Box Drive folders should automatically refresh when you open them.
When you open a folder in Box Drive, it should automatically refresh that folder. There's no scenario where you're opening a folder and you WANT an older version of it. If you're opening it, you intend to interact with it somehow, and in order to do so effectively you must have the most up to date version of its contents. Manually refreshing is tedious.

Visualize the description field on the metadata input screen
Currently, when you open metadata attached to a file, the description field is not displayed and you cannot view it unless you hover the cursor over the item.
When entering metadata, you want to refer to the description, so it is inconvenient that the description disappears when the cursor is not over it.

InTune MAM integration with Box issue
When Mobile Application Management is enabled for Intune, if the default email address does not match the Intune email, then authentication fails, breaking authentication for all users.
It seems a failover to the secondary email (which matches Intune) should be a given, and in my experience in product support should be quite easy to implement.

Let users use password managers
Hey Box frontend developers,
Your half-baked implementation of a password strength checker (e.g., zxcvbn or a custom regex), and then tying it to events like keyup, keydown, or input prevents users from using password managers. So now I'm using a really simple password that I can hand-type because you disallow pasting and (poorly) implement live re-validation.
Congrats, your site is now less secure.

Automatically add Office Online to a user's account when they attempting to open file there
When users navigate to a file and attempt to open it via Office Online, if they don't already have the Office Online integration added, they are not prompted to manually add it (like a user is prompted to download Box Tools).
Having a direct link to add box for office online so that users can themselves add this app like you see for Installing box tools will save users time, reduce internal IT tickets and requests for the admin to take care of, and allow for easier adoption of the integration by end users.

Support "Box Tools" on ARM, Snapdragon
Support ARM, Snapdragon processors for "Box Tools" since many manufacturers are building devices using this CPU. The requirements listed in the Box Requirements article here; https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697634-Understanding-System-Requirements-to-Use-Box-Tools-v4

New Content Manager Feature Parity
The new content manager UI could be improved by having the following features that were possible with the old content manager:
- Folder Properties: For a folder, the old UI shows the number of collaborators, and lets you dive in (properties, general info) to see the size of the folder (in terms of storage).
- Copy: The old UI lets you copy the name of the item (super-helpful).
- File Properties and Version History: The old UI lets you see the version history and access stats for a file.I like the fact that the new UI searches Box Trash, and I prefer the way it shows collaborators (if you want see/modify the actual list).

Unsharing subfolder
We should be able to remove access to a subfolder without it affecting access to the parent folder. I understand cascading permissions from parent folder > subfolder, but it definitely should not be the other way around. Currently, we have a parent folder with tons of different subfolders underneath and when we create a new private subfolder, rather than having to un-share the parent folder with someone and re-share all folders except the private one, we should just be able to un-share the private subfolder without taking away access to the entire parent folder. This is a huge time-eating hurdle for us, so if it were fixed it would be a big improvement!

Prevent file duplication when using template and file replacement
Box Sign allows the creation of templates that replace the underlying document within a signature request / template while keeping the existing field placeholders in place.
However, using a different document than the pre-set document will result in duplicate files identical to the original document in the destination folder of the Sign document.
This means that one unnecessary file is generated each time the template is used once.
If a template is used 100 times, there can be as many as 100 unnecessary files!
Of course, this will not occur if no files are replaced. However, it is common to replace an existing document with another and use the Sign template.What we really need is a Sign template with the following items set without the documents.

-Recipients
-The save location*The save location should be freely specified, not be the same as the template storage folder.

BoxAI citations should go to that part of the document on click
The inline citations are nice, but often they just show the information on hover. Then I often need to find keywords and search through the document for added context. I'd prefer that if you click on a citation, the document on the left actually scrolls to that part of the document.

We would like to have a setting to control the ability to create shared links in Box Drive.
Currently, users can right-click on content in Box Drive and generate a shared link from the "Share" menu. We need a way to disable this functionality through administrative settings.
When creating a shared link from the web, it is possible to confirm that the shared link has been created by an icon,, however, when creating a shared link from BoxDrive, no icon is displayed, making it impossible to know whether a shared link has been created. Therefore, we want to prohibit creating shared links from BoxDrive.

Ability to create custom Classification Label Data Types
Have the ability to create a custom classification label data type, e.g. to recognise a particular number format such as xxxxx-xx-***-xxxxxxx-x
This would enable us to classify documents containing particular account numbers or staff id numbers that don't match the current pre-built data types.

Records management certificate of destruction
In order to support a variety of compliant content management use cases, GxP validation, and fulfill various audit requirements, Box should provide business-centric proof that a record (one to many files with versioned metadata) has been properly disposed according to a retention schedule. Business leaders engaged in a GxP audit need more visibility into records beyond what is available in technical solutions like the Event Stream API and / or Box admin-level reporting.

Can we have an employee version of the Box AI that has access to all generic Box notes for employees and Confluence pages. This will speed up the process of getting answers to internal employee questions.
