Allow Admin/Co-Admin to access shared link basic info
When using BoxItem.Info itemInfo = BoxItem.getSharedItem(api, sharedLink); to retrieve basic information about a shared link, Box returns a 404 when the admin/co-admin doesn't have specific permissions. However, it's possible to see the basic information when you view a shared link report. We're essentially trying to get the same information as the shared link report is able to pull for all files/folders. Discussion of the suggestion is here:

Allow list html tags in custom TOS.

Please add last login date and time on the user management page
Most cloud services offer the last login time and date when reviewing user status pages in admin. A DoD DISA requirement is to disable inactive accounts after 30 days, so it's an industry best practice. Having this information on the user list page in admin would bring Box in line with other cloud services. Thank you!

Support for total_count (Box Metadata Query API)
For the Box search API, return of queried total_count results is documented and supported.
Confirmed total_count is currently not a feature of Box Metadata Query API and anticipating for inclusion of this feature.

Make all files available off line by settings or one click
I want to right click the parent folder in box and have make available off line.
It is ridiculous one has to click on every folder to download it.
I have sketchy internet and NEVER work online (on the web) only as do many others2 votes -
Audit Log for Outbound Email Status
Feature request to allow an audit log for outbound emails sent from Box (noreply@box.com).
The problem: An external collaborator says they did not receive an email notification for an uploaded/edited file. The external collaborator has the proper Box email notification settings but did not receive an email from Box.
Currently, there is no way for us to know with certainty that the email left Box's email server OR if there was an issue trying to send to the external collaborator (e.g. collaborator email is blacklisted due to previous bounces).We can't help clients with issues on receipt of an email, but currently we don't have a way of knowing with certainty our side (Box) didn't have any issues, either. We have to reach out to support.
An audit log allows for client/customer self-service.
A longer term solution could be for automated notifications sent to a Box admin for failed outbound emails.Proposed solution: Add a basic audit log for admins to export the email batch history (Box seems to have a 1 or 5 minute queue for outbound emails).
Logically columns of the export would be:
Batch ID (e.g. 39028)
Email ID (e.g. 448737)
Recipient (e.g. jeff.bezos@amazon.com)
Email Result (e.g. Queued, Processing, Bounce Reason: Blacklist, Bounce Reason: Invalid email, Bounce Reason: DNS failure, Sent)

Request for API Improvement (Folder Move API)
In the folder move API, we would like you to add a function to set query parameters (force=true, etc.) to force execution.
The intention is to be able to quickly and efficiently respond to the necessary operations in "exceptional cases" and "emergencies", ignoring the usual constraints,

Shield Requests
Currently Box sheild has the capability to Scan only newly updated/created files or only if the existing file is modified. In simple terms the scan happens only for the newly created version of the files and not any existing files before Box shield is being implemented.
Feature request:
We need to have the option of Scanning all the files at rest & transit in Box irrespective of when it was created/ modified, etc so that it can detect any malware on already available files as well.
Currently Box only encrypts the file with a red banner on top if malware is detected however we wanted to have an option to Block or quarantine the file in real time if a malware is detected while uploading/downloading a file or if its detected on already available files in Box.

report the file version
I would like to see the log of the file version. Now, I have to check more than 1000 files. It will be good if I can export the data for check.

Custom Columns (with sort) for Users and Groups
The current Admin console defaults to the below columns with no way to customize for better productivity:
Name
Email
User ID
Role
Status
Storage UsedThis request would allow the Main admin account to customize which columns are displayed while looking at your Users and Groups page. These custom column choices can be chosen from the custom Tags (which are already a feature). Allowing important information to be seen at a glance rather than having to go into each user to get additional pertinent information.
Some examples of custom columns may be:
- Cost Center
- Legal Hold
- VIPCustom Columns (with sort) for Users and Groups

Issue with displaying list of invited collaborators
Exposing the list of users collaborating on a folder to users from other companies could lead to a personal information leak. In the future, we would like to make the collaborator list invisible to users outside the company by default. We hope that this will be improved.

Support same user account (E-Mail) across multiple sandboxes
We use multiple sandboxes for testing varying functionality across business units and this requires a new "functional" mail account to be setup for each (which is a time consuming process). We need to be able to use the same e-mail (user account) across all of our sandboxes.

User Activity report to filter Sign activity by folder
When running the User Activity report for Sign activity, you cannot apply the folder parameter. If the folder parameter is used, then the report will generate empty since Sign activity is reported at the "enterprise level" instead of the "folder level."
Requesting that this report allows the folder parameter to pull Sign activity to prevent the need to manually filter the report post-export.

Folders and Files Report - Include Subfolders
When you run the Folders and Files Report, and you filter down to run the report on a specific folder, you are unable to select the subfolders within that folder. This really limits the functionality of this report.
I request that you add the "Include Subfolders" toggle to the Folders and Files report (just as it exists in the User Activity Report)

Super collections
My workplace is too large to come up with reasonable startegies and Box is a bit chaotic. Collections and the My Collections view is a great way to keep my colleagues's work tidy, but it would be nice to have a hierarchy of collections and be able to have supercollections (i.e., collections of (super)collections).

Show on Desktop Contextual Menu Option
A number of users have suggested a feature that they very much enjoyed and used with Dropbox that allowed them to seamlessly work between Desktop & Web.
The feature is 'Open location on Desktop', this would allow the user to find something in the web interface that offer all of the filtering of the web app to locate content, but to be able to simply open the location on the desktop (either via explorer on a PC or Finder on the Mac)

About the expiration time of shared links
I would like shared links to be processed at tenant set times.

Auto-Disable inactive users
Managed Users:
Enable the following feature:Box auto-disables managed user accounts that meet a set threshold of account inactivity. There should be a setting to specify a threshold for inactive users i.e. number of days since the last login.
