I would like to see a button implemented to go back to the original screen from the folder settings and collaborator screen.
When I go to the screen to check folder settings or collaborator in WebUI, there is no button to go back to the original screen
The folder settings screen can be returned to by pressing the cancel button or by using the browser functions, but the collaborator screen can only be returned to by using the browser functions.
I think this is a bad user experience because some users do not know how to go back to the previous screen.
It would be easier to understand if a back button is implemented, so please implement it!1 vote -
Setting Folder Autodelete via API
The automatic deletion date of a folder can be set from the web screen, but it seems that it cannot be set from the API.
Could you please provide the ability to set this date from the API?
We have a process that automatically creates thousands of folders using the API, but since it is not possible to set an automatic deletion date, a large number of past folders will continue to remain.

Folders with a space at the end of the name fail to upload.
When uploading folders, any with a space at the end of the folder name will fail to upload with no error given.

Zoom video recordings archival into Box under closed folder structure.
We would like to have the integration to be able to pull Zoom meeting recording from Zoom and store in Box not only open folder structure but also closed folder structure.

Display more text in search results
I would like to have the paragraph or at least several lines on either side that contains the matched search term(s) displayed in search results. We have a significant number of documents that contain similar verbiage. Having more text from the document displayed in search results would allow users to identify relevant documents without having to open them. The API should also return the same amount of text.

BoxDrive behavior of files with the “Browser Use Only” classification label
We are considering setting up a "Browser Only" classification label for collaborative editing of Office applications to enforce download restrictions so that collaborative editing is only possible in the browser.
However, when a user tries to open a file with the "Browser Only" label, the viewer and previewer will not be able to open the file because of the download restriction.
Also, when opening BoxNote from BoxDrive, you will be redirected to the browser, but Office files must be opened by right-clicking on Box.com and previewing them, and when editing, you must perform online editing.(1) The basic specification of…

Improve the Level of Fidelity of Text Files Preview in Box's Web App
Can Box please improve the level of fidelity of text files preview in Box's Web App? We have reports that are generated as text files, and these reports are formatted (with spaces) so the information is readable and consistent. Currently, our users have kept providing us with feed back that they are having a hard time using Box's file preview when looking at these reports because Box file preview does not keep the format they have, and as result these reports look messy and sometimes borderline unreadable. We are aware that Box Notes, video, audio, Flash, .msi, .exe, .zip, and 3D files will not be available when using the digital watermarking feature.
Currently, sensitive content is stored in a folder with a watermark applied, and users with previewer privileges are invited to view only. However, I am aware of the specification that if you create a BoxNote in a folder with watermark applied, it cannot be displayed in the Previewer.

About BoxSign completion email
The email sent when BoxSign is completed includes the text "Recipients of this email can view and sign documents on your behalf." , so you can view it but not sign it. I would like you to correct this as it is inappropriate as a text for a completion email and may cause misunderstanding.

Box AI works on single documents, but we also want to use it as a file search function across folders and Box as a whole. Prepare documents for signature within the embedded signing experience
My prospect is a software company for freight, shipping & analytics looking to revamp their doc management and eSign process. They have a high volume of docs, like rate confirmations letters, that need to be sent from brokers to carriers for signature. We have run into a technical gap that Box Platform + Box Sign do not have an API for doc prep in an iFrame. Doc Prep URL as it stands today cannot be embedded. Prospect does not want brokers to go outside of portal to a Box URL window.

Add Box AI support for MP4 and other video file formats.
Speech-to-text can be used to "read" the audio of the video. Box AI can then answer questions bsaed on that text.

Box AI window is blocking underlying document
Box AI currently opens in a windows that covers the file I'm viewing in the browser.
Open Box AI in a new window that I can drag to another monitor so I can still see the file I'm using and better form my prompts/questions for Box AI.

When you copy folders/files to another location, we would like to ability to copy existing folders/file permissions when allowed to the copied folder/files.
