  1. More specific link in "XXXX's download activity is unusual" email.

    When a "XXXX's download activity is unusual" email is generated, there is a link in the email.

    The link directs just to the admin console where you then have to input the search criteria yourself. Ideally, the notification link would be specific to the user and the download activity.

  2. Unified Desktop Apps Installer (for Box Sync, Notes, Tools/Edit)

    For companies who prefer users to 'opt in' to using Box apps instead of push installation, they would like to have a single 'app bundle' that users can download and install multiple Box applications at once.

    This limit is in place to prevent scale related issues. We are not planning to change this in the immediate future.

  7. Metadata Versioning History

    As we need to meet specific regulatory or compliance requirements, it's helpful to have a history of the metadata attributes that are applied to a folder or file.

    It would be ideal if this was versioned on files/folders in the UI or reportable via user reports.

    Although we do not plan to introduce this feature in the near term, we recognize its importance. We will certainly keep this in mind for future roadmap inclusion and we will keep the status of this request updated to accurately reflect our current position.

    Thanks for your feedback. We’re currently working on improving some of the existing product notification emails in the short and medium term. We will take your feedback into account as we review our overall notification strategy.

  9. Change local BfD folder UI to distinguish if collaborators are in folders (like webapp)

    Add UI to local BfD folders to know ownership/collaborators of folders (i.e. yellow = no collabs, grey = external collab, blue = owned externally + collaborators)

    We currently plan on monthly releases. EMM tends to release 2 weeks after the standard app, assuming there are no major issues discovered.

  18. in the problem item UI, the "More..." phrase is confusing. It should say "More details".

    You cannot expand the window to make it say "More details"

  19. Add ability to dismiss problem items if the user does not want to address the issue

    For example, a Box item's name has characters that Windows does not support.

    The user wishes to keep the name as is and doesn't need to see the item locally.

    With Box Sync, they could just unsync the folder to avoid the problem item. With Box Drive, they cannot avoid the problem item.

  20. For problem items on Box, add ability to click on the problem item and be taken directly to the item on Box.
