We want BoxRelay to work with the privileges of the user who actually started the workflow, not the user who created the workflow.
In the current specification, workflows in BoxRelay operate under the authority of the user who created the flow, not the user who executed the flow.
This causes confusion because there is a discrepancy with the actual operation performed. We would like to improve this so that Relay can correctly confirm who started the flow.【日本語】

create a new folder while moving file
There should be the ability to create a new folder while moving a file to a new location. Right now we have to create the folder in the location we want the new file in and then return to the current location and then move it. Time consuming.

Large Folder Operations dashboard with status, ETA, rollback, and reporting
Requesting a centralized Large Folder Operations Dashboard in the Box Admin Console or via API to improve visibility and control over major content transfers.
During a large folder ownership change, an unexpected behavior occurred where ownership polling and job sequencing did not reflect the actual state of completion. This led to a move propagating recursively from an empty child folder to an inherited, multi-million-object parent folder.
A built-in dashboard would provide transparency into large operations and prevent this class of issue from occurring silently.

Report output for file request links
Currently, administrators can view a list of file request links on the file request dashboard, but there are limited filtering options.
When a large number of file request links have been issued, it becomes difficult to find specific ones.
We would like to search for file request link information through a report, so I request the implementation of a file request link report.(In Japanese)

More robust in-line editing for Box App views
Currently inline editing is limited to single select metadata values. It would be great if this could be expanded to other data types, especially multiselect and date.

Prevent auto-scroll during AI answer generation
Description:
When using the AI sidebar, the window automatically scrolls to the bottom while the answer is being generated. Even if I scroll up to read the beginning of the response, the view jumps back down each time new text appears.This makes it difficult to read longer answers until the generation is complete.
Request:
Could the behavior be adjusted so that when the user manually scrolls up, the current scroll position is maintained — allowing us to read the generated text immediately without being forced to the end of the response?2 votes -
Ability to invite external unmanaged users into Box Apps
We are requesting a new feature that allows external (unmanaged) users to be invited into Box Apps.
Use Case Example:
A law firm wants to share categorized legal documents with their clients through Box. Currently, Box Apps enable internal users to view and manage files with rich metadata, making it easy to organize and automate workflows. However, clients cannot access these metadata views directly. Customers should have the ability to view this structure and even work with it to launch automations and processes, as well as search their documents more easily.9 votes -
Keyboard shortcut for changing Font Style of Box Notes
I would like to add keyboard shortcuts to change the font style (HEADING 1/2/3, TEXT) of Box Notes.

Box language settings are not reflected in Box Notes.
Even if I change the display language of Box, the display of Box Notes does not switch to that language.
As I checked, it seems to depend on the language setting of the browser.
Other features such as Box Canvas and Box Hubs are tied to the display language of Box, so I would like to see Box Notes modified to work the same way.3 votes -
Prevent modals (Box AI and New Collection) from closing when clicking outside
We would like to request a change to the behavior of modal windows, specifically for Box AI and the "Create New Collection" screen. Currently, these modals close automatically if a user clicks anywhere outside the modal area. I request that they remain open unless the "Close" or "Cancel" button is explicitly clicked.
Reasoning:
We are using Pendo to provide in-app training and guidance to help our employees adopt Box AI and other Box features. Improve visibility and speed of LFOs within Box
I’d like to share some feedback about the lack of visibility and the slow speed of Large File Operations (LFOs) in Box, particularly when moving large folders or performing ownership changes.
These actions cause unavoidable downtime, but there’s no clear timeframe provided, and all items under the affected folders become inaccessible until the process finishes. This is creating significant headaches for our IT operations, especially as we’re working through major corporate restructuring. Add specific error message for managed users whose domain is owned by another tenant
When an admin attempts to add a managed user whose email domain is already registered to another tenant, the system should display a specific error message explaining the reason.
Currently, the error message only states “1 user cannot be added,” which provides no context and makes it difficult for admins to understand what went wrong or how to resolve the issue.

Request for an option to enable or disable email notifications when sharing a Hub
When sharing a Hub, I would like to be able to choose whether or not to send an email to the person I invited.
This is because users are not used to receiving notification emails from Box and might perceive them as spam, which would prevent unnecessary inquiries from being made to the IT department.
The addition of the Hub will be announced separately on the portal site, so I would like the Hub to be quietly added to the Hubs menu.1 vote -

Download event is not recorded in User Activity Report
When a user downloads a signed PDF from the Sign Inbox page, the "Download" event is not recorded in the User Activity Report. Instead, a "Content Access" event is logged.
However, when downloading a signature log from the same page, the "Download" event is correctly recorded.We would like to ensure that the correct event is logged in all cases to accurately track user activities.

Added deletion counts to public Beta for Folder Insights
The public beta version of Folder Insights does not provide insight into deletions made within folders.
Until now, if a file was accidentally deleted, it was necessary to get an administrator report, which was a lot of work, but if Folder Insights can provide a report of deleted files, work will become smoother.

Capability to add shortcuts to link to an existing box file or folder
Capability to create a shortcut/bookmark/link to an existing file or folder that works with box drive. So il will be easy to refer to a folder or file. This will ease my work a lot and many other user. This basic apability should have been possible from the start. Thank you

Co-admin permissions : report role has too many rights
If a user has only the report co-admin role ("Run new reports and access existing reports") to let him create reports for him, he can see other things in the admin console :
- Insights
- Content
- Reports (OK)
- Platform (with the Create Sandbox button !)Is it possible to secure this, so he can only see the Reports part ?
