Prevent each user from accepting invitations without their consent.
【Current status】
Currently, users can enable “Require acceptance when receiving invitations” in their account settings, but the problem is that administrators cannot enforce this.【Background】
Box allows users to easily send invitations to collaborate as long as they have an email address.
This means that you can be invited to a folder without your knowledge, and a mysterious folder can suddenly appear in your top folder.
This creates the possibility of accidentally uploading a file or downloading an unwanted file. The invitations we receive from outside parties can be restricted by a collaboration whitelist in Box Governance, but we do not want to set this up.
This is because it would mean that you would have to apply for whitelisting before receiving invitations to folders from your business partners, which is a hurdle to active collaboration.【Request (same as title)】
Instead, we want to allow each user to confirm for themselves whether or not they are the intended invitee, which is an operation that provides both security and convenience.
If we are able to enforce this acceptance setting on users, we will be able to include in our user manuals a warning on the acceptance screen when an invitation is received and a reminder to confirm that the invitation is from the appropriate party before accepting it.This is a problem common to cloud services with external collaboration functions rather than a problem unique to Box, but we hope that Box, a service suited to collaboration, will take the lead in implementing a solution.

Allow DES files to be synced via Box Drive
We would like for DES files to be synced to Box cloud via Box Drive. They are currently being ignored in the same way PST files are ignored. Ideally, having the ability to enable/allow exclusions would be ideal.

All Files External Shares
Within the All Files view it would be nice to be able to separate and collapse the External Collaborations (Grey Folders) to the internal folders. In addition, make the separation collapsible to clean up the interface and provide a better de-linearisation between internal and external content.

Worflow Starter should be the assigner of tasks instead of the creator/owner of Relay Workflow.
A relay workflow is created by one owner but used by several people. Since all the tasks are assigned by the workflow owner rather than the workflow starter, its confusing for assignees. E-mail and task notifications should show the workflow starter's name instead of the owner of workflow.

Files and folder restore requests to be able to be restored to a different path from the original path
Users can request Box Support to restore deleted files and folders identified in a User Activity Report (UAR) to a different path than the original. This allows users to review and compare folder structures for any missing files and folders, instead of having restored items appended with (1) to the original paths when they have been already recreated.

Bulk send resend options - have to click resend one at a time
If I do a bulk sign to 100's of people and the window for automatic reminders is passed, I want the ability to due a bulk reminder to everyone still in progress. I can filter to everyone still in progress. Just add an option to send reminder to all selected.

Request for improvement of Includes Subfolders feature in User Activity Report
( Japanese follows English)
The support article is as follows, but I would like to request that the Includes Subfolders feature also works and outputs the data in “View” for the following two reasons.
The report output screen does not show the fact that the feature does not work in “View”, so there is a possibility of misunderstanding.
It takes longer to complete [Run] than [View],
Warning:
When the Includes Subfolders feature is on, the View option doesn't work - it doesn't pull events in the subfolders.

Direct Retrieval of BoxItem by Full Path
I would like to suggest a feature for Box SDK that allows users to directly retrieve a BoxItem (either a Folder or File) by its full path in Box, reducing the need for multiple recursive API calls. Currently, to locate an item by its path, I need to start at the root folder and iterate through each part of the path, which requires multiple API requests.
A feature that enables direct access to a BoxItem using its full path would significantly optimize applications interacting with the Box API, reduce latency, and lower the number of API requests needed to locate items, leading to better performance and scalability for developers and Box users alike.
Thank you for considering this improvement. I believe it would enhance the efficiency of applications using the Box API and contribute to an overall better user experience.

view group members without having other permissions
Need the ability to let users view the members of a group without being able to add the group to folders. We have several requests to do this, but changing the View permission from Admin only needs to be separate from 'sharing'.

Shorten/Remove "Copy Link" Delay
There is often a delay when copying links to multiple files/folders in Box. As a result, one link may not be successfully copied even after the green "Copied" notification appears.

Make MPIP and Shield Classification Labels Bidirectional
This make require partnership with Microsoft, but it would be ideal if the MPIP integration was bidirectional. For example, if a file in Box doesn't have an MPIP label, but a Shield classification label is applied, the document would have an MPIP label applied based on the mapping table

As so many deep scan alerts, we can't find alerts detected only by reputation scans quickly.
Add the ability to search for alerts detected only by reputation scans.

Integrate Box for Microsoft Teams with multiple Microsoft tenants
The Box for Microsoft Teams integration currently requires a 1 to 1 mapping with a Microsoft tenant. We would like the ability to enable this integration across multiple tenants while maintaining a single Box EID.

Box Drive & Box Shield
Currently Box Shield classifies copy & pasting within Box Drive as downloading which results in a false alarm notification. It would be great to be able to see the difference between moving files and actually downloading files from a Box report.

Shorten the sync interval between Salesforce and Box permissions
Currently, the synchronization interval between Box and Salesforce permissions is at minimum once a day.
We request that the function be improved to enable synchronization once an hour.
From a security and compliance perspective, we need to shorten the time it takes for Salesforce permissions to be reflected in Box1 vote -
Additional User Details in admin
When a user is created or provisioned, it would be highly beneficial to have the capability to add additional details about the user that can be displayed in the user report. For instance, we would like to include the user's department and their cost centre as two separate fields that can be reported on. This would allow for a more granular level of detail in the user report, making it easier to categorize and analyze user data based on these specific attributes.
Furthermore, it would be advantageous to have an insights chart that leverages these additional fields. For example, a percentage bar graph could be generated to show the distribution of users across different departments. This visual representation would provide a clear and concise overview of how users are distributed within the organization, highlighting any trends or patterns that may exist.
In addition to the department and cost centre, other relevant details could also be included, such as the user's role, location, and date of joining. These additional fields would further enhance the user report, providing a comprehensive view of the user data. This, in turn, would enable better analysis and decision-making, as it would allow for more targeted and informed insights.
Overall, having the ability to add and report on additional user details, along with the capability to generate insights charts based on these fields, would greatly improve the utility and effectiveness of the user report. It would provide a more complete and detailed picture of the user data, facilitating better understanding and management of the organization's workforce.

External Users Count + Quicker Updates
The External User count is inconsistent between the new view and the old view. It never shows the same total number of users. Additionally, this count can also be inconsistent between our admins never showing the same total.
We would like to see quicker real time updates. Data taking up to 24 hours to show here is concerning when we are managing external users in our environment.

Improve JPG preview quality
Attempted to use Box Preview and commenting as an approval workflow. JPGs are not viewed 1:1 and the proxy preview image is too low of resolution. Would appreciate some control around the preview settings, or a higher-resolution preview.

Hubs and Can View Path
Users with CanViewPass enabled cannot select the top-level folder because it is grayed out, even if they want to add a folder to the Hub. If CanViewPass is on, please allow navigation from the top-level folder (adding to the Hub is not necessary).
