Box Note Unlimited Page Width
Right now, the box notes page width is fixed. This is particularly frustrating when creating tables in a box note that needs more than a few columns.
It would be amazing to have the width of the box notes to be unlimited to allow for tables to have many columns

Password Expiration Notice "Prior to" the Date
We would like to see the message like: "Your password will be expired in 7 days". Currently, BOX asks us to reset our password on the day of expiration. This can be a problem especially when we are at airport and try to see box.
At the Admin console, we would like to see "0 day" or "7 days" as options.

Preemptively cache your folder directories.
Some departments have a large volume of folders and files. During first time of loading a folder, the contents appear blank and after 5 seconds content shows up. Sometimes a person needs to go manually refresh the folder list to see the contents. This gives the first impression that Box Drive is slow. Is there a way to preemptively cache the folder directories? We do not mark any contents available offline and would like to keep it that way. Once the folder is listed the first time, all future browsing of the folder is fast.1 vote -
Behavior when searching for and specifying a user name by using the suggestion function in Japanese
If a user wants to email the user with a shared link URL or folder sharing when using Box, and then tries to search using the name of the Box account in Japanese, the cursor must be moved to another location after the first one has been specified. I would like you to eliminate this unnecessary cursor movement and make it possible to search by user name continuously.

Search contents of Box notes (or other documents) even when encryption is enabled
I understand that if data is encrypted outside of Box (as is likely the case for any enterprise user), the search functionality for Box is limited to file names only. Can Box add support for search within documents (Box notes at a minimum, but ideally other document types) even in the case where the enterprise user has encryption enabled? Not having this functionality makes search useless for many of our use cases as a large development team.

Provide access to space used and space available at the Box taskbar icon, rather than having to get into account settings.

Increase size of file allowed to be opened online
We have several large Excel files (example: one that is 16.6 MB) that don't allow for editing/collaboration using Box online. In order to edit it, our team has to take turns: open it in MS Excel and each of us work on the doc one a time. Please allow for larger files to be opened on Excel online since collaboration is one of the hallmarks of using Box for file storage!

search filenames using leading wildcards
Box.com should allow search for filenames of the files that Box creates due to conflicts. The beginning of the filename is unknown but filename ends in email.address@company.com.
Currently, Box.com cannot find all filenames ending in email.address@company.com.
So there is no way to find the files that Box itself has created due to conflicts. We have tens of files scattered on our server that Box created due to network anomalies, and no way to serach for them and reconcile them.2 votes -
hard to ge download button when file is located upper
the new ui s menu is not smart when the file is located upper, the menu is hided by the toolbar of firefox. Please check and fix this bug.

Add the ability to resolve a second or multiple number of subdomains to one box instance.
ie; companymain.app.box.com AND companytwo.app.box.com would both resolve to one managed instance. This would be useful for using shared links and having a drodown or option to use a different subdomain for either a department or umbrella organization housing data for various organizations.2 votes -
"Public" shared link permission to be greyed out on some folder
User wants the "Public" shared link permission to be greyed out on some folder.
To prevent information leakage, I want to set "Public" only for a specific folder and gray out it so that it can not be selected in other folders.1 vote -

pdf on box is downloadable, so the hard work of authors is not protected and can be distributed. Box must prevent this.
I was able to download a protected pdf on box. I obtained it from Cambridge. I am a school teacher, they gave me a box link to their book which they said I can use for a free months. But I was able to download the pdf. Box must make its embedded pdfs more protected to prevent illegal distribution of ebooks.

When sharing a link can the link have the path name in it?
It would be great for shared links if the path was in the link to ensure the correct link is being shared without having to double check it and so the receiving party knows exactly what the link contains.

Visually check the copied or moved items
Currently, there is no way to distinguish between "copied or moved items" and "newly created items" other than in reports.
For items that have been copied or moved, it would be useful to have the option to see the history of those copies or moves in the browser.

We want the history and recycle bin to be able to scroll infinitely.
Infinite scrolling is available when the number of files in "All files" exceeds 100, but the history and trash can still need to be moved by buttons.
Therefore, I would like the history and trash can to have infinite scrolling.2 votes -
collaborate at "all files/root" level
It would be nice if you could add a collaborator at the "all files" or root level, so that they would have access to any future folders created. For example we have folders created for each year and now we have to make sure we remember to add collaborators to the next years folder when it gets created. Versus if we had collaboration at the root level they would automatically be included when the next years folder is created.

Hi, are you interested in knowing about spelling/grammar/usage errors in Box online training, not incl British vs American English?
Grammar and spelling police here. Just wondering if you'd like errors pointed out so you can correct them. Allowing grammar and spelling errors in training materials, especially those offered online, makes Box seem unprofessional and shady -- like a phishing email or letter from an online lottery telling me I've won money. I've found five errors on just the first page of the Get the apps you need lesson, and they're not British v. American English differences.

File Request User Configuration - error messaging
When configuring File Request for "enable for select users", users remain in the list even if they have been deleted from Box. If you try to add a new user to the list, you will receive an error message. The reason for the error is because a deleted user is still in the list, however the error is a standard message and does not explicitly say this. So customers do not know why they are getting an error. There should be clearer messaging in the error so customers know what they need to do.
