1. Get a Link in Microsoft Teams integration

   Playing with Microsoft Teams, I discovered that for files stored in the generic/default section of Teams, you can "Get a link" to copy the hyperlink for the file to your clipboard. When I add the integrated Box storage feature, though, files there do not offer the "Get a link" option. It really needs it, otherwise convenience will steer people to NOT use Box for storage.

2. Box Community Username Creation

   This is just a small nuisance, but when logging into Box Community, the site takes credentials from whatever user you are logged in as in other tabs. Including any users that you're logged in under the admin console with. It often asks you to create a username as the user has not created a box community username. Additionally, are no options to view what email address it's asking to create a username with. More often than not we end up creating a bogus username just to get the thing to go away, as the end user would rather approach us than use box community. We thought this would be a chance for some feedback there.

4. Fix blurred text when zoomed in on browser

   I'm always at 110% zoom on Box in my web browser because it's much easier to see the text that way. But, I've noticed pretty much all the text looks a little blurry, especially when opening a dropdown menu or popup window, and mousing over a button. Could you please fix this and make the web browser app more responsive?

   Prepare two users
   One is enable Automaticaly accept incoming collaboration settings, one is disabled this setting.
   create folder
   Share the folder and send an invitation to those 2 user
   Please type any Massege(Optional) like this:

       this"
   

   The user who is enabled Automatically accept incoming collaboration settings received the message by email like this.

   "Please take a look at this."

   Therefore line break should be reflected

7. Please add ”LIKE! or Stamp" feature (Just like facebook and slack)

   Me and my colleagues want this feature, to show gratitude to the person who created the content.
   After new feature "Feed" has released, in my team, sharing the content become more effective. We can notice the new documents and see and use or give he/she an advise. which help our team really a lot. However, I cannot show gratitude to the person who created the content... so I am using slack to say thank you...

8. Box Sync: Sharing file Message box character length too short

   When sharing a file; in the Message (optional) text box please list the max amount of characters that can be entered in that box. Also, can we increase the number of characters in that box to maybe around 400? It was recently decreased and is now effecting my ability to do my job.

9. Add option to cancel workflow, move files to trash automatically on reject

   On rejecting, the workflow options are to go back to a previous step or to complete the workflow. However, if you reject, you may want the workflow to end and if the file has been rejected you certainly don't want to save it to the approved files directory (this has happened to us recently and caused a problem with a customer). On rejecting there should be a different option - to cancel the workflow and trash the files or auto-select a "rejected documents trashbin folder" in order to avoid accidentally saving rejected files to an approved files directory. This sounds nuanced but actually I think it is a major missing feature.

   On rejecting, the workflow options are to go back to a previous step or to complete the workflow. However, if you reject, you may want the workflow to end and if the file has been rejected you certainly don't want to save it to the approved files directory (this has happened to us recently and caused a problem with a customer). On rejecting there should be a different option - to cancel the workflow and trash the files or auto-select a "rejected documents trashbin folder" in order to avoid accidentally saving rejected files to an approved files directory. 10. Pop-up message when not able to copy ALL data

    It would be strongly needed a pop-up message that informs the user when Box stops copying the data and an information on which data has been copied and which not.

11. Enhance API for group membership search

    Current implementation of user group membership search is very inefficient.
    both
    api.box.com/2.0/groups/GROUPID/memberships
    and
    api.box.com/2.0/users/USERID/memberships

    Right now we have to search for membershipId for given groupId and userId .
    Our customers have thousands of groups and users.

    Ideally we should fetch membership info like
    GET api.box.com/2.0/group_memberships?groupId=<id>&userId=<id>

12. New "simplified link"

    I hate the new "simplified link" deployment.

    When I post a new file online to make it available to one of my clients, I simply copy and paste the link into an email I send them. With this new deployment, the shared link must first be enabled (it is disabled by default). This means you've just added at least a couple of additional clicks to my work flow each and every time I send a link to a customer. One or two additional links doesn't sound like much, but when you do it hundreds or event thousands of times over the course of a year, you've just added an additional thousand or two thousand clicks to my workflow each year. I am not happy. As someone who likes to work fast, this clumsy new work flow is enough to force me to start looking at alternative providers to host my file sharing.

    Why can't you just give us the option to leave the Shared Link ENABLED by default, instead of making us enable it each and every time? What a pain **********!

13. Ability to hide tags, and icons such as the sync icon, shared link icon, and comments icon in the user settings.

    I am asking as it makes the view very busy with all of these icons present and it would be nice to have a filter option with the view.

    I have in mind users that may not as tech savvy and can overwhelmed by the number of visible items.

14. New field that indicates whether that specific folder has any collaborations of its own, i.e. not inherited from a parent

    We have a big problem on our hands when it comes to obtaining all of the collaborations a user created inviting others to their content. There simply is no quick way of doing this, especially on users having massive folders. We discovered that the GET action on the /Folders endpoint has an available request field called “hascollaborations” which indicates whether the folder has any collaborations. I really hoped we could leverage this to cut down on the unnecessary calls to the /Folders/{folderId}/collaborations endpoint if the folder being iterated over had no collaborations, but unfortunately it returns “true” even if the only collaborations present were inherited from a parent folder. Unfortunately, because the way our enterprise is structured with all user content nested under root folders, and root-folder-level collaborations issued to our DLP scanners, this has the unwanted consequence of every single subfolder returning a “hascollaborations” value of “true”, triggering us to make unnecessary calls to get the collaborations collection, only to find that none of them are on the specific folderId being processed.

    Please introduce a new fields collection value for the /Folders endpoint that indicates whether that specific folder has any collaborations of its own, i.e. not inherited from a parent? The existing “has_collaborations” field does us no good in its current form, and we really need to figure out a way to gather those collaborations more efficiently.

16. Allow access to embedded file using LEX app (iOS)

    Customer is embedding a url to their iframe. Luckily, they could access the embedded file using their android phones from their LEX application. However, iOS users are not able to access the embedded file using their LEX app. But they can access the URL from their browser

17. Would like a feature that boilerplate to the message box of Send Shared Link

    For example, the customer usually uses shared link with Send Shared Link.
    However, the customer sometimes faces insufficient information.

18. automatically upload photos android

    Be able to automatically update all photos taken on my Android phone to a folder on Box. This apparently can be done with an iPhone through Box Capture, but not on an Android.

20. iOS SDK

    'Mark for offline' capability in SDK. Either read-only or edit-sync is a critical requirement for field worker use cases.

    With current SDK developers need to build this which is expensive and risky.
