change default value of 'Link viewers can'
Account settings > Sharing > Shared links > 'Link viewers can'
Admin console > Enterprise settings > Content & Sharing > Shared links > 'Link viewers can'When user select 'Preview, download, and edit the shared item' in 'Link viewers can', default value of shared link is 'Can view and download'.
When user select 'Preview the shared item only' in 'Link viewers can', default value of shared link is 'Can view only'.
User want to set default setting to 'Can view only' when user create shared link.

Reports/Notifications on Instant Login use
Generate reports and/or notify others when admins use Instant Login. Admins could potentially view sensitive content when logged on as another user.

Watson integration
It has been a real torture to be able to integrate box with watson discovery, first because of the authorization issue, second, once we have the new authorized app there is no way to have a UI to access it easily. second when we try to integrate watson discovery absolutely nothing appears.
The documentation is not clear from both watson and Box.

Working on same file simultaneously
Possibility in Box Drive - (and also in any other application (online, app,..))- to lock a file (e.g. Excel file) automatically as soon as one user is in the document.
Therefore, if the next user wants to open the same file while one user is already working on it, it gets immediately a message like "Read only". As soon as the user is out of the file, and no user has opened the file, whoever wants to open it, can open it without any warnings in editor mode.2 votes -
Box Drive: Display pop up warning when copy / move large number of items
Just like below warning pop-up displayed in WebApp, Box Drive shall pop up a warning to let the user know when large number of files / folders are going to be copied / moved. (also to prevent accidental copies / moves)

Show full filename in Box Search
Box Search cuts off long file names. If the file name is prefaced with the date or other info, the information one actually needs from the file name may be hidden from the user.
This can be solved by making the Box Search window larger, making it as large as the longest filename, or by showing the filename when a user mouses over the filename or file icon, or when a user uses the arrow keys to select (but not yet open) a file in the Box Search results.

PDF bookmark support for Android devices
We would like to see full implementation of PDF bookmark support for Android devices, similar to what the current iOS application offers. At present, there is an icon & text that indicates bookmarks should be accessible for PDFs, but in actuality the feature non-functional and not supported yet.

Box Invitation
When Box Invitations are sent to users, it comes from a do not reply email, but displays the users full name that is sending the invitation. This causes confusion for collaborators who try and respond to the email. There needs to be a template email that can be added to the invitation when sent, or an auto response if a collaborator tries and responds to the do not reply email.

Additional Relay Approval options beyond Go to Outcome 1 and End the flow
When using an approval task and sending a notification you are given two options, End the flow and Go to outcome 1. I'd like to be able to advise it to go to Outcome 2 or Outcome 3 of the workflow so things are more flexible in more complex workflows.

interested in an inclusion/exclusion list FOR downloading files, as part of a Shield access policy.
Ex: If Owners/Co-Owners/Editors are OK to download they want control the file types they can download. I know you can control this by just creating a separate classification and policy but that could cause too many of them. Better to create an filetype inclusion list

Avoid syncing certain file types.
Hello.
I am a 3D modeler and I use Box assiduously.
My working folder is directly Box's sync directory. The program that I use saves a backup version of the model, time to time and sometimes this files are huge.
I ran into the problem that these backups are synchronized, generating traffic and taking up space.
It would be a great help if it could be included in future versions, to be able to ignore certain files based on their extension.

Timed logout out option with inactivity
Would like to elect to have a timed log out option. For example if you set 10minutes or 1hr of inactivity you would be automatically logged out like a banking website.

Recommend a new permission level that is the same access as "Viewer" but the "Viewer" to share at the same level
The sharing level of "Viewer" is beneficial to share approved documents through Duke Box. In our capacity the information in the approved document that is shared with the owner as "Viewer" should also be accessible to other individuals that the owner deems appropriate so these individuals know exactly want is approved, what is expected of them, and how to remain compliant. Recommend an automated, timed backup onto a secure Duke folder for ToolKit folders/files to improve deleted file recovery options for a team. Now it appears that recovery of files that were deleted in a shared Duke Box Toolkit folder can only be recovered by the individual that deleted the file (not the co-owner or admin without the assistance of the individual that performed the deletion). For critical files this is a security risk to just store the files on the Box Drive because it severely limits identifying and recovering deleted files. Currently, there are times when file conflicts occur and go unnoticed.

Ability to view Box folders and files more clearly
Currently, when we look at a list of folders or files, we feel that they are displayed in a cluttered way.
This makes it difficult to find a particular item.
We manage and respond to items by grouping them by tags.We believe that the following features will make Box even more convenient for us to use in the future
・Assign any colour to the folders in the box
・Assign any colour to the tags in the Box
・The order of the tags in the Box can be rearranged by dragging.[Boxのフォルダやファイルを更に見やすくする機能]

I want to lock an instance's value of a metadata template
Given that a template has multi-select that has A, B and C as value. Currently, if a user has attached an Instance of a Template to a file, on that Instance, a multi-select field has the value of “B”. If the Template is updated so that multi-select option “B” is changed to “D”, then that change will also affect the value in the Instance (and all other Instances of the Template). We have found that most of our clients use google drive for storage of content for us to work with. We could really use a tool that assists us in transfers direct from google drive to our Box
