Allow folder recursion of checkbox unticking of "Only folder owners and co-owners can sent collabator invites"
The behavior when unsetting the "Only folder owners and co-owners can sent collabator invites" is unpredictale. When unticking the checkbox at a high folder level, it may or may not propagate to enclosed folders in the so-called waterfall method like folder permissions do. Some folders will reflect the checkbox being unticked, while others will not. The only way to be sure currently is to manually traverse each subfolder and untick as needed.

Support for Pasting Multiple Email Addresses in Box Hubs and Box AI Features
When selecting “Enable for selected users and groups,” I noticed that the text area for entering email addresses does not support pasting multiple email addresses at once. Currently, it requires entering each address individually, either by typing or pasting one by one, which is time-consuming when enabling the feature for multiple users.
Would it be possible to enhance this functionality to allow pasting multiple email addresses at once, similar to how collaborators can be invited to folders?

Enable Cross‑Owner Folder Moves for Users with Sufficient Permissions (e.g., Editor)
[Request]
Even if a user is not an administrator or the folder owner, we would like them to be able to move folders across different owners when they have sufficient permissions (e.g., Editor) on the target folder.
To allow administrators to control this behavior, please provide a setting like the following.
Feature requested:
Add a toggle (policy) in the Admin console or folder settings to allow / disallow “folder moves that involve a change of ownership.”We believe this will significantly improve end‑user convenience and operational efficiency, while allowing flexible control in accordance with each organization’s security policy.

Right click on a piece of information displayed on an Apps view in order to be able to copy it directly
It would be extremely helpful to be able to right click and copy information directly from a Box Apps grid view.
This will help us to easily paste into an external system and also into the Box search app we have created to look for the actual documents being requested.

The maximum number of Platform apps that can be registered should be increased.
Currently, the maximum number of approved Platform apps is limited to 100.
If we create an app for each affiliated company within the tenant, 100 is not sufficient.
We would like the maximum number of Platform apps that can be registered to be significantly increased.(In Japanese)
現在、アプリの登録上限は100件までですが、テナント配下で組織ごとにアプリを作った場合、足りなくなる可能性があります。

workflow
Hi, I was wondering if we could revert the workflow for sharing folders with other users. There was a recent UI/UX update that changed my Box such that when I share a folder with someone, it doesn't auto-populate my cursor in the "Invite People" field, and after typing the name of the person I'd like to share it with, pressing enter or tab does not select the person. The old Box used to highlight the first person that matched what you typed. Once the person is added, I also have to click "Send" manually instead of being able to press…

File Request ID: Enhance File Request API Visibility, Documentation, and Reporting Capabilities
Summary:
Current limitations around File Requests create gaps for administration, automation, and reporting. There is no reliable way to retrieve a File Request ID from the UI or API, documentation is incomplete, and reporting capabilities are insufficient for enterprise use cases.Problem Details:
Missing File Request ID Access
The File Request ID is not exposed in the UI.
The API does not provide a clear or consistent way to retrieve the File Request ID for existing requests.
This blocks automation, integration workflows, and troubleshooting.
Incomplete API Documentation
The File Request API endpoints lack clear, end-to-end guidance.

Issues with Filename Corruption and Large File Download Failures on Box
I am reaching out regarding two issues I am experiencing when using Box.
1. Filename corruption when downloading files on Windows
Files uploaded to Box from macOS are showing corrupted or unreadable filenames when I download them on a Windows PC. The file contents themselves are fine, but the filenames become garbled, making it difficult to identify or manage them.
This appears to be related to differences in filename encoding between macOS and Windows during the upload/download process.
2. Large files cannot be downloaded
Additionally, I am unable to download large files stored in Box.

Searching for Folders and Moving files
Ever since the platform updated, it has become very difficult to move a file to a new folder by searching the folder name. I can search for the exact name of the folder and get a whole bunch of other files that aren't even close matches to the folder name. Before the changes we had no problem finding the correct folder.
I am primarily talking about our 30 INVOICES PAID folder. This folder probably contains several hundred folders for each of the vendors that we use, with additional folders for each year. If I want to move an invoice into…

Revert UX for creating folders
Hi, I was wondering if we could revert the workflow for creating folders. There was a recent UI/UX update last week that changed my Box such that when I create a folder, it doesn't auto-populate my cursor in the "Name" field, and after typing the name of the folder, pressing enter does not create the folder.
It was very smooth when I was able to click "new folder," immediately type the name of my folder, and then press enter to immediately create it. Now, I have to either click the "name" field directly or press tab before I'm able to…

Set default on how to display a link
I'm not sure when this was added, I didn't see it in the release notes. But when pasting a link into a Box Note, there are now options on how the link is to be displayed. It defaults to "Display Link Title". Can you please add a setting to change that default to another option?
"Display as URL" is far more useful when you are pasting links (for example) from Jira or ServiceNow, where "Display Link Title" only says "Jira" every time, forcing you to go into each link and changing it to URL to see every link.

Access Policy to Restrict Access to Specified Groups
With Hubs, users' ability to add content to a Hub increases the chance of accidentally giving access to unintended internal users. For sensitive content, it would be nice to be able to have an access policy applied to specific classification that restricts document access to users in specific groups to prevent internal data leakage.

Create a New Folder Bugs - cursor not in text box, no return to create
Sometime in the last month, there was a UI update with Box that changed how creating a New Folder functions. Now, when creating a new folder, the cursor does not start in the name box, so you have to manually click into the box to start typing. Secondly, you can no longer press enter/return to create the folder; you have to drag your cursor and click the "create" button. This combination has been a frustrating change for seemingly no reason. Renaming a folder still automatically lets you type in names and press return to create, so it's definitely an accidental…

Create folders in bulk by a specific destination folder using Relay at run time.
Hello,
As an example for you: our practice uses box.com for our architectural packages. Currently when we want to create a new project folder with specific names and sub folders we have to duplicate an existing set of folders and rename them all then move them to a new location.
It would be helpful if Box Relay could let users choose a destination folder in Box at run time as part of a “Project folder creation” workflow.
For example, during a form submission (or via a simple pop-up), the user could browse/select where the new project folder—and its standard subfolders—should…

I am a fan of central management of users. One feature is the admin's ability to create password for the accounts.
As long as I have known box, there should be a feature that allows the admin of the company account. to create users and assign their passwords. This is a key factor in central management and control. It is almost a red flag for me, on implenetation.

"Bob has accepted the invitation to..." (x1000)
Getting these automatic emails each time a folder is shared bogs down my notifications. Is there anyway I can turn these specific notifications off? Alternatively, could I please disable the "Automatically accept initiations" setting for the company as admin?

Add metadata to files uploaded via a box form.
We are using box forms, doc gen and relay to create construction site walks summaries. We then use Box Extract to add metadata to the summary. Part of the site walk is uploading photos of issues found during the walk. I would like to be able to apply metadata from the summary to any photos uploaded from the same form. It would be things like the Property Name, Date of Site Walk and Who took the photos. Since all of these vary from one site walk to the next, I don't know of a way to, other than manually or…
