2. When moving / copying a file in the web app, allow me to paste a URL for a destination folder

   I often interact with box folders via the web app (people send me links to specific files). When moving around files, I find it EXTREMELY HARD to find the destination folder that I want. This especially frustrating when I have that same folder open in a different tab.

   In the move/copy dialog, I'd love to be able to paste the URL of a folder, and have box automatically jump to that destination. Searching for "Status Updates" is useless, if, when I search, I see all "Status Update" folders I have access to, and not the one tucked under "Project Pineapple" or some such, which is what I care about.

3. Sharing File paths with others in my organization on box drive

   Before my company switched to box we had a mac server. When directing people to files on this server we used a utility called PathSnagger where it copied the file path which you could then email to someone and it would become a clickable hyperlink. When you click it, it took you directly to that location on the server. It was great to be able to do this.

   With box, we cannot do that any longer with this utility because it copies the fully qualified path to your local computer. file:///Users/[username]/Library/CloudStorage/Box/[folder name]/[file or folder name] and since the recipient is on their own computer, the path breaks.

   We also all are using box drive to work locally rather than in a browser.

   I know we can copy or email a shared link to people, but that takes you to view it in a browser.

   What would be AMAZING if at all possible, would be for box to either be able to detect if a user has box drive installed and when they click the shared link, it instinctively knew you had it installed and throw a popup that says, "Would you like to open this link in box drive on your computer?" (or something similar) or if the browser view could identify that the viewer has box drive installed and include a button in the browser view that says something along the lines of "reveal in box drive"

   I know that Zoom can do something like this. when you click a zoom link to join a meeting, it takes you to your browser and shows a popup "Do you want to allow this page to open “zoom.us.app”?" and you can click Allow and it launches zoom.

4. Customizable form for Box Sign

   Need the ability to create a form that allows users to type in their own name, date, and enter text based on the request into a form that allows folks to sign off/provide approval based on what is in the form within Box Sign.

   When we share the open link with password, currently we need to create the new email and send the password separately.
   If we have the Email Icon to send password, we can work this on only Box.

8. Ability to view reports as a group administrator

   I would like to see a fix for the error that occurs when a group administrator displays a report.

   If you try to view the report as a group administrator, you may get the error message [Unexpected error.] error may occur.
   The current workaround is to run a report.
   We use the report function when we need to take immediate action for recovery, but if we use [Run], which takes a long time to output, the action will be delayed, which is a problem for our business.
   Therefore, we request that the function of displaying reports be migrated to the new platform and that the reports be modified so that they can be used correctly.

9. Lack of reports on copy operations to external folders

   We strongly request the improvement of the display specification when the log of copying an item to an external tenant's folder is output to the report.

   In the current specification, when the destination folder is an external tenant, the report only shows the copied file as "External File".
   In other words, we can determine "who" copied "when" and "some file," but we cannot determine "where" and "what" was copied.

   We believe this is a major problem in monitoring and preventing information leaks.
   I thought it was one of Box's great strengths that most of the operation logs are stored and can be checked, but I never imagined that this very important log would be output in an inadequate form.

   Also adding to the problem was the fact that Box Shield's classification labels do not control operations after copying to an external folder.
   Currently, the only effective solution is to use Box Govenrnance's linkage restriction feature to block external invitations.
   I hope this will be remedied as soon as possible as it interferes with many transactions.

10. Prioritize "Open with" on document "..."

    Reduce the list of when you click the "..." on a document so "Open with" is always shown on the screen. Currently, when you click the "..." next to a specific file it opens a whole list of options from which to choose, including "Open With" which I use a lot. However, recently the list length was increased and now the "Open with," probably the most used function, is pushed off the top of my screen - very annoying. On another note, allow me to post a pic here showing the issue...

11. Ability to Change Sort Order

    I'd like to be able to switch the sort order of folders to descending so I don't have to keep making multiple clicks each time I'm in and out of folders. The default is from oldest to newest, and I'd like to be able to reverse that and keep that as a preference.

12. File counts do not refresh often enough for our needs

    The file counts within the webapp do not update regularly enough.
    
    We need to be able to see if there are files in folders and if so, how many, without having to look inside each folder.

13. Improve imagine viewer quality

    Images in BOX are compressed when viewed in BOX, they appear blurry and low quality. When downloaded and viewed in Windows or another viewer, they are fine. WHY IS BOX COMPRESSING IMAGES IN VIEWER??? This is so frustrating. HELP!!

14. Slow video preview

    Video files take way too long until the preview starts. Shuttling is not possible until completely buffered.

    To solve this, the preview could be converted in the background into a more web friendly file that starts immediately and allows shuttling. As offered by many other services.

15. Ability to read the EXIF data in the photos that are uploaded

    I need Box to read the EXIF data in the photos I upload. Having access to that would make categorizing and finding assets infinitely easier. If I could sort by the metadata already included with an image file I would be able to find by date, location, resolution, etc automatically. A default metadata template should be created that matches that of EXIF data so that it automatically loads. You could then find the images you want by searching the EXIF data then could apply other metadata to add more relevance.

    Inconsistencies in the number of files can occur when large amounts of data are owned or moved for business purposes.
    There is a workaround for this in the support page, but it does not work in some cases.
    Even if we can confirm the exact number of items in the report, the size may differ due to data inconsistencies.
    We feel that it is inconvenient for business use to not be able to accurately grasp the number of data.
    Please fix the inconsistency of the number of files.

    Box should support modern search capabilities such as elastic search
    We want to be able to search for something within the name if a file
    ie name contains,
    Exact match isn't very useful, if we wanted to search for a specific product code in the name for example
