  4. Bulk Edit - Add Email Alias Column(s) to Bulk Edit Spreadsheet

Currently there's no way for an admin to manage/edit email aliases for their users in bulk via the Admin Console (they must develop custom scripting to do so).

REQUEST: Add the ability to edit/add email aliases for users when using the Bulk Edit feature (meaning add an alias column to the spreadsheet that allows the user to enter multiple aliases in one cell, separated by a delimeter like a semicolon - exactly what we already have for the Groups column of the spreadsheet).

  6. Enable Device Trust for Co-Administrators as Well

Under the current specification, device trust is not applied to administrators and co-administrators to prevent them from being accidentally locked out of the management console.
Because co-administrators have higher privileges than regular users, they can freely access the console from personal PCs and other unmanaged devices, which raises concerns about the risk of information leakage.
From a security perspective, we would like to request the implementation of a feature that allows administrators to choose whether to apply device trust to co-administrators (“enable” or “disable”).

  7. We'd like Box Agent to reference not only the files but also the text information within the Hub site

Before Box AI Home was released, when we asked the AI a question, it would reference not only the files linked within the Hub but also the text information on the site. However, after enabling AI Home and asking questions to the Box Agent in Hub, it now only references the content linked to the Hub. I would also like it to reference the text information (such as the descriptions written on the Hub site).

  8. Support mapping a single Microsoft Entra ID tenant to multiple Box enterprises (MPIP–Box Shield label integration)

Request: Allow a single Microsoft Entra ID tenant to be connected to multiple Box enterprises, so that MPIP sensitivity labels can be mapped to Box Shield classifications in each of them.

Background:Currently, the MPIP sensitivity label to Box Shield classification integration can only be established between one Microsoft Entra ID tenant and one Box enterprise (1:1).

However, many organizations operate a single Entra ID tenant while maintaining multiple separate Box enterprises — for example, group companies whose subsidiaries keep their content stores separated but share a single corporate identity provider and a single Purview governance policy.

    Under the current 1:1…

  9. Enable Microsoft 365 Copilot in Excel Online for Excel files stored in Box

    [English]

We would like Microsoft 365 Copilot in Excel to be available when an Excel file stored in Box is opened and edited with Excel Online from the Box web application.

Currently, users can open Excel files stored in Box using Excel Online and edit them collaboratively. However, the native Copilot functionality in Excel is not available or enabled for these files because the files are stored in Box rather than in OneDrive or SharePoint.

This results in an inconsistent user experience:

    • Excel files stored in OneDrive or SharePoint can use the native Copilot features in Excel.
    • The same Excel…

Resolve the inconsistency in logo display between PC and mobile (responsive) views for the sidebar/header, and add a customization option for the mobile logo

    [Body]
We would like to request an improvement to the logo display specifications in Box, as there is currently an inconsistency between the PC and mobile (responsive) views.

    Current situation:
In the PC view, the Box logo is always fixed and displayed in the sidebar.
In the mobile (responsive) view, the logo shown in the header switches from the Box logo to the company’s custom logo, resulting in an inconsistency in display and preventing the…

  11. Sign Template Recovery

If a file used for a Sign template is accidentally deleted and restored, the sign template is not restored even though the file is. The sign template should be restored along with the file instead of having to redo the entire template.

  12. In the "Folders and Files" report, I want to get the number of contents for each folder.

When copying or moving content, the process tends to become unstable or more prone to errors as the number of contents in the target folder increases. Therefore, as a countermeasure, there are cases where content is divided into smaller parts and copied/moved multiple times. However, currently, the number of contents per folder, which serves as a basis for this judgment, cannot be obtained from the report.
It would be very helpful if the "Folders and Files" report could also retrieve the number of contents in each folder.
This allows you to identify folders with a large number of items in…

  13. Increase the Maximum Number of Actions per Box Automate Workflow

    {English}
We would like to request an increase in the maximum number of actions that can be executed within a single Box Automate workflow.

Currently, the limit is 200 actions per workflow execution. However, based on real customer business requirements, some workflows are reaching this limit and cannot be fully implemented within the current constraints.

Increasing the limit to approximately 2,000 actions would address these use cases and enable customers to automate larger-scale business processes without requiring complex workarounds or workflow redesign.

This request was submitted based on customer feedback.

    ====
    {Japanese}
    Box Automateワークフローで一度に実行できるアクション数の上限拡張を希望します。

    現在、1回のワークフロー実行で利用できるアクション数は200に制限されています。しかし、実際の顧客業務要件を考慮すると、この上限に達してしまい、実現できないフローが存在します。

    上限を2,000アクション程度まで拡張いただけると、このようなユースケースに対応でき、大規模な業務プロセスをワークアラウンドや複雑なフロー分割なしで実装できるようになります。

    本要望は顧客からのフィードバックに基づくものです。

  14. Request for Hubs Version History Feature

    Customer Pain Point & Concern:
Our customer is highly concerned about the risk of editors accidentally deleting or overwriting pages or sections within Hubs. Currently, there is no built-in version control or version history feature for Hubs (similar to what is available in Box Notes). As a workaround to prepare a backup plan, they are currently forced to take manual, regular backups by copying content, which has proven to be extremely tedious and inefficient.

    Requested Feature:

Version History for Hubs: A feature similar to Box Notes that allows users to view, restore, and revert to older versions of Hubs pages…

  15. Controlling the Visibility of External Collaboration Folders in Box Drive via Admin Settings

We would like administrators to be able to control the visibility of external folders in Box Drive via the Admin Console.

    [Background]
When using Box Drive, the following security risks exist:
・Risk of data leakage due to user error: Files or folders may be accidentally dragged and dropped into external collaboration folders.
・Risk of ransomware spreading to external tenants: If a user falls victim to ransomware, the encryption attack may also affect external collaboration folders belonging to other companies.

We would like administrators to be able to control the visibility of external folders in Box Drive via the Admin…

  16. Show the date the classification label was applied for items uploaded by external users.

    件名:外部ユーザーがアップロードしたアイテムに対して、分類ラベルが適用された日付を表示する

Regardless of whether the user checking the date the classification label was applied has the appropriate permissions, if the user who uploaded the item is an external user, the date the classification label was applied is not displayed.
It is inconvenient that this cannot be confirmed from the Box UI.
While it is possible to check the classification label application date in the User Activity Report, doing so requires an administrator or co-admin and can take time.
Please make the date the classification label was applied visible on the item details page for the relevant item.

    訳:
     分類ラベルが適用された日を確認するユーザが適切な権限を付与されているか否かにかかわらず、アイテムをアップロードしたユーザが外部ユーザの場合、分類ラベルが適用された日付が表示されません。

  18. Enable branching from any point in a previous Box AI Home conversation

▼What problem could Box solve for you?
Box AI Home provides session history and allows users to view and resume previous sessions. However, when users revisit a past conversation, they need the ability to branch from a specific point in the conversation and ask a new follow-up question without overwriting or altering the original conversation flow.

Today, users may have long-running Box AI conversations involving multiple files, folders, or Hubs as sources. In many business scenarios, a user may want to go back to an earlier answer or question and explore a different direction from that exact point. For example,…

  19. Per-Application Control for AI API

    【Current Behavior】
The AI API setting in the Admin Console is currently a tenant-wide
toggle (ON/OFF). Once enabled, all custom applications (both
Server Authentication and OAuth 2.0 apps) under the enterprise
can invoke AI API endpoints. There is no mechanism to permit or
restrict AI API usage on a per-application basis.

    【Problem / Business Impact】
Because AI API consumption is billable, administrators cannot
selectively allow AI API access only for specific sanctioned
applications while blocking others. This creates the following
    risks:

    1. Uncontrolled billing exposure: Any application with AI API scope enabled can trigger consumption that the administrator did not sanction,…

  20. Support for shared links in MCP

Add a shared link resolution tool to the Box MCP server that accepts a Box shared link URL and returns the corresponding file or folder ID and metadata. Shared links are the primary way our users share content in Box, and without this capability, an agent cannot act on a shared link that a user provides directly. Users share links with colleagues as a natural part of their workflow; they should be able to share them with an AI agent the same way.
