Editable shared link to take precendence over collaborator permission
Collaborator permissions currently take precedence over shared link permissions. As a result, users accessing an editable shared links can't edit a file if they have viewer permission on the folder. In our case, we have an open folder accessible to all staff as viewer with all content accessible from our intranet. We would like to be able to create editable shared link for users to contribute to selected files.

Improve Box Relay Trigger "A Scheduled Event"
Recommend additional options for repetitive scheduled event triggers. Specifically, the option to repeat monthly on days of the month other than first or last, and to repeat every X months and/or weeks, would be extremely useful for automating assignment and tracking of repetitive tasks.

Sign accessible from embed widget
Sign is currently not accessible from the embed widget. This is also not available though the folder view of the Salesforce integration or the Teams integration. It would be most useful if Sign was available in all contexts.

Migration of files larger than 10MB from Google Drive
As it stands, we are unable to migrate content from Google Drive due with there being a HARD limit of 10MB as the max file size.
Google have a workaround which is outlined here - (1) https://stackoverflow.com/questions/55274737/is-there-any-way-download-bigger-than-10mb-documents-using-google-drive-api#:~:text=1-,This%20is%20answered,-in%20this%20question and here (2) https://developers.google.com/drive/api/v3/reference/files/getThis would mean changing the Shuttle tooling so that Instead of using the Drive API Files:Export method, you can use Files: get (2) with fields = exportLinks.
3 votesThe limit on exporting Google files larger than 10MB is imposed by Google. We have reviewed the various available APIs and workarounds, but none of them produced a viable result. They all have other limitations that make them unsuitable for migration.
We will continue to monitor as Google continues to evolve and adapt its platform, and will look to increase this when or if it becomes viable.

Need to add the "Add or Create Folder" button/option just like on the old UI
A HUGE part of our co-admins job is to add folders to managed users accounts. Taking away this functionality is a major oversight and needs to be added to the new UI.

Allow managed users to limit the method of file access on an individual file level
Allow managed users to limit the method of file access and editing through the Box web portal to limit formatting and function incompatibilities between Office Online and Google App Suite.

Survey Making Function on Box
Hello, It would be great to be able to create surveys and receive survey results using Box. That could be through an integration with Google Forms. It would be helpful to be able to create a Google Form within Box and then be able to download the results of the survey into a Spreadsheet also created or saved on Box. Thanks!

Retention policy details in the Trash UI
The Bin/Trash UI displays Retention policy details the first time you trash an item until you navigate away.
Ability to have this info visible at all times in Trash UI would be helpful to end users and admin rather than running reports to check status of a single file.14 votes -
Download One File At A Time
When you choose to make a folder offline (make a folder local) it starts downloading multiple files at once. You should be able to not only download a single file at a time, but also prioritize a file so you can select which one you'd like to prioritize in a queue.

Cancel Download(s)
It's absolutely insane that you cannot cancel file downloads from within the interface. I just started to download a folder locally (make available offline or Download Now option) and realized I didn't need the folder. I cannot cancel it. I have to wait till it finishes to remove it.

File size upload limit - Option to choose any file size from 1MB - 150GB
I am suggesting a file size upload limitation setting to be lower than the existing 2GB.
The reason why is because some companies who are hyper sensitive to malware and virus issues want the ability to deep scan EVERY file uploaded into Box. Currently, deep scan is only able to scan files that are less than 200MB in size. This is a gap that can be solved by reducing the maximum file upload size into Box to 200MB.

Grid View search results are now severely limited
I have discovered that while searching in Grid View, the page will only load a certain number of results, and after that it will not load anything else. It will only load more results when switching back into List View.
This issue seems to have just started after a new update as I have spent the last 4 years with no problems searching in Grid View. I'm hoping this can be fixed very soon because I used to brag about the great searchability of Box folders, and this is now seriously damaging my efficiency in searching.

It would be great to have a report that shows you the usage information of the shared links: How many times the link has been used, which user (if registered) has used it and on which date.

Traffic volume display function
I would like to add a function that shows the load of the connected Box server.
If you're accessing files on Box and your connection speed is slow, you need to determine what's causing the network load. If Box publishes the communication status, it will be possible to narrow down the contact information.

Prefix, Suffix, and related fields in Box Folder Names.
Let's be honest, at the end of the day, people sign up for Box for cloud space and organization. One very big pain point for my company is the inability to apply related fields and/or prefix/suffix's to our folder names. Let's take a very simple folder structure
Parent Folder |Folder A, Folder B | Folder A - 1, Folder A - 2, Folder A - 3 |
Currently, if I wanted to append the {Parent Folder} to each folder within the folder structure, I would have to go and rename each folder individually.

Selecting files on the Box UI
I recently noticed a change in Box in the while you can select files. Before, you can click on a filename or multiple filenames and it would just be a selection. Now it seems to launch the file. If you want to select the file you have to click on the ballot box to the it’s right now. Our team much prefers the previous way before it was closer to how a desktop UI behaves.

File Comments - Proposal to add comment previews in a hoover window
An idea that I have thought about sharing is to make comments visible in a preview window when you hoover over OR when you tap one time on files. This would make it faster for users because currently each files comments are stored within the [!} of each file and only visible one at a time when they are clicked on.
