Preventing all users with an email address in a managed domain from creating accounts
We noticed that a box.com account was used to create a Box user in our managed domain. Box mentioned that we can turn off auto enrollment which makes all users with a domain email address managed, but we really want to prevent users for which we have not automatically created Box accounts for from making a managed or unmanaged account.
I would like to suggest an additional admin control that could prevent users from signing up at box.com using their domain email address.

Unmanageable API Key Whitelists
Enterprises with a lot of active software development groups have unmanageable API Key whitelists. This manifests in a lot of ways.
There is no way to limit API Keys to development (limit liability). Typical dev-qa-prod cycle requires 3 API keys. No way to associate API Keys to specific projects. There is no way to tell if old API Keys are still in use.

Allow Shield Location Rule Restriction By Folder
Currently Shield's Location Restriction rule is applied to the entire EID by user/groups. It would be helpful to be able to set this up by specific folder(s) or folder structure.
Ex. Team A is not allowed to view specific content while in Location X, however Team B is able to. Currently the restriction would be set on the EID level and both teams would be under this restriction.
We could exclude group B or other groups from the rule however Group A would still be restricted from accessing other content within the EID.

Add an exportable report for External Users
a Download Report button in External Users, within the Admin Console - Users and Groups. There is a button for Managed Users. We need one for External Users that includes who added or invited the External User and when.

Box CLI Email Notifications and Folder Settings
We would like to enable upload notifications for select folders, on particular users or groups.
Currently users need to go into each folder's settings to then check the box for upload notifications, or they can select upload notifications in their user settings.
The first option is very time consuming, we have about 140 folders that we would like to target and it is hard to force employee's to complete this.
The 2nd option removes the importance of notifications if users are being notified for everything.It would be great to have a bulk option to enable notifications or manage…

Folder specific usage reports
A number of our teams need the ability to run usage reports based on the folder in contrast to the typical usage report which is based on the user/group.
We want to store highly sensitive documents in Box but need visibility into this kind of activity. This would also function as a very scalable way of measuring content adoption for the Team Leads.

BOX should give us more options to work with subfolder access
When you give the Viewer access to a group of people in the root of a structure, you could work with subfolders by 1) removing some people from access specific subfolders or 2) changing the type of access specific person would have. For example,
1) I have specific content that should be restricted but need to manage it in a single place. If I try to remove a person from a subfolder, it will remove this person from the whole structure.

Out of Office Setting for a user profile
People go on holiday, and people have specific notification settings set for themselves.
So it would be a nice feature if a user could have a setting in their profile that redirected their notifications to another BOX user or group for a period that they set in their profile. Also remind them when they login that they have the setting turned on as to not redirect for longer than required.2 votes -

When multiple people are selected for an approval task, you can select the approval order.
The task function is often used for document approval work, and there is a need to be able to set up a flow all at once so that documents are presented in order of higher rank, such as group manager > department manager > division manager, etc.

Limit editing to 'On the Web' only or blocking box sync form folders
We have Excel files that a group of users over 8 different sites make moves adds and changes every day. we have box sync which doesn't lock the file, the agreed access for these teams is via the web and web excel only... But some users who know better only use excel via box sync so we end up with errors and staff saying box is no good...

Allow groups to be specified as 'notified to' in Box Shield Threat Detection Rules
Only user accounts can be specified for the 'Notification Destination' of the Threat Detection rules in Box Shield.
Since maintenance is required when the person in charge changes, it should be possible to specify a group.■In Japanese：

Make it more clear to a user when they invite a company domain that does not have a Box account
Customers have mirrored their email groups (example would be a company-all-hands@company.com email list) to Box Groups. Their users typically type in the email address itself in order to attempt to collab the group onto content, but since the email address is not associated with a user, and we can't tie an email address to a Box Group, it sends a pending invite to that email address to create an account (which won't get created and doesn't work).

Log in as “AutomationUser” from the new UI Content Manager
Content: Currently, it is possible to log in as a proxy via the Content Manager of the old UI, but it is not possible to log in as a proxy on the new UI.
If the user is a managed user, you can log in as a proxy from the "Users and Groups" screen, but since AutomationUser is not displayed on the "Users and Groups" screen, you will need to log in as a proxy from Content Manager.

"Virtual Documents" / Groupings of documents that together form one master document
Box should have the ability to get documents together in a collection. This collection should then be versionable, regardless of the versions of the documents.
Thinks a personal dossier. Some documents might update a couple of time, before I declare the whole dossier as a new version.
Tools like documentum have a concept of virtual documents. My opinion to those implementation is that they are really bad from a user perspective. Therefore we should do it better.

High Security Permissions Risk with Box Teams Integration on Private Channels that gets Box folder Auto-Created
Box support needs to address this error immediately.
Currently, Teams Private Channels are not supposed to have the ability to add the Box app. The behavior we've seen is that if the private channel already exists prior to adding the Box app to the Teams group, the Box app gets added to that private channel as well where it auto creates a Box folder. It works if private channel is added after Box app has been added to the Teams group.

Need to have the ability to share links with "Invited people" in organization and to external people in named specific domain.
We have a need to keep folder collaboration available to only a specific group of internal users but we would like to be able to have the ability to share files or folders with external collaborators in specific domains. Almost like another level of the "Invited People" type of link. Can this be considered as an enhancement?
