  2. Open Shared Link Controls: Default Password Requirements for Open Shared Links

    REQUEST: Admin would like the ability to set a global control whereby all public/open ('people with the link') links must have a password.

    Our current controls on shared links impact all 3 Shared Link permissions causing additional impact on the user experience.

    Instead of “require password” security control, we intend to support “Require OTP” requirement for public links (via SMS, Email, or TOTP). I wanted to share where we are headed. We do not plan on delivering this ask as is, but we do intend to solve the security use case behind it.

  3. Customization of SSO login screen

    Further allow branding customization and controls on login screen. We do not use "network usernames" and as such it can be confusing for users.

    Thank you for this suggestion. I understand the use case. However, we do not plan to accommodate that level of customization at this time.

  5. Custom Keyboard Shortcuts in Box Notes

    OneNote and Word have different short cuts from Box Notes (and from each other). Users would be faster to adopt if they didn't have to learn new short cuts.

  7. For problem items on Box, add ability to click on the problem item and be taken directly to the item on Box.

    We currently do not have this planned on our roadmap.  Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

  10. Suffix Match on titles (a form of Wildcard Search)

    We need this feature for legal eDiscovery purposes.

    We were doing some file name search testing, and we found some odd results based on our filename searches.

    If the filename was alphaomega and we tried searching for omega the search does not pull up any results, but searching alpha does pull up the alphaomega files.

    Thank you for the feedback. We have noted this feature request and understand the value of this feature. Unfortunately, it is not on the current roadmap.

  11. Bring back the "Login with SSO" link on the login page

    User from universities have 2 email addresses, one they are not always aware of. They are not being re-directed to the SSO login page when they enter the alias instead of the email address on their box account causing confusion. Previously, they would have been redirected

  13. 2-Factor Authentication for Drive

    If a client has MFA/2-Factor Authentication required for all users, it would be great if Drive required similar additional protection to safeguard user content.

    HTML files appear to no longer be rendering the HTML. Instead, they are just showing me the content of the HTML code.

  15. Require 2FA for certain content only (not globally)

  17. Allow export of content from Content Manager

    When reviewing content from users who are on legal hold, allow admins to export data directly from Content Manager instead of requiring the admin to navigate to the file in Box.
