Transfer content to manager when deleting via Okta
Integrate with AD such that admins can automatically transfer a user's content to their manager.
0 votesWe have APIs available to select which user to transfer content to. We do not hold any hierarchical data to determine which user is managed by which other user.

Multi attribute check during SSO login flow
We do not currently have a mail Exchange server (we use 3rd party for email). Therefore our ADFS mail address attribute is "informational only" and can be changed by local admins or end users. We cannot rely on this attribute for securely logging into Box via SSO.
WE propose Box change the SSO login flow to have the ability to check for multiple claims, i.e. the existing mail attribute AND another (non-writable) AD attribute which we can trust.
We have one AD but delegate management of users to local teams and manage hundreds of sub-companies (around 600 email domains).

Login with Facebook or Google on the Web App
When a free user initially creates their Box account, they would be given the option in their profile settings to link to their Facebook or Google login credentials.

Localization optional for login and SSO "Continue" page
We are in Denmark, but our official company language is English and we would like to enforce that settings.

thanks for bringing this up!Box login page respects one’s browser preferred language so changing your browser preferred language to English should solve the problem.
As for the SSO “Continue” page, I would recommend you contact your SSO provider and check if there’s a way to always show it in English.

Legal Hold - Cold storage
Ability for a user to delete file from trash but file is still retained (if under legal hold and/or retention policies)

Add flexibility to edit an existing legal hold
We would like to be able to adjust the date of the legal hold or be able to only extract a subset of content within the time period established.

Enhance Word Previews
MS viewer in Box in iOS - specifically the Word viewer. It used to only show the top navigation bar when you long pressed the screen even on the first and last page.
Now the nav bars do not go away on those 2 pages. For docs with very narrow margins at top and bottom and they are only 1 or 2 pages long.

Enable users/developers to set Content-Type header on file download
A user requests you treat .PKPass files with a different Content-Type header on download so the iPhone can handle it properly and add it to the user's Passbook.
However, other users would like to be able to influence/set the Content-Type header when initiating a download.
It would be helpful for folks who are trying to have greater control over the user experience, particularly when there is no baked in support for every file type.

View Access Stats For Contents and Folders from Mobile App
We would like to be able to see Access Stats with in the Box for iOS or the Android application. While this is possible from the web client the iOS app currently does not allow to view access stats.

Block users from taking screenshots on phone when Box Mobile app is open
We are concerned about users taking screenshots of confidential information on their phones
0 votesWe are unlikely to have this feature on our roadmap for a long time. Even if we were to build this feature, users could use other devices to capture confidential information. Instead, we recommend using security tools like watermarking to protect confidential information.

DICOM annotations in platform
Are there any API endpoints available with which we can retrieve the annotations (preferably in JSON format) when passed a .dcm file ID?

Update Error Message When a User Accesses a Box URL for Content They're Not a Collaborator On
When the recipient clicks on this link (the raw URL not Shared Link) and they're not a collaborator in the same folder, they receive a vague error that doesn't let them know what they did wrong that states "You cannot perform this action"

Group collaborations: include information in Enterprise Events about the folder that was added/removed
When a group is given access to a folder (or folder access is removed from a group), Enterprise Events for GROUPADDITEM / GROUPREMOVEITEM should include information about the item that was added or removed, as well as the collaborator level.

Modify Drop Down when Selecting Collaboration Role
Ability to change drop down order to role with "least" rights coming first when adding user to sharing (i.e. default to less rather than most).
