Ability to set Default Collaboration Role to Viewer-Uploader
Please allow the ability to set Default Collaboration Role in admin console to Viewer-Uploader.
Currently the only options are Editor or Viewer. Editor is too much access as a default and Viewer is too limited. Please provide Viewer-Uploader as a third option or to replacement Editor role. Viewer-Uploader is a safer option as a default as it allows everything Editor role does except delete. Users are not being mindful when they share content and our support team spends time doing search and rescue. If Viewer-Uploader were the default, safer environment and Box will have better appeal.

Improve Gmail Integration
I was hoping that the integration with gmail could be as robust as it is with outlook. I really enjoyed the features of the outlook Box integration and now that I'm on gmail it's a huge step backwards.

Improve the Box for Slack to have the ability to save messages in Slack to Box
My company's Slack has a 1-year retention policy and messages are to delete within 1 year. I would like to archive messages in Slack to Box (in any searchable form e.g. text, word, BoxNotes etc).

Improve reliability of email upload
Email upload can sometimes get delayed. Most of the time upload is completed relatively soon, but sometimes it takes hours to complete. We want this feature to be more reliable and predictable.

About the uppercase / lowercase letters of email address at the time of invitation

I would like to set an account to be recognized as a registered account regardless of uppercase / lowercase letters of the email address.■Background
When specifying a collaborator, if I specify a managed user whose email address contains uppercase letters, in lowercase letters only (or vice versa), the globe icon may be displayed (= displayed as an unmanaged user).In the Collaborator list after the collaboration is completed, it is automatically corrected on the Box side, and the globe icon does not appear.
However, by displaying a globe mark when specifying a collaborator, it may cause confusion that the user who specifies a collaborator recognizes as an unmanaged user, so I would like to avoid it.If I type in an email address character by character, the user will be suggested regardless of uppercase / lowercase letters, but I often use the method of copying and pasting an email address, so in that case, their Box account will not be suggested.
I would appreciate it if you could consider the above.

Enhancement to the copy link feature for videos
Is is possible to add the feature to copy link at current time in video on BOX ? We can send the link with this feature and the receiver will be able to open/launch the video at the right place with the click of the link (mm:ss).

Visual colour reference on files as a label
We currently use another cloud based system for image approval with a creative team. We are currently looking at moving this service over to box. Currently to approve reject images the team use labels. As a creative team they love labels as they are visual. A basic dropdown you can select against the image or multiple images that are colour coded without having to go in any sub menus to apply. Is there any plan to add a label function in box. Or is there one already that I’ve missed. I understand you can use tags/Meta data to do this but, there not as visual as a colour coded label as a quick visual reference

Ability to whitelist files(sha1) from virus detection
Please consider to have an option to add whiltelist of files (sha1) so that it won't be show up as an unsafe file from virus scanning.

Box Drive Backup Controls
Please allow me to use Box Drive to backup files to the cloud (not sync them). Allow me to designate folders where I add files that are (a) added to the cloud and (b) removed from local storage. Allow me to choose when the removal happens (e.g. every night at midnight).

Use of iPad’s Markup for annotating. Box’s implementation of annotations is poor.
iPads have a built in document markup function for annotating documents, it’s tragic that Box doesn’t permit this tool to function.
My current work around is to copy the file to my iPad then use Markup to annotate my document, then finally copy the annotated document back into Bix.

How does "Restore All" in Trash work?
From my testing, it appears when you have a bunch of content deleted out of order (from bottom up rather than top down) in your trash and you click "Restore All", Box will not automatically restore everything back in the appropriate order, but rather will start restoring until it reaches an item without a parent folder. It will then initiate the "The folder(s) where one or more of the selected items were originally located no longer exist" pop-up. Is this expected behavior? Setting up Box Edit to open in multiple applications
Currently, when editing a file in Box Edit, there is only one application based on the extension that can be opened on the desktop.
If you want to change the program selected by Box Edit, you need to change the registry value (HKEYCLASSESROOT\SystemFileAssociations).
However, depending on the user's environment, registry operations may be blocked by the administrator and cannot be circumvented in this way.Can you please develop a standard feature that allows multiple applications to be selected when opening a file in Box Edit?

2-factor authentication enforceability
The 2-factor authentication that Box.com currently offers for Enterprise accounts is only applicable for unrecognized logins. Would it be possible for Box.com to offer 2-factor authentication for every login in addition to the current unrecognized logins as an improvement/enhancement in the future release. This would help choose which feature customers want. If a customer wants to strictly enforce 2-step authentication with every login, it would help to have that option available as with the current option, it is not possible to do so except for unrecognized logins.

Provide a separate label that feeds the "Metadata" tab in search UI on creation of a template
When user clicks on search options in the web app and on the metadata tab on choosing of the template the UI generates a Form to provide the values for the metadata properties. Today the Web App shows the Metadata Properties label defined during the creation of the template. Sometimes these labels do not read well during search. Example: If the label says "Closed Record Date (Required)" when capturing the values in the template it makes sense but when searching the word "(Required)" is feeding wrong message to user. So provide another label when creating metadata templates for each property that would only apply in the context of the search by metadata.

Metadata removal confirmation message verbiage update
When trying to remove a template from a file or folder, the buttons say "Remove" but the confirmation message says the word "delete".
"Are you sure you want to delete <Template Name> and all its values from the file?"
Please change that to "Are you sure you want to remove <Template Name> and its values...

Calendar Widget UI enhancements
The today date/selected date in calendar widget is not highlighted enough and makes it difficult for users to view. Suggest to add a square box or additional contrast to make it clearer to the user.
