Custom color change setting on individual files
Just a simple custom color setting on files would be excellent. The standard purple that Box uses to display the file type really clashes with our branding. We are using the embed widget and turned off the Box logo which is really helpful, but when the audio file plays it shows up purple and does not look custom at all.

2. Create a box note with the original details from the meeting invite (description, date..etc)
3. Fill the box note with a template for taking notes during the meeting
4. Use AI to create a 'suggested' meeting agenda based on the data gathered
5. Invite the users from the participants list as collaborators to the box note

Download Collaboration
Uploading a file from a web browser
I would like to have the ability to automatically download a file uploaded from a web browser on a different computer.
This will greatly help in improving the efficiency of indirect collaboration with other software.- upload a file (csv) from a browser (chrome) to Box on computer A. 2.
- PC "B" (Win11) has a software program installed on it, and the csv file is imported by the software.

Improve Print to PDF conversion to avoid extra pages
When sending single page .tif files to print as .pdfs, Box web app conversion scaling creates extra pages due to imperfect margins. Manually adjusting the scaling down to 70% brings the image size down to fit on a single page.
We would like to see either improved automated scaling or a way to set a default scale in the Admin Console to avoid overburdening end users having to set the scale by hand every time they need to print.

Box Device Trust Domain Requirement Azure AD tenant ID
Really simple suggestion for documentation and the Device Trust config page. In December 2023, for companies with no local domain but using Azure AD , I needed to fill in the "Tenant ID" into the Device Trust policy domain requirement field in order to successfully connect. I grabbed mine from my Microsoft Entra overview page, but there are other ways to get it like running "dsregcmd /status" on a joined laptop.

Create Annotations/Markups with Viewer Role with Watermarking Enabled
When Watermarking is NOT enabled on files/folders, users with the Viewer permission are able to markup/annotate without downloading the file. As soon as Watermarking is turned on, that functionality goes away. The only option is to increase their permissions, which gives them rights to upload, which I do not want. Why does this functionality go away when Watermarking is enabled? Is this able to be fixed?

Better (or customizable) bandwidth limits for wedding media companies
Better (or more customizable) monthly bandwidth limits and no transfer speed limitations. I run a wedding media company that does about 200TB of bandwidth/year. Coming from Dropbox, I think there is definitely a vacuum in the market for a cloud company to pick up their slack, especially for wedding producers...

Restrict Access Right to Sub-Folders
Hello,
After creating FOLDER A and SUB-FOLDERS B, C, D under A, along with sub-subfolders E, F, G under B, I granted User X viewer access to A. However, I aim to restrict or remove their access to C, E, F, and G. Unfortunately, this functionality isn't currently available with Box.com. Could you consider adding this feature? Thank you!

Force user email validation for external collaborators
In the case that Person P from Company B is laid off and p@b.com mailbox is turned off , the Box.com External Account is still active with whatever security it had. Person P can keep accessing Box.com and CNMLLP content without CNMLLP or Company B knowing about it. Also, external bad actors can guess passwords and gain access, and there's no visibility. If we can force an external collaborator to click a link in a email, for instance in a browser-initiated Password Reset that sends an email right away, then it proves that Person P still has access to P@C.com…

Enable to obtain information about the uploader of a file uploaded via file request.
I would like to use the Box API to obtain information about the uploader of a file uploaded via a file request.
In the current specification, the "createdby" and "modifiedby" names of these files are both "Anonymous User" even if the file was uploaded by a user who is logged into Box.3 votes -
Ability for Admin to force users to log out
For security reasons, we have made SSO login mandatory for Box tenants.
However, even though SSO login is mandatory, some users seem to keep logging in from their browsers with the IDs and passwords they set in the past.Since it is difficult to identify which users are using Box without SSO login, the administrator would like to force all users to log out.

Box Sign: Provide more guidance to signers without fields assigned
Box Sign is not intuitive enough on how to sign. One client reports: "OK, finally got it. I wasn’t dragging the box onto the document." I had to tell them they had to click and drag the Signature button over to the signature line of the contract. Can you please make more clear instructions embedded into the sign request?

Disable sending the Box sign declined notification email to all signers.
When customer sign the document using Box sign and later when the internal user decline to sign due to some internal business process issues , do not send the Box sign declined notification email to customers.

stop adding bullets to tabs when copy/pasting.
Simple, when copy/pasting, don't add bullets to tabs that don't already have them. Keep all formatting the same.

Bandwith warning
As there are quite dire consequences for overstepping the monthly Bandwith Limit, it would be good to have get some kind of Warning before it happens.
Maybe an E-Mail Notifikation saying something like "you've already used 80% of your Bandwith this month."Or at least have a graph in the Admin Console showing how much bandwith was used that month.

The "Application Restriction" should be configurable with the same granularity as the "Download and Print Restriction".

In the "Download and Print Restriction" section of Box Shield's Access Policy, it is possible to apply download, print, move and copy restrictions to Browser/Mobile/BoxDrive by specifying Managed/Outside Users and Owner/Co-Owner/Editor.
On the other hand, third-party applications are not included in this restriction, and only downloads can be restricted under "Application Restrictions".
We would like to be able to set "Application Restriction" to the same granularity as "Download and Print Restriction, as it provides a more consistent user experience if the same controls are applied regardless of which device or application is accessing the site.

Organizing Shared folders. Can't rely on collaborators to do it.
It would be very helpful if I could move shared folders into a "folder" (choose your term for some thing that would mimic a folder) that would allow me to group all shared folders together. Ideally, I would be able to create my own hierarchy within that folder to be able to organize all of the shared folders how I want vs. just having every shared folder cluttering up my Box root level. I know I can use Collections, however, Collections don't show up in Box Drive.
