We want group administrators to edit tracking codes
Currently, tracking code information can only be accessed by Admins and Co-Admins with permission.
We wish it was possible to give group admins the ability to edit tracking codes.
Alternatively, We would like it to be possible to be a co-admin while being a group admin.グループ管理者に追跡コードの編集を行わせたい

Box Hubs for CANVIEWPATH users
Users with CANVIEWPATH want the capability to specify folders/files by their IDs when adding contents to Box Hubs. Currently, folders and files under the CANVIEWPATH folder are grayed out and cannot be narrowed down from the top folders.
The only way to identify them is by searching its folder name, which contains the risk of mistaking it with the folders with similar names.
Therefore we request to use folder ID to accuratrely identify and select the appropriate folders.（日本語）
CANVIEWPATHを利用しているユーザーが、Hubにフォルダ/ファイルを掲載する際に、フォルダIDやファイルIDで指定したい。
現在は、CANVIEWPATHフォルダ配下のフォルダやファイルはグレーアウトして上位フォルダから絞り込むことができません。

Make MPIP and Shield Classification Labels Bidirectional
This make require partnership with Microsoft, but it would be ideal if the MPIP integration was bidirectional. For example, if a file in Box doesn't have an MPIP label, but a Shield classification label is applied, the document would have an MPIP label applied based on the mapping table

Ability to upload input spreadsheets to define source and target locations for Shuttle migrations
In the admin console version of Shuttle, it can take up to 10 minutes to load accounts and folders that the migration job is planning to migrate into. This can lead to significant time to create a job and is quite manual.
In the standalone version of Box Shuttle, you could upload a spreadsheet that includes the source location and where it would be migrated into Box. This bypassed the selection of users and folders that can take a long time for our largest customers.13 votes -
Edit files shared on Microsoft Teams chats without having to preview them first
Currently, when a file is shared on a Microsoft Teams chat, there is a sharing card with two buttons: Preview and Edit.
When the recipient of the shared link clicks on Edit first, an error is shown saying "Office Online failed to load", which apparently is caused by the lack of edit permissions to the file. In other words, clicking the Edit button doesn't add the necessary permissions.
On the other hand, clicking on the Preview button works fine and file is displayed as expected. After previewing, clicking on Edit also works because apparently the recipient of the shared link…13 votes -

Ability to exclude files in the files and folders report. This will reduce the excel file size and loading time. Allowing for faster data analysis.

Allow users to set Sort Preferences
Users should be able to save default sort preferences.
Currently I see "Least Recently Updated" documents first, which is never helpful.

Box Shuttle should allow Box as one of the source systems to migrate from
Currently, Box Shuttle standard tooling only supports migrations from OneDrive for Business, Dropbox for Business, and Google Drive as a part of Google Workspace. Box Shuttle should support Box as one of the source systems, so that Shuttle can be utilized for Box to Box migrations.
For example, consider this use case: a researcher is leaving institution A, and their research lives in institution A's Box instance. Their new institution, institution B, uses Box, and they need to get 10 years worth of research data from institution A to institution B's box instance, without having to download and reupload, or…

Folder and file reports are output in a tree format, making it easier to understand the folder hierarchy.
The new platform version of the Folders and Files report is sorted by creation date by default.
This does not fulfill the role of a folder tree report.
If folders are not specified, sorting by all folder/file IDs, etc. into a tree format is impractical and affects business operations(Japanese)

Ability to configure date format in the email notifications
Email notification date – The request is for the date format of this to be set by Admins for an ‘Organisation’ . The current email default is using dd/mm/yyyy which does not help North American users. To get a more universal date it would be helpful to for admins to be able to set another format like dd/mmm/yyyy

Allow Pin Feature to files
Allow a Pin Feature to allow the user to fully customize filing. Make it possible to pin a file(s) in a folder so it will not move in a numerical or alphabetical order but in the order that works for your company or organization.

Hide "editable" so it's not accidentally selected
A feature that allows editing from a shared link has been released.
At the time of release, the settings are released as "View and Download and Editable" according to the Box Note settings.
After the release, the setting was changed to "View and Download Available" in the tenant settings.
Editable" is now displayed when attempting to configure shared links in a tenant environment after settings have been made.We would like it to take over the settings when they are not editable and hide the "editable" setting so that it is not accidentally selected.

Customize Banner notifications in Box web UI
All our users (not just Admin accounts) have been getting more banner notifications regarding new features being rolled out and/or Box events that will be occurring.
We'd like to have the capability to control and suppress banner notifications on the Box web UI.
Features announcements and/or Box events being broadcasted via these banners are not applicable to our users as how they are communicated. It is setting incorrect expectations and miscommunicating what features and functionality we are supporting as an enterprise within Box.

Add More Granular Control Over Group Management for Co-Admins
I have a use case where I have my Marketing Manager setup as a Co-Admin with permissions to edit metadata templates. We'd now like her to also be able to manage the groups that controls access to marketing's folders. The problem is, because she's a co-admin Box won't allow us to assign her as a group admin. The only way we can allow her to admin the groups is to also give her Manage Groups access as part of her co-admin role. Disable email upload notification for users who are uploading the files
We are using Box Email feature to collect all attachments from the important thread. Box sends notification after succesful upload for EACH file. Sometimes company logo in the signature is also treated as an attachment. The end result is too many emails from box.
It will be better to turn off this feature at the folder level. If folder to which the attachments get delivered could select to turn off the notifications, it would be greatly appriciated.13 votes
