2. Feeds and tasks in the carousel.

   I want to see feeds, tasks and notifications in the carousel instead of opening feeds, not pop-ups or email notifications.
   By doing so, the user can notice it quickly.
   However, the current carousel has few display items in the first place.

3. Copied photos do not carry any of the comments made on the original file.

   Comments that I have added to photos do not remain when I copy those photos to other folders within box. This is terrible as I now have to go through all of the copied photos for a second time and manually add all the comments that are associated with the original picture files.

   Please fix this.

4. Move whith leaving a bookmark menu

   I would like to see "Move whith leaving a bookmark" added to the file menu.

   【Background】
   We are trying to centralize data management by using Box, but
   Copying files and folders within Box becomes inefficient if it becomes the norm.
   Searchability is reduced, file merging becomes more time-consuming, and the risk of editing or sending the wrong file increases.

   We want users to use "move" as their main tool, but
   However, if a file is removed from the source folder, other users will be confused and it will be difficult to use.

   The bookmark creation function is difficult to find and is not widely used.
   There are users who understand bookmarks, but they are not used much because of the complicated operation.

   【Expected behavior】
   (1)"Move whith leaving a bookmark" will be displayed in the menu when right-clicking on a file.
   (2)When "Move whith leaving a bookmark" is clicked, a shared link*1 for the target file is automatically issued, and a bookmark with the following information is created in the folder.
   - URL: File URL of the target file (since the shared link may be deleted)
   - Name: {FileName} has been moved
   - Description: {FileName} has been moved to a different folder by {the name of the user who performed the move}. If you do not have access to this bookmark, check with {the name of the user who performed the move}.

   (3)The Move menu will open, and users select the destination and move the file.

   Please consider this idea to realize centralized data management and business efficiency using Box.

   *1 The open range is the one specified as default in the Enterprise settings. The behavior of issuing an open link by default should be avoided at all costs.

5. Custom error messages when shared links cannot be accessed

   【Request】
   I'd like to be able to customize the error message when I can't access a shared link in Enterprise settings.

   【Current Status and Issues】
   The current error message is
   "This shared file or folder link has been removed or is unavailable to you.
   Think it's a mistake? No worries: Just email the owner or get in touch with Box support. We're here to help."

   However, it doesn't help with the next step at all.

   Even if the owner or administrator is contacted, they often can't identify the file and can't provide any support.
   Also, it is not always possible to find out who owns the linked file in the first place.
   In many cases, it is not the owner who should be contacted, but the person who sent the link.

   A message that does not lead to a solution can cause users to give up and leave the shared link.

   There are several suggestions for desirable descriptions,
   however, the best way is for the administrator to be able to freely customize it, just like the login screen, since each company's case is different.

   Please consider this so that users do not give up using the shared link and go back to attachments.

6. I want to be able to upload/stream data in real time to a secure Box folder

   Drone operators, Tik Tok users, event planners, wildlife professionals, military training heads, aircraft pilots -- off the top of my head, these are just a few great uses for streaming media files in real time directly to a secure Box folder. Omit the extra, less-secure step of capturing material on a mobile device (laptop, outdoor camera, phone, and so on), and then uploading it to Box. And never worry about the camera, phone, or other device holding your precious content failing or becoming lost before you've had a chance to view/upload the data.

7. Box Notes inbox

   I use Boxnote all day long for meeting notes, agenda, drafting documents asynchronously, etc. It's great. However, I would love to see a more streamlined inbox format so I can find relevant boxnotes more easily. I can only see 5 boxnotes listed before I have to start scrolling down the page because there are three lines of text: the file name, when it was updated, and what folder it's in. All I need is the name. If the other lines and the extra blank space were to be removed, I'd be able to see many more listed. I'd like to be able to see my 20 most recent files without scrolling endlessly. Do others have this feedback? Thanks!

8. Automatic notification of an added sub-folder

   I would like to be notified when a new sub-folder is added to an existing folder. It would be helpful if this could be set and be automatic as opposed to requiring a person to tell me. It seems a basic idea for BOX and was surprised it did not exist. Am requesting per this page.

9. Allow enter date for tasks within a workflow

   Today the initiator of the workflow can enter recipients for a task outcome, but cannot specify date. This is very limiting in case the tasks should be completed by a certain date that can only be known by the initiator.
   I have a use case for a highly valuable workflow, but because of this missing capability it cannot be implemented.
   I believe that adding this capability make a lot of sense and would make the use of tasks in workflows much more powerful.

11. brandfolder alternative - publish large files from creative team without involving a web developer to update the page

    Brandfolder helps your brand easily give access to journalists wanting to write about your brand, a good example https://brandfolder.com/finisswim. On the front page of their website https://www.finisswim.com/ it shows a brandfolder icon to direct them to this link.

    I want box to be able to make a folder public and let journalists have access to all the files we put in this folder. Box has this functionality - it's just not so elegant.

    1) it doesn't display just the photos in GRID view. It shows the filenames, when it was uploaded, and my graphic designer's name, and the file size. All info that doesn't need to be there - we want to show the full graphic instead of some chopped version of the photo that currently displays.

    2) the detail info on the right is not necessary - we just want to show pretty pictures and if they click on the pictures, it can be downloaded.

12. Clearly Differentiate Options on "Share this Folder" Screen

    On the "Share this Folder" window, I would LOVE for that incredibly thin horizontal dividing line to be thicker/darker. Alternatively, any intuitive page design change that would better differentiate the "INVITE PEOPLE" option from the "SHARE LINK" option would be wonderful! I do a lot of initial handholding for our new managed users with respect to sharing content.

13. From Mobile apps, be able to stop autoread to next files

    It is when we put several mp3 files into a box folder or share multiple files with others. Then, when accessed these through the box app on a phone .... If we play one, the phone doesn't stop at the end, but goes on to play the next mp3 in the folder or the list of files shared.

    Having just that one feature is indesirable. It generates less traffic to the apps and less exposure to Box other services ... I suppose the assumption was possibly for listening to music. But when we share podcasts or voice recordings, the current forced autoread of next goes against needs of single file reading. For exemple, a relaxation for sleep needs to stop there so that users can go to sleep without being back awake by the next recording ...

    Now, I have to tell my customers and partners not to use it the apps anymore. We are back to links from which they download.

    Whatever the changes made, we just need to be able to read only one file from the Mobile Box Apps for Android or Iphone.

14. Box Drive can no longer "open on box.com" on Mac

    Previously on Box Drive you could right click on a file and choose to be taken to its location on box.com.

    Since the latest Mac, the functionality has disappeared, which affects the ease of using integrations with box.

15. Add a RE-DO function to the UI

    I accidentally covered a file (A) with another one (B) when I was UPLOADing (B). I want to re-do that step but I cannot find a way to do that. I tried to get access to older version of that file to recover the old one but there was no older version record, It looks like I lose that file (A) permanently.

    I need your help to:
    (1) Recover the file (A)
    (2) Add a RE-DO function to the UI

16. Single Pane of Glass for Multitenant Administration

    We currently have 3 Box tenants that we are having to support and currently doing so with 3 different sets of accounts/credentials. We would like to be able to see all tenants under one Admin Console and be able to make changes from that one console to all of our Box tenants.

    We are also using Okta single sign on all domain joined devices. Users login to their laptop with their primary domain account and are signed in to the primary Box tenant. Users that need to access a different Box tenant are having to user another browser or incognito mode so that they can login to their secondary Box tenant.

    Is there an easy way to lift and shift secondary tenant data to our primary Box tenant so that users can access their Box data with Okta single sign on? It is required that the users retain their branding/logo of their current tenant.

17. Relay outcome based on File Type

    Use Relay to take actions on files based on file type - e.g. ability to create a workflow that if X file is uploaded to a folder and is a .JPG, the outcome would be to add Z metadata or copy the file to Y folder, etc.

18. Access Stats time reporting in Web App

    For reporting purposes, would like the time stamp within Access Stats to show user activity on a file down to the second within in web app reporting (hr:min:sec). Currently, Access Stats give access time to the minute (hr:min).

19. Make it possible to change or remove multiple people's permissions on a folder all at hte same time. I

    Currently, if you want to change or remove the permissions of collaborators, you need to do it individually, and it takes 3-5 clicks/person. It would be great if there was a checkbox and you could click or unclick those you wanted to remove from collaborating. Alternately, it would be even better if the the folder could be moved to an archive which would automatically remove permissions.

20. Bug related to New Folders and Inputting Titles

    Every time you create click create a new folder, the title input box pops up but you're only allowed to type for less than 1 second before you have to manually click back into the Folder Name text box.

    I am using the Box website online and this issue didn't exist until Q4 2019 when I first noticed it. At that time, a user had to click the tab button to be able to type into the Folder Name text box after creating a new folder. The tab button no longer works as of today on Box.com meaning that a user most manually click back into the Folder Name text box before typing.

    Request: make it so that when a user clicks New and then Folder that they can start typing the name of the new folder.
