@mention notifications are sometimes unreceivable
Collaborated users can't receive notifications in some cases when they are mentioned in comments.
Although the article linked to the URL below says this problem is already know, it doesn't tell in what cases this would happen.
We would appriciate if you could tell us when this problem happens.

Delegator Role on Box Sign prior to sending out document
The idea is similar to adobe sign where we can assign a delegator to fields which basically means it forces that person to delegate the document for signature. I know box sign already has delegation which is called 're-assign request' but this is not ideal as some of our teams have noticed where people cut corners and sign on behalf of that person.
This way it can be enforced from the get go.

Data Insights for Box Tasks
I am looking for a way to see a matrix of box tasks for each member of my team with their status, completion, etc. for all members of my team. Ultimately a dashboard view that indicates the number of tasks received, approved, denied, completed, outstanding, and overdue. Alternatively, a data connection to Monday.com or PowerBi would assist in seeing where we are at individually and as a team.

Bulk edit folder settings in the admin console
Grant the ability to bulk edit folder settings in the Admin Console. We recently made changes to our Enterprise folder settings. Updating these settings was not completely retroactive and did not propagate for all subfolders, resulting in either having to update folders individually or using the API. We would like the ability to have a feature for bulk editing folder settings natively in the Admin Console that can be retroactive and will propagate to subfolders.

No "print" option like in Box Notes
There's no way to export or print the Canvas. This ability exists in Miro, so if Canvas were to offer this, we could likely cut out our Miro licenses. This ability exists today in Box Notes, so it would make sense for it to be available in Canvas as well.

Enable option to turn on Optimal Character Recognition (OCR) for all documents
Enable option to turn on Optimal Character Recognition (OCR) for all documents.
This is important for Search and Data Leakage Prevention (DLP)/Ethical Walls.
E.g. a Driver's License, Passport, etc. image gets uploaded, then Box DLP doesn't recognize this today.

Locating who/when files are Moved/Removed (accidentally or on purpose)
If a user moves/renames/removes files, the URLs shouldn't simply be dead links now. Please record information so that impacted users know When the file was moved/removed, and WHO did the action.
I recently had Box Notes and Folders get moved or removed. And while I know who SHOULD have been the owner of the content, anyone else having problems finding the content wouldn't know who to contact.
So if a box link was previously valid, and that content has moved or removed, leaving some breadcrumb for the user, about who to contact, when the content was moved/removed, etc, can help…2 votes -
hidden files
We use Box Drive for Backup purposes (company policy dos not allow any other product for that purpose). Would be great to have a possibility to upload also the hidden config files which are marked with a dot in front of the filename (e.g. .abc-config) using macbook.

Shuttle - add cloud fast path features
As in the Cloud Fast Path environment, Shuttle admins need the ability to
schedule transfer/simulation jobs

Accurate File Count - Script Automation or Access
As I've discussed with the BOX support team, BOX web interface does not display an accurate count of files. We upload thousands of files per day and when the count of files displayed by BOX is not accurate, we assume there was a network glitch and attempt to re-upload the thousands of files which results in unnecessary network bandwidth and computational resources.
The BOX support team has access to a script they run to fix errors in the file count. Until the file count is accurately displayed in the web interface, it would be nice if BOX would automatically run…

Show all uncompleted tasks on iPad
Currently you can only check up to 20 tasks in the Box iPad app.
However, when you are high up in the company, there are many tasks sent to you throughout the day and cannot see all the uncompleted tasks inside iPad.It would be great if you can increase the numbers of tasks shown or show all the uncompleted tasks on iPad too.

The login page I land on does not have an SSO option.
There is no SSO login button on the login page that I land on when sent there from a SLACK link.
Every login page, no matter how I am sent to it, should have identical functionality! Basic coding practice says a feature should be implemented once, and used everywhere. I need to login with SSO. I need the SSO login button on EVERY login page I may be presented.
As a WORKAROUND, I need to remember I need to use SSO, then manually go to another random login page and use the SSO there to get a token .1 vote -

The desktop app should have more settings allowing for specifying bandwidth, as large file transfers can impact the performance of the computers network capabilities

Box app priority
When there is a list of items to upload or download in the desktop app, there should be an option to prioritise certain files otherwise theres a need to wait until the important file is ready to use.

If a user's email address is changed on the management console, please write the changed address.
Currently, when a user's primary email address is changed on the admin console, it is reported as an "Edit User" item in the "User Activity Report." However,
it is not possible to determine whether the "Edit user" item refers to a change in the primary email address just from the display on the report,
so it is necessary to check the email address change notification date and time each time. Please add an item to the "User Activity Report" when you enter your email address on the management console,

Boolean search function to be applicable to tags
Would love to use my Box as a Digital Asset Manager but the tag system really needs a boolean search function.
Boolean searching is used to help find search results faster and with more precision. Boolean searching uses operators: words like AND, OR, and NOT.
We might have to take pour storage else where due the cost of having both a Box account and a DAM.

(API) Add 'can_change_expiration' to the {file|folder}.permissions
We are publishing a 3rd-party app for Box.
A setting has been added to prevent users from changing the expiration date of shared links.
When this setting is enabled, sending POST of JSON containing 'sharedlink.unsharedat' will return a 400 Bad Request error
Please add a 'canchangeexpiration' value to the permissions attribute of the file/folder object so that the correct POST requests parameter can be specified.1 vote -

I'd like to see more color variations (pastel color selection should be available).
