API technical and display name
In metadata template designer: As in the API technical and display name are saved, at least the display name has to be changeable while the technical name has to be presented as a valuable information.

Better detailed logging for iOS app that's available to customers for troubleshooting.
Would like an advanced logging that can be initiated on the iOS Box for EMM app to help capture why uploads fail. It is surprising that there is no “verbose” logging available for the iOS app.

Ability to login as a Co-Admin to users' accounts
Would like the ability to login as a Co-Admin to users’ accounts, even if those users still have not reset their password, without getting prompted to reset the password for that user. The Primary Admin does not get prompted to reset users’ passwords upon instant login, even if the end user is still required to reset their own password.

Submitting a Support Ticket
When submitting a ticket with the support site, add the option to submit a ticket specifically for issues with the support site itself. It's possible to classify tickets this way on our end, but not on the user's apparently.

Accessibility view of public folders to not require an account
Would like a.box.com to not require individuals who want to access public folders to have a box account.

“Fit to window” on preview page
When I preview a presentation or some document that is oriented landscape or is just wide, the document is cut off on the right-hand side by the activity stream window and menu system. Preview should always “fit to window” so I can see the whole document.

"Scopes enabled by request" in the app authorization page
Would like the "scopes enabled by request" (https://developer.box.com/docs/scopes#section-scopes-enabled-by-request) which have been enabled on their app to be listed in the app authorization or in the configuration page for their app in the dev console.

Box Drive Notification
It would be nice to have a feature we can use to notify end users of the restriction to upload files at the root level in Box Drive. Right now we are depending on sync errors which can be easily dismissed by non technical users and I believe if a message was clearly displayed of the restriction It would cause less confusion and create a better user experience.

We would like the ability to create a file in Box from our cloud applications rather than the local applications.
As you can change the default application a document type can be opened with, we would like that ability with creating files as well.
At the moment, creating a file within the WebApp defaults to Box Tools and cannot be changed.

billing
It would be nice to have a role for billing administrator. Where the Billing Administrator would be able to manage subscriptions and credit card information but not the rest of the administrative settings.

Better handling of situation when another application creates a folder at the Box Drive folder path
Would like to see a few changes to Box:
1) A better error message
2) A possibility to continue regardless of the error
3) A better handling of the situation where an application have taken ‘ownership’ of the Box directory2 votes -
Notify user when moving a folder breaks collaborator permissions
When moving a folder that has inherited permissions from a higher folder, the webapp should recognize that it will lose those collaborations. It would also be great if it then asked the user if it is ok, if they would like to cancel the move, or if they would like to invite the collaborators on the folder in its new location.

Box Community Username Creation
This is just a small nuisance, but when logging into Box Community, the site takes credentials from whatever user you are logged in as in other tabs. Including any users that you're logged in under the admin console with. It often asks you to create a username as the user has not created a box community username. Additionally, are no options to view what email address it's asking to create a username with. More often than not we end up creating a bogus username just to get the thing to go away, as the end user would rather approach us…

Please add ”LIKE! or Stamp" feature (Just like facebook and slack)
Me and my colleagues want this feature, to show gratitude to the person who created the content.
After new feature "Feed" has released, in my team, sharing the content become more effective. We can notice the new documents and see and use or give he/she an advise. which help our team really a lot. However, I cannot show gratitude to the person who created the content... so I am using slack to say thank you...2 votes -
Pop-up message when not able to copy ALL data
It would be strongly needed a pop-up message that informs the user when Box stops copying the data and an information on which data has been copied and which not.

Box Drive to notify users before logging out that files or folders not sycn up will be lost.
It will be helpful if users will be notified before logging out of Box Drive that all files or folders not sync up to Box will be lost . In this way, users will be able to check again on the problem items and save it on other location before proceeding on logging out. This will prevent loss of files.

Forward Antivirus Protection notifications to specific definable email addresses
As of now, only Site Admin and Content Owners will receive notifications from the Box Antivirus protection feature. We would like the ability to send those notifications to definable addresses within our organization. This will ensure our Security Team gets all the proper notifications and not just the Site Admin and Content Owner.
The work around at the moment is to have the Site Owner setup forwarding Rules in their e-mail application.

Add FolderID in error messaging when attempting to create a folder of the same name in the same path through API
Receive the folderID for an already created folder when attempting to create a folder of the same name in the same path through API.
