Metadata immediately is searchable
After metadata is added, there is a lag for when it is searchable. Please eliminate this lag so that it is immediately searchable.

Box Sign - Update default folder that contracts are assigned to on a 1-by-1 basis, group, or company-wide basis.
E.g. I want my default folder to be called "[FIRSTNAME] [LASTNAME] Sign Requests" or "[GROUPNAME] Sign Requests" so that Box Relays are easy to configure.
Rather than every single folder that triggers a workflow being called "My Sign Requests," which makes it impossible to configure Relay Workflows from an Admin level.

Option to remove visible file version tag
We'd like the ability to hide the file version tag both from the list view and preview. The box version does not match up with our own versioning thus creating confusion for end users

"Are you sure" pop-up when dragging & and dropping folders
I'd like a pop-up message confirming if I'm sure to appear when trying to drag and drop folders on the web app. Especially in a GxP environment this is important to reduce risk of human error.

Folder lock API applying to sub folders
Currently when you lock the parent folder via the API, and a user deletes that parent folder, the parent folder doesn’t get deleted (due to the API) but the child folders within it gets deleted.
However, this is inconvenient because that parent folder just becomes an empty folder.
When the user tries to delete the locked parent folder, I would like the API to work to the folders below that parent folder so that it doesn't become an empty folder when they try to delete it.1 vote -
Need to be able to pick my own RBG colors
The color options are very limited. If I were to use this for my company's diagramming tool of choice, we would need to be able to load in our own color palette.

The Connector arrow needs to touch the edge of the Triangle Shape
Currently, when you draw a connector line to or from a triangle shape, the arrow doesn't actually start or end at the triangles border. It appears it just stops and isn't connected because its connecting to an invisible square border around the triangle.

Add a captcha to the file request module especially when the module is available from the public. This will prevent file upload from spam.

Group Creation Based on IdP Attributes
Please allow the automatic creation of groups in Box based on attributes being passed from the IpD. In my specific case I want to limit certain content to students and other content to faculty and staff. Having users automatically added to the group would help manage access to the correct resources.

Relay trigger for Microsoft Information Protection Labels
When a Microsoft Information Protection label is mapped to a corresponding Box classification label, that currently does not serve as a trigger for Box Relay. The relay workflow is only available if the file is manually classified with a Box label, or if it inherits a label from a folder. Being able to trigger really workflows based on MIP labels would add considerable value to the MIP-Box integration.

Grant customized permissions to users/automation process, as per business requirements.
Grant customized permissions to users/automation process, as per business requirements. Restricting permissions completely, cripples the automation system. Create additional permissions or permission groups to manage the Collaboration Space allotted to the client's business.
The client will define the required permission for users, and they will own any responsibility for their resources on Box.
We are performing automation using RPA, with limited access, unable to automate to maximum extent. Cannot be raising tickets with Box team for every activity that the bot cannot perform.3 votes -
Need APIs for auto deletion of files and folders.
Need APIs for marking files and folders for auto deletion in future date. This feature is on the portal, but provided as an API.
Box can add this as an attribute to the file upload or folder creation API. Or a separate folder/file attribute API, so the date can be changed, if required later after its creation.
We are automating activities on Box.com using RPA, the APIs are faster and reusable compared to the UI automation.
Box should introduce APIs for basic features such as this one, so these can be done at the backend and it is more optimized…

Box Report file management improvement
Currently every generated report goes into Box Reports folder, making it rather difficult to neatly manage large number of report files.
If it could be set to automatically sort report files into certain designated subfolders, etc., it would be convenient.

Implement consistent error message for Box Preview across all file types
Facing some issue in displaying the preview for password protected files
Due to which we are unable to specify product standard error message to the consumers.
