View notifications in separate webpage
It would be great if we can view all notifications in one webpage the same as you can do with tasks instead of just a drop down window.

I want Capture to upload photos in landscape direction & be able to edit before upload
Would like to be able to edit a photo on capture before it uploads, for example, crop, flip direction, & add text. Similar to what you can do on Microsoft teams when you send a photo thru chat.
We should also be able to take a photo in landscape mode and have it upload in that direction. Right now if I upload a landscape photo I have to open it on Box and flip it. It's very time consuming.1 vote -
Comment Replies and Thumbs Up/Down
It would be great to give a comment a thumbs up or down and be able to reply directly to someone's comment (ideally showing it indented under the person's comment, not at the bottom of the Activity/comment sidebar). This would help collaboration!

Can't Use Buttons "Under" Green Update Box
Please fix this annoying issue. Currently when I upload a document or rename something, a green update box pops up at the top of my screen. When that confirmation happens, I'm not able to click on anything to the direct left or right of it (i.e. my search bar, more options sometimes, etc.) until it goes away or I specifically click the 'x'. It's like everything is "behind" the update box, and it gets a bit annoying when I'm renaming or uploading several things.

Extension of the "Auto-Delete" Period
The BOX "auto delete" function for folders must accept a period of 100 years. It is currently limited to 85 years and I need to keep some HR files for a period of 100 years by definition of control and security. I request the extension of the term from 85 years to 100 years.

Ability to turn off optional message field on shared link email and add collaborator dialogs
Many customers in regulated industries do NOT like the fact that some email notifications from Box have the ability to enter an optional message that will be included as part of the notification. Because this email bypass the customer email gateway they don't have visibility into what that message is. This feature is a compliance issue and should have the ability to turn it off.
The Box Compliance Email Archive is not sufficient for some customers and that is why one way to solve this would be disabling the feature.

Use customer's own email gateway to send email notifications
Many customers in regulated industries do NOT like the fact that email notifications from Box come from the Box Service with a noreply@box.com email address. The emails that Box sends on the user behalf do not go through a customer's email security or e-discovery system thus it creates problems in regulated environment that need to capture ALL communications between internal users and external customers. Directly to presentation mode for PowerPoint files when clicking on URLS to box
Box should be able to create a URL that will allow the users to display the power point in presentation mode without extra clicks.

Box available as Service on iOS Shortcuts app
Currently in iOS Shortcuts app, iCloud Drive and Dropbox are available, Box should be there too. Will help in automating copying files to Box using Shortcuts on iOS.

I would like a report that includes the URL for folders.
Currently we copy an ID number from our database and go to Box. We then paste the ID number into Box to locate the file we want to work in. I have recently created a field that will hold that URL and at the click of a button, the database will copy the link, go to browser and paste in the URL - a lot of time savings in our workflow. Allow One-Off Reissue of Custom Terms of Service in Box
If a user ever rejects a custom terms of service, they are not able to access Box or attempt to connect via the collaboration link. It seems that they could try again in 30 days (we have not tested, this is way too long to wait for a time-out).
The only resolution to allow the single external collaborator to "reset" the ToS and accept them to sign in is to disable and re-enable custom ToS for all users.

Request for resolving the problem of retrieving group memberships
I wish the following problem will be fixed :
We are able to see the issue when retrieving group membership datas if the group have multiple users having the same name and get membership with multiple offset.
For example, there are two users having the same name and both of users is a member of the group. Admin Reports - User Activity -> Actions needs a field for if the user triggered or an automation like Box Drive triggered
When you see "downloaded" next to Box Drive for the action, you dont know if it was a folder marked for offline just downloading automatically, or if the user is actively opening the file...this needs clarity!

File request link folder-level control
Enable file requests at a folder level to restrict internal-only folders vs. not. There are existing folder-level settings that can restrict external collaboration and what type of shared link can be crated, but the same ones don't exist for File Request links. It would be great to have the same feature parity between shared links and file request links when wanting to restrict access.

Out of office notice
Hi,
it would be nice if we received messages about out of office notes or e-mail errors (wrong address) for invitations and, for example, workflows. At the moment I don't know if someone just didn't respond or didn't receive the invitation / task.

Add option to cancel workflow
Currently there is only delete option to stop the workflow.
Workflows are stalled or stacked as in progress sometimes. We want to assign similar task manually or re-assign the same task to complete the workflow in time.
But it will cause duplicated tasks assigned unexpectedly or file operation (move or copy etc.) is executed twice. This is very confusing.
So we want to cancel the existing workflow before manual workaround.12 votes
