sync to a RAID
Our global video team need a cloud solution that can be saved to our external RAIDs. We need to store and access TB's of footage. Desktop hard drives are no large enough.
We could potentially use the older 'Box sync', but we understand that it is due to be phased out, and it does not support selective offline/online syncing, which we need.

don't show files till all the files are uploaded
I often send files to coworkers and I dislike that the file is downloadable to them before it's actually fully downloaded to box. This ends up creating a corrupt/ non-workable file for them. Also I think the files should not show up on their end before all the files are completely downloaded, in batch uploads because I will have coworkers then say only some of the files are downloaded and it looks like a mistake when it's just still uploading. Thanks!

My Mac will not show JPG or PDF thumbnails
I am using Box Drive instead of Box Sync. Now I cannot see thumbnails of JPG's and PDF's and it is very frustrating for my work.

Upgrade Box Drive-G Drive 100 MB Limit Size Limitation
I have a ticket number - #2250687 that has been closed because we need a feature request. When a file is created in Google Docs via Box, most of our users at Apeel keep having issues making changes, saving, sharing or downloading files.
What happens is Google makes edits to the file, the file grows larger than 100 MB, Google then fails to send those changes to Box. Error message when sharing due to inclusion of URL in message
When sharing a file or folder, the optional message will trigger an error if the user includes a URL in the message text. Instead of just validating the message body in context, the validation cancels the entire sharing popup interface and all of the email addresses that the user carefully entered and the entire message body that the user carefully crafted is lost. Why not just prompt the user to not type a URL and leave the sharing popup interface intact for correction? Allow default to full screen view on iPad horizontal view (like portrait view)
I like to view box in full screen and because I use landscape view often, I have to hit the double arrow every time I go to a page. In portrait view it automatically goes to full screen view. I'd like an option to automatically go to full screen in landscape.

Increase Google file size limitation >100MB
Please have Google increase File Size Limitation over 100MB.
Google currently has a file size limitation of 100 MB. In our workflow 1. Doc is created in Google Slides. 2. Once finalized, that doc becomes a template (>100MB) where it is shared across the entire company. 3. Once other users begin to make changes or try to make a copy to that template, they all get the Unsaved Changes message, due to Google's owner of the file size limitation. Google then fails to send those changes to Box.

progress when move files
Similar to when Upload files to Box, show a progress bar when Move files within Box. This is particularly helpful when move over a large number of files and folders.

Allow Shared folders to be owned by Domain ( vs user)
Similar to Google's Shared Drives, allowing admins to set ownership of a shared drive at the domain level vs user (human or service) would minimize the need for Service Accounts or changing ownership as users leave the company.

Slack Workflow Builder integration
I am creating workflow with "Slack workflow builder". And I want to output the file whose information is collected by the workflow to box.

2 votesThis is currently not planned. Please consider that there exist first Box connectors for the Slack Platform 2.0 Workflows, which currently allow to copy a file, create a folder and request a Box Sign signature.

The ability to send a file to a specified user without requesting receiver to create Box account
We are looking for a way to share a file without requesting external receiver to create Box account. Shared Link with "anyone can access" is too open and risky so we need to specify the receiver by email etc. Dropbox provides this by Dropbox Transfer.

Allow for a larger logo in the New Web UI
The new interface significantly reduces the size of the company logo used in the branding configuration. The change makes the presence of our logo imperceptible to users. Allowing to modify the size of it or even keeping the current interface design could be an alternative.

Folder transition improvement in Box for iOS, including EMM

Please improve the folder transition when selecting a file on iOS and opening it with Box for iOS (including EMM).- Please be able to show a shortcut to any folder at open-in
- Please be able to specify the folder to be displayed at open-in
[Request Background]
The folder displayed in Open In is always the root folder of the user, and it is cumbersome and inefficient to reach the desired folder, which has an impact on business operations.I want to use the above method to improve efficiency.

Improving the experience of passing files to the Box app with Open-in on iOS
Please improve moving to the target folder operation when selecting a file on iOS and Open-in it with Box for iOS (and EMM).
- Please be able to show a shortcut to any folder at open-in

Improve web site usability
When I share image folder with someone who does not have account at Box.com - their browsing experience is currently poor: it's not possible to see all photos as previews, changing their size, not possible to use arrows / swipe to navigate between previous and next full-sized picture and so on... Web site usability needs to be greatly improved to match best cloud services on the market.

Hide thumbnails in previewing a doc
I would like the opportunity to hide the thumbnails that appear on the left side of the screen when I preview the document. I would love to be able to have more real estate to look at the doc itself. There may be a time when it might be important to have those thumbnails come back, so a way to hide and unhide it would be great.

I have both personal and company files in my Box and would like to be able to sync only some of to my work computer and others to my home computer.
