Save Signed Box Sign documents back to Salesforce.com Files object
Box Sign has an integration for Salesforce.com but it really does not save much real effort because the integration is not complete. Box Sign really needs to integrate with Salesforce's Files object as Salesforce.com is the system of record and therefore needs the file Signed version of documents.
In an ideal world, Box would be able to both pull documents from the Files object and save the Signed Document back to the Files object in Salesforce.com (but while you are at it, you might as well make it configurable to Documents, Files, or other file repositories in Salesforce). Otherwise the process is download the file from Salesforce, upload the file to the Box widget in Salesforce, set up the document for signature, send to customer to sign, once signed, download from Box, upload back to Salesforce.com Files object. As you can see this is a ton of steps and makes it far less useful as a Integration, you might as well just use Box.com in this case (so what is the point of the integration at that point).

Stop or modify instant suspension of new user email addresses on account setup, or give admins access to your blocklist
When a new user account is set up, a confirmation email is automatically sent to the login address for the account. Currently, if this message is bounced, the user's email address is immediately placed on your block list.
So - I create a new staff email account in 365, then use that email address to set up a Box account. Box immediately sends a confirmation email message - but 365 is having a slow day and the gateway hasn't yet caught up with accepting messages for that address. The confirmation message is bounced, and the user's email address is immediately placed on your block list.
The problem is that I (as the Box and 365 admin) have no way of knowing this. Box does not inform me that it has happened - it simply offers me the option to resend the confirmation email, and does not tell me that this option can never work because the address is being blocked behind the scenes. So I waste many hours trying to trace the messages in 365, and to find out why they haven't arrived. I resend from Box several times, with the same result.
This is stupid, in three different ways:
1: When sending email messages of any kind, all sensible systems wait and retry at least once before deciding that the message has failed. Why doesn't Box do this before placing an address on a hidden blocklist?2: As admin/co-admin I really need to know when one of my user account login addresses is being blocked by Box - but I have no way of finding this out.
3: As the Box account creator, I really need to know when the confirmation email message has bounced back, because it means that the account creation has failed and the user will not be able obtain a password, even if I try (apparently successfully) to resend the confirmation. Your system does not notify me when it blocks an account signup email address.
Please implement at least one of the following:
A: When a confirmation message for a new account is bounced, send a notification to the admin/co-admin who tried to create the account that this has happened, and how to resolve it.
B: When an email address is being blocked, it makes no sense to present admins/co-admins with a link to send any kind of message to it. Please stop doing this.
C: When a new account confirmation email is bounced, please wait 15 minutes and retry before blocking the address.
D: Give admins/co-admins access to the list of emails in their domains which are on your blocklist - even if this access is read-only. At least then they can see what the problem is, and contact support to have an address removed.

Lock folder order in All Files
Prologis would like to be able to create a static folder view in All Files. Defaulting to most recently viewed makes it difficult to find things. It would also be helpful if the file names were larger.

Bulk add users approval task
Prologis uses approval tasks on a monthly basis to approve a specific dataset - 20 people need to approve it each month. They would like to have the ability to search people more easily when creating a new approval task, or duplicate the group of approvers more easily. It would be helpful if it was easier to add approvers in bulk - right now, when adding users in bulk, if the first signer approves, they can approve on behalf of the entire group.

To retain Tasks even after "task-related user" is permanently deleted
Currently, if a user is deleted, all of his/her related tasks will be deleted after the user is permanently deleted. Although task activities like approval and completion are recored in the admin reporting, it is not user-friendly and is unintuitive.

Ability to rearrange the image files displayed on Box Drive and Box Web
For image files (photos), such as jpg and png files, there is a Date taken item in the "Properties".
On Box Drive and Box Web, We wants to organize the photos by descending or ascending order based on the Date taken.
However, since [Box Drive] and [Box Web] do not have the Date taken attribute, files cannot be organized by the date and time they were taken.
Thus, we would like you to add the Date taken attribute.22 votes -
URL to open folder or file by full English path name.
Box allows me to create named folders and files. Box SHOULD allow me to use a URL to get there? The File ID is visually useless. Box should store the English name as an alias to the ID -- and allow this feature. I am astonished this wasn't a base product feature. I'm also astonished you haven't added it as it's clear in the feedback from others it's WANTED. Shame on Box for not providing this feature.
In the meantime, I'll be forced to find another cloud-based file storage solution.

Create a Box Sign add-in for Outlook (Integration)
It would be great if we could use Box Sign within the outlook or other email platforms like one would be able to use docusign or adobe sign. It would allow people to sign documents more easily rather than having to navigate to a specific file in box to sign. It would also make signature requests a lot easier if we can do it within an email in outlook.

Create a subflow for rejected files in Box Relay
In Box Relay, when an approval task occurs and the file is rejected, there should be an option to create a subflow for the rejection. Right now, we can only set-up a task or do nothing.
We use metadata to categorize our files and trigger other relays. Right now, both unprocessed files and rejected files have no tag, because the rejected task workflow does not allow more actions to be taken on the file.
We would like to be able to create a general task for our users, tag the file, and move the rejected file to a separate folder, so the intake folder is not cluttered.
Right now, this is a manual process and since we're backlogged, it takes hours to clear hundreds of files, because there's no way to distinguish rejected files from unprocessed files without going in and reading the comments.

Enable the Translation function of the web browser in the preview
Edge and Chrome have a web page translation function as standard, but Word, PPT files, and PDF files displayed on the Box preview screen cannot be translated.
This is a real challenge for companies with employees of many nationalities.1 vote -
Box Shield Delete Restriction Security Control
Adding an additional Shield security control to restrict the ability of Editors to send content to Trash would be a great way to fill the gap between Viewer Uploader and Editor permissions. One of the primary use cases for Viewer Uploader is the ability to collaborate on content without being able to delete that content but in its current state, Viewer Uploaders are also restricted from other important collaborative features like inviting collaborators.

Prevent BoxRelay from creating a new folder with the same name
When creating a folder in BoxRelay to store files, if a folder with the same name already exists, I want the files to be stored in the existing folder without creating a new folder.

Add .dwl files to ignored file type list
Would really appreciate .dwl files (temporary files created by Autodesk apps) being added to the Ignored file type for syncing in Box Drive. Currently .bak files are there which within Autodesk apps we have the ability to repath anyways. With .dwl files, we have no control... they go in the same folder as the file. They are not always deleted as they should be due to Program crashes and end up cluttering the folders needlessly.

Ability to lock file to prevent other users from editing a file
Lock and Unlock feature: The lock feature should be set so that when the Person A locks a file so that they can work on the file, it should prevent the others listed on the Share from being able to Unlock the file. It defeats the purpose of locking the file if someone else can just unlock it while Person A is still in the midst of editing a file. The only person outside of Person A who should have the option is the Owner and Co-owner of the Box folder. All others like Editor, Viewer etc, should NOT be able to Unlock a File locked by Person A.

Improve messaging when moving folders between owners
Currently in the web app, a co-owner of a folder is able to move that folder to another location with different ownership. It makes sense that this is allowed and I don't want that to change. However, when the user does this action, they are presented first with an error dialog that suggests the action failed. If they click the "Details" button, they then see a confirmation dialog that ultimately lets them complete the operation.
I think a confirmation dialog is appropriate, but it should be presented to the user immediately and not hidden behind the initial error dialog.

Preview Accuracy
I understand that preview currently can not guarantee perfect accuracy and failing perfecting it which is the ideal solution, we'd like to be able to use MSFT online with read-only privileges. This would enable users with read-only access to still see the content displayed correctly whilst not being able to make changes or download.
