Please make it easy to remove files from favorites. the list is useless now because it is cluttered

File uploads are extremely slow.
File uploads are extremely slow. For example, a group of 3 x 20Mb files might take an entire day to upload on a 5mb.s connection. This has happened in the past 3-4 weeks.
I found the root cause of it. I am in New Zealand and redirected to the Tokyo server, which is very very slow. I verified that this upload path is an issue thus:
Tried to upload a 20Mb file using browser (via Tokyo) - 2 hrs later the file was at 20% upload. Cancelled the upload.

I want the ability to add comments to the version history
Now in the version history you will find the version number (for example: V1,V2...) is currently listed in the version history, the version number (for example: V1, V2...).
We check the contents of V1, V2... in the preview and restore the version.However, as the number of versions increases, it is difficult to find the exact version you need, so please add the ability to add a simple note in addition to the version number.

The download policy of the Box Governace option also detects the synchronization process in Box Sync and Box Drive, as well as the downloading of files when they are opened.
Therefore, it is not possible to detect only those downloads that are intended by the user.

Allow to keep original file name
When a new version of a file is added, the name of the new file replaces the previous file name. We are doing a great effort to apply a naming convention to the department's folder and is a new Document Owner updates a version of a document, the convention is lost, or needs to be redone.

Not a fan of the new main screen
Hi - not a fan of the large blue column at the left - it now blocks when I try to do a print screen of files - I could open up a file and print screen the list within that file - now it blocks a good portion of the left side - so I can't see/print screen in formation.

Improve the UI so that the "Owner" is not displayed when changing the permissions of a sub-folder.
In subfolders that have inherited access rights from the parent folder cannot change the owner to collaborators other than the co-owner.
However, after selecting the folder, select the collaborator shown on the right side of the screen and try to change the access permissions, will visible "Owner" in the menu. And if select "Owner" in the menu, nothing works, which is not a good UI as it can cause confusion when changing access rights.

open a file in a defined app in a folder
i store files in a folder that are simple text files that can be viewed by any text editor. your preview option will not allow me to view them online simply because the extension is not txt.
sometimes its ".dat" or something else, but its still plain text. I should be able to select the viewer in the preview option and not have to download a text file to view it. your ms office word viewer would even allow me to see it.thanks

Whitelisting Access Using Managed User Groups
Companies frequently hire contractors and provide them with company email addresses to access internal networks and applications. This creates an issue with contractors having visibility into an entire folders and not just the projects/folders that apply to them. Shield's whitelisting capabilities allow us to limit external email domains, but because contractors are given a company email domain the whitelisting capabilities do not apply.
We would like to be able to create a "Consultants" Managed User Group and whitelist access to break waterfall permission for internal Managed User Groups.

Bug in Box plug-in for Outlook
There is a bug in the Box plug-in for Outlook - whenever you add a file using the Box plug-in, it removes all the formatting/numbering from the rest of the email. This is quite annoying! Can this be fixed please?

Prevent password reset for managed users
For organizations that require SSO login, we would like to restrict the ability for our users to reset their Box passwords - it causes confusion for our users.

Is there a way to convert the documents to pdf files in Box instead of downloading them and convert them manually to PDF file? If no, can you consider adding it to a setting where this option is available?

Search whitelisting in admin console
When the list of whitelisted domains grow, it is hard in the current display to search or find specific domain.

Fix the display of "More Options" menus from file lists
Clicking the "..." (More Options) menu popup from a file list often results in a truncated menu being displayed, rendering several options unreachable. I should not have to load a preview of a file in order to upload a new version. This is a UI defect.

right click property not displaying properly
This is more of a bug than an idea. But there seems to be an issue when we right click on a file towards the top of the folder and part of the properties go underneath the browser toolbar. Hence we are unable to click on the first few options like open with, share etc. Could it be corrected by making any right click in the top half of the screen to force the properties to flow downwards instead of up and vice versa.

Improve preview window navigation
When checking previews in the Web app the Previous button continuously moves if you go between files that have single or multiple pages. With multiple-page files, a thumbnail pane appears which pushes the Previous arrow around making it a nuisance to preview files smoothly.
Please put the thumbnail pane inside the preview area so the Previous button doesn't jump around. Also, it would be really nice to move between files with the left and right keys on the keyboard, wouldn't it?
