I'd like the trash bin status to be reverted to the previous specification.
Regarding the BOX trash bin, since around August 12, 2025, all files appear to have the "10 years" policy applied to the trash bin, so I would like you to restore it to the previous state.

Drive Map
It would be great if Box offered drive mapping with a drive letter, similar to Google Drive.
We've reached a bottleneck in our workflow because, as a content creation company, many of the applications we use such as Autodesk Maya require assets to be referenced using local file paths or mapped drive letters. Without this functionality, integrating Box into our production pipeline is difficult and limits its use for professional content creation workflows.

Support CrowdStrike integration to GovCloud
Support CrowdStrike integration to GovCloud. Currently the integration with CrowdStrike Falcon only supports the commercial tenant of CrowdStrike and cannot interface with our GovCloud environment.

More visibility of 'find and replace' feature
Regarding the search and replace function in Box Note— beyond displaying it with Ctrl+F, are there any plans to make it more accessible, such as adding it to the three-dot menu (⋯) or another more visible location?

Ability to add email groups to sheild threat alerts
Currently it only allows you to add Box admins to the threat alert notifications. Adding email groups means that you don't have to update notifications when people leave the firm.

User Impersonation Fails Without Explaining That Updated Terms Need Acceptance
When impersonating a user who needs to accept updated Terms of Service, Box simply displays “failed to load content.” There’s no explanation of the actual issue or how to resolve it.
I learned the hard way that I had to log in directly to the account and accept the updated terms before impersonation would work. The error gave me no reason to know that was the required fix.
Please handle this gracefully. Clearly state that the user needs to accept updated terms through a direct login before impersonation can continue. A generic loading failure leaves admins guessing what’s wrong and wasting time troubleshooting an issue that Box should explain upfront.

Box LFO: Folder Locks, Unpredictable Delays, and No Status Visibility
Box’s LFO process is a serious platform limitation. It locks the folder without providing a clear status, progress indicator, or reliable completion estimate, leaving users in the dark.
I’ve spoken with several people at Box, and I still don’t have confidence that anyone has clearly explained how it works. Does the timing depend on the number of files or the total dataset size? Saying “it’s a combination” doesn’t help me predict whether an operation will take a minute or hours.
Why can’t this be immediate, or take at most a minute? In my experience, other platforms, such as SharePoint, don’t present the same issue.
I’d love to see Box fix this, but I’m not optimistic. This appears to be a fundamental platform design issue, and my conversations with Box haven’t given me confidence that there’s a clear path to resolving it.

Add Folder link in Notification
When adding a Notification outcome in Box Automate workflow, it would be good to have the option to add the destination folder or file link in the notification. Currently, it's possible to add only the plain text of the folder name.

We would like to request input validation for Box Forms text fields.
When collecting information through Forms, we want to prevent inconsistencies in text input and ensure that users enter data in the expected format.
Ideally, administrators should be able to define their own validation rules. We would therefore like Box Forms to support regular expression (regex) validation for text fields.

Resize Box AI Prompt Window
Customer would like the ability to resize the Box AI Prompt Window that opens. They use multiple monitors and screens, and need to resize it in order to effectively view the long responses coming back from AI.

Bring Box Relay's Dynamic Approver Selection Capability to Box Automate
We would like the ability to specify approvers dynamically when launching a Box Automate workflow from the "Start Workflow" action on a file or folder.
Currently, Box Relay supports selecting approvers at the time a workflow is started, but Box Automate does not provide a similar capability. In Box Automate, approvers must be defined in advance as part of the workflow configuration, which limits flexibility and reusability.
This enhancement would allow users to select one or more approvers when initiating the workflow, enabling the same workflow template to be used across different teams, departments, and business processes without creating multiple workflow variants.
Business Value
Many organizations have approval processes where the appropriate approver varies depending on the document, project, department, or submitter. Allowing approvers to be selected at runtime would:
- Increase workflow flexibility
- Reduce the number of workflow templates that need to be maintained
- Enable broader adoption of Box Automate across the organization
- Support common approval scenarios without requiring separate workflows for each approver group
Example Use Case
A company creates a single "Document Approval" workflow in Box Automate. When a user selects Start Workflow, they can choose the appropriate manager or reviewer as the approver. The workflow then routes approval tasks to the selected individual(s).
This functionality already exists in Box Relay and would be a valuable addition to Box Automate.

Allow Customizable Page Icons
Add customizable page icons for Box Hubs. Currently, you can only select a single icon and it applies to all pages within your hub. It would be great to be able to customize the page's icon to be more inline with the page contents. For example if the pages is about document approvals, we could customize the icon to be a uploaded image of a stamp.
I think this would make the hub feel much more professional and easier to navigate.

Update search bar to allow search for section headers & page content
We are creating an Onboarding Hub and if a user is looking for a specific page or section it is not possible to simply use the search bar. As of now, you can only find files or folders that match the text.
But what if we want to show the entire hub page's content or a section to them? It could have some relevant information that is not included inside the linked files. This feature would make it much easier for an end user to navigate a hub and would make it much more appealing for various use cases.

Check boxes for Tasks
Not sure if this is Notes or not... but when someone assigns a task... you should give the ability to check them off vs. having to go thru the list each and every time you look for a task. It is VERY cumbersome!!!

Bug: Box AI for Hubs citation links redirect to Hub shared link instead of direct file URLs
There is an issue in Box AI for Hubs where the citation links (e.g., [1], [2]) in AI responses fail to lead directly to the source files. Instead of pointing to the specific file's accurate URL, the links incorrectly direct users to the Hub's overall shared link URL, preventing users from accessing the referenced file.
This bug occurs frequently, especially when a Hub is shared with other users via a shared link.＜Requested Enhancement / Expected Behavior:＞

Bug: New web-based upgdating tool stopped uploading after 600-700 files
I am uploading a folder using the browser. The new API/UI like interface (in a pop-up floating window) shows the progress of uploading, but it stops after finishing around 600 files (sometimes 900 files), and there are errors of rate limit reached as well.
I had to click "cancel all" and then click the resume for incrementally uploading 5-6 files each time, which ended the interface nearly not useful at all.
Previously, with the original uploading floating window, I could just "retry all" and it will finish all work. Now, the uploading process is just hanging somewhere and never gets itself retrying or restarted nor reporting errors.

Adding an additional column in Box to show date of when file was created
I was reaching out to see if there is a possibility to add an additional column in the main page that specifies when the file was created. We had a user request such a thing and we used the admin access to see if there is a way to set this up from the admin console but were unable to find a way to do this on the web version of Box Safety.
And we know that there is a way to identify when a file is created by doing some clicking around, but the user requested wanting to see "file creation date" on this page as well.
I have attached a screenshot of what we are currently seeing.

When a group is included among the collaborators of a Hub, I want to be able to see who is in that group.
When inviting users to a Hub, we sometimes invite them via a pre-created group. This is useful for inviting all related users at once.
However, in the Hub collaborator management screen, although we can see the group name, we cannot see who belongs to that group.
In the folder collaborators view, clicking on a group shows the member names, so I think it would be good to have the same functionality implemented for Hubs as well.Hubにユーザーを招待するとき、グループで招待することがあり、これは関係するユーザーを一括で招待するのには有効です。

Allow for variable date calculation in Automate
The current date features for metadata and variables are quite limiting in Automate. Dates can only be either when the trigger occurred or a static date picked from a calendar. Even with the existence of the Before/After/In Range qualifiers, there are a lot of date related scenarios that cannot be accounted for.
As an example, I have a Box Form where a user submits a file for a translation service and provides some information about what is required. One of these details is what date the user would like the translation to be finished by. In an ideal situation, I would like a branch of the workflow to trigger if the date the user selects is less than 4 weeks from the submission date of the form.
Essentially, I'm looking for more dynamic date ranges. Something like "Within [x] days of [date]." The current "In Range" qualifier gets close, but falls short because both the start date and end date of the range have to be explicitly defined.
