When copying a file from another folder in a Box, if the destination folder contains a file with the same name, a message will appear asking if the file should be overwritten.
The message "There is a file with the same name, do you want to overwrite it? and if the user selects "Yes", the file can be overwritten.Currently, the process is: "Add (1) to the end of the copied file"⇒ "Rename the file that already exists" ⇒ "Remove (1) from the end of the copied file".

Working with Mac OS, would like to be able to move content from one folder to the next without it deleting the content from Box as it happens in Windows .

Ability to turn off all suggestion notifications
give me an option to turn off all suggestions for feature exploration. I'm only here to access files and do not care about whatever features are available; making me click 'maybe another time' rather than providing a 'i never want to see a notification like this ever again' option big thumbs down.

Allow folder order preference to be saved by name, ascending
Save my "Files and Folders" sorting preference? I want to retain sort by "Name, ascending" as the default

In-person signing without e-mail address
In in-person signing, e-mail is required even though sender will verify the signer's ID using driver's license,SSN,etc in front of signer.
If signer don't own email address or email inaccessible, you can't create in-person sign request.
For example, hospitalized, elderly people.
It would be ideal if in-person sign request have a option to work without email address.1 vote -
Box Drive support MacOS Monterey
Box does not support Box Drive aliases with Mac OS Monterey. We need this feature back so users don't remove/delete files and folders from Box by mistake.

Specify box drive location and cache location
Enable the option for users to specify Box Drive location.
Changing it in the registry is way too advanced for most users and easily fixable with a build-in feature.
Enable the ability to specify Cache location is also a must-have.
Files flooding my C: drive is annoying to say the least, espacially when working with big files.5 votes -

Bring back WebDav support
Please bring back WebDav support. It had better performance than Box Drive or Sync and was easier to setup for Linux or Windows.

Ability to control roll-out of Box apps
Right now, updates to apps like Box Drive roll-out in a phased approach without any admin control. That means that I have some users on one version and some on another... and the manual download version is the old version so I can't force-update anyone who is having issues and needs to take advantage to a bug-fix version.
If this is difficult, then just post the current/new version as the manual download - problem solved!

Ability to change the URL of the notification email to a URL for each tenant.
I would like to be able to change the URL of the notification email to a URL for each tenant.
In the notification email, click on "Go to My Account" to go to https://box.com.
I would like to be able to change this URL to a per-tenant URL. Example: https://[company name].ent.box.com
Currently, if you are using SSO login or if your firewall controls access by domain, the user accessing the site must manually change the URL.
It takes a lot of man-hours for a user who receives a notification e-mail to follow the above procedure every time, and there…2 votes -
Allow login to Box Drive from different Microsoft account
It used to be possible to log into Box Drive from my work account whilst logged in as a different Microsoft user on the desktop. This has now stopped working and forces login via my desktop account. This means that Box Drive is now completely useless to me.

Having the activity in a document be printed with it or saved underneath. Like a printable view that salesforce has for their items.

Ability to set expiration for file upload actions
I'd like to do 'Set expiration when a file uploaded in a folder' but it seems not possible now. It would be good to 'set expiration' in File Action outcome

Add Data to Workflow API
Add data to Workflow API to identify the status of a flow and each outcome step, when each outcome started (became ready) and completed, and the user who performed the outcome action.

Permissions change indicator
When moving or copying a file or folder from one location to another, provide a dialog before committing showing how the permissions will change.

Change Geographic Activity highlighted country from blue to red
When the geographic activity shows the activity of a country it is circled blue. Can you change the circle blue into something like red because it is sometimes hard to see the circle since the colour is similar to the map.

Mark file as safe across entire enterprise
We have a file stored in multiple (hundreds of) locations across our Box enterprise and it regularly gets falsely flagged as malicious. We mark it as safe each time, for each location. It would be nice if there was a way to mark the file as safe for ALL locations in our Box enterprise at once. The file is identical name, size, and hash in each location so marking it as safe once instead of hundreds of times would be very much appreciated.

An option for Admin to toggle and lock Personal Workspace to NOT share with others.
People use their Personal Workspace to create and share documents with important information. If they leave the company, then those they shared with lost the data (after XX days). SOLUTION: provide Admin the option to toggle and lock Personal Workspace to NOT share.
