    Within the Event stream API, have the ability to filter events by folder ID in the “Get Enterprise Events” API call.

    In addition, add missing data in Response certain event types such as:

    • Folder delete doesn't give file path
    • Copy gives item id of source but not name or link
    • Rename doesn't give source file path

  2. Allow Folder Insights Reporting to download into a co-owned destination folder

    Currently you can only successfully download content/folder insight reporting into a destination folder that you yourself own. I would like to change this so that users can also be a co-owner on the folder to download insight reporting to.

  4. Upload data with binary

    Allow to attach additional data points (metadata) while uploading the binary file to Box.

    Currently we have to make separate API call to Box's metadata endpoint.
    This would be very useful as could simplify our flows and reduce API calls.

  5. A user with folder owner or co-owner privileges outputs a “Collaboration Report”.

    Currently, only administrators can output the "Collaborations Report" .

    In order to see who is collaborating, we want to allow users with folder owner or co-owner privileges can output a "Collaborations Report" for the appropriate folder.

  8. Automatically generate a password for the shared link

    I would like to request the addition of a feature that generates a random password meeting the password requirements on the screen where users create an open sharing link and are prompted to set a password.
    When there is a requirement to set a password, manually creating a password each time can be burdensome.

  9. Direct from link directly to desktop application

    To open a file from a link that is currently a shared link or a link in the URL of a Box storage location, the following steps must be taken
    1.Click on the link
    2.Login to Box
    3.Display the preview
    4.Click "Open
    5.Launch the desktop application

  12. Need ability overwrite the files created during replacement on Box Sign

    Users use a template to sign PDF documents submitted by end users via Sign, replacing the submitted files. This operation is implemented company-wide, utilizing this template-based process. In some cases, there are dozens of submissions in a single day, resulting in a large number of files being generated daily, which has become quite problematic.
    The main problem is that:
    1. There is a template1
    2. I click “Use Template”, then the system creates “template    1copy”
    3. I use “Replace” functionality to change the document, then the system creates two files “replaced    file” and “replaced_file which is a signature…

  13. See folder structure

    Display the folder structure in BoxDrive instead of presenting isolated folders without context.

    For example, if the folder structure is:
    X
    |- Y
    |- Z

    and our access is limited to folder Z, it would be much more intuitive for the interface to display folder X as the main folder, with only folder Z visible inside it.
    This would help provide greater clarity regarding the folder hierarchy and enhance the user experience by offering context rather than showing only folder Z in isolation.

  15. We would like to have the ability to receive a notification after uploading a file from a file request link to confirm that the file was upl

    After uploading from the file request link, "File successfully submitted" is displayed, but it is not possible to check which folder the file was uploaded to and when, so it is not possible to determine if the file was actually uploaded correctly.
    Since uploading from a file request link can be done by non-accounted users, it is not practical to check the destination folder, but we would like to see the feature implemented, since receiving a notification would provide evidence that the file was uploaded correctly, as well as the date and time of the upload.

  16. Update Notification in Box Hubs

    We currently have a limitation with Box Hubs, where there is no feature to notify users about updates to content placed within each Hub. Presently, we rely on traditional portal sites such as SharePoint to accomplish this task.

    To address this, it would be highly beneficial if the personnel responsible for uploading documents to each Hub could also post updates on a dedicated "Announcements Page." This page would be configured by administrators but managed by the respective Hub content owners, enabling employees to view the latest updates at the start of their workday.   17. Prevent users from adding content to the root level in Box Drive

    Our enterprise is set to prevent users from being able to create folders at the root level. This functionality works great in Box cloud app. However the user is able to add content at the root level in Box Drive. This causes sync errors as Box Drive cannot sync to a root level folder in the app.

    Can you consider preventing users from doing this in Box Drive so it matches how it works in Box browser view.

  19. Block users from placing content into File Explorer locations that they don't have rights to within Box

    The current user experience can be confusing to the user, because they are able to place files into File Explorer even though they don’t have rights within Box to write to that location. Box Drive does issue notices that the files are not syncing to the server; however, this can still create an issue for novice users, since the files still exist within File Explorer and allow the user to make changes to the files locally. It would be preferred if Box Drive blocked the user from placing anything into that location within File Explorer.

  20. Box Hubs: Allow search functionality within Box Hubs for users without Box accounts

    Current functionality: If a user without a Box account access a Box Hub through a shared link, they do not see the search bar

    Desired functionality: A user without a Box account accessing a Box Hub will still be able to use the search bar

    Use Case: Using Box as a marketing DAM housing photos. A hub could be used to provide access to approved photos so that non-Box users can search for approved photos they need.
