Save Collaboration Invite
I included an email address in my invite message, so the invite was not sent and I got the error, "Collaboration invite was not sent because URLs are not supported in the invite message."
I had dozens of invitees and a fairly long invite message, so it was aggravating when the invite was not saved for me to edit (remove the email in the message) and retry.

Restructure API endpoints to only use one base URL
We're currently pushing documents from a different system through your APIs using an integration platform.
Here we are uploading files and then assigning metadata templates to them for later use in searches and checking for versions, etc.The integration platform vendor is taking pay through every baseline URL we add to the system as a connector and then allowing us to basically have as many connections to the same system as we want using that base URL. This is relevant to our challenge.
When utilizing the Box API, the base URL (based on the documentation I've found) for uploading documents is:
"https://upload.box.com/api/2.0....."While when searching for files or uploading metadata, etc. then the baseline URL is:
"https://api.box.com/2.0/files...."Because of the baseurl difference then this means that we have to pay twice to connect to the same system.
I'm therefore wondering if you have any other endpoints or are planning to move your endpoints so that we only have to either use "https://api.box.com" or "https://upload.box.com" when connecting to Box?We're currently pushing documents from a different system through your APIs using an integration platform.

Multiple IDP Support for Login
While Box Supports Multiple IDP connections to a single tenant, it is not possible without the tenant to provide a landing page for login. This is something that multiple other providers already support, and asking the customer to supply their own login page to access Box from multiple IDPs hurts both Box and the customer.
This hurts Box because instead of creating managed and secure users, I now need to juggle 3rd party users and treat them as guests rather than full users. ($)
This hurts customers by not allowing us to administer policies easily for end users as a whole. Larger conglomerate companies do not necessarily always function in the same silo's and if often takes years for them to merge structure if they even merge at all.

Ability to export search results
When an admin conducts and enterprise wide search, it would be great if the results could be exported. This would allow one to sort the data and and sum the size of all the files/folders.

Ability to schedule Platform Activity Report
Ability to schedule Platform Activity Report so that admin can monitor API usage on a regular basis. Additional filters for that report in the console will also be helpful. At the moment, admin has to open the report in Excel and do manual filtering.

Allow folders or files to show up in multiple places but be the same object
This is a feature request.
I notice that sometimes team members copy or upload the same document to multiple locations in the same workspace or within the same workspace. For example, there is a shared folder with multiple sub-folders within it. The same file may live within many of those sub-folders. These are all separate files, so if someone uploads a new version of that file somewhere else, the other files are an older copy of that file.
The request would be to allow some way to show, or link to, a file that is elsewhere in the space within another folder or directory. That way you do not have to copy or move that file.
This is a feature request.

To prevent signature as Images to be saved when sent an email to "Allow uploads to this folder via Email" folder.

Box Sign: Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA)
Box Sign: Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) via integration with LexisNexis for Box Sign.
IRS requires knowledge based authentication to verify the identity of the person who is signing (confirm social security #, etc. )
DocuSign doesn't offer this unless you request it and pay extra. Box Sign could require that customers pay extra for this too.
Mortgage, banking, finance companies require this.
5% of all of my customer's signatures require using KBA.

Request corrections from a signer / Duplicate Request
I want to request a signer correct the information given on a form without having to create a completely new form (due to the document being signed). It's frustrating having to create and resend a form because one person has mistakenly inputted information with a typo. It's difficult to get signatures from people to start with, and it's even harder getting them to resign documents because someone else made a mistake.
Ideally, we could review the form, and request an update to a specific field and have the correction reflected in the document log for audit purposes.

Remove an invited collaborator's access on a per folder level
There are use cases where the content owners/co-owners would like the ability to remove an (external) collaborator's access to a folder on a specific date. Understanding that this can be configured at a global level (by setting timeframe), it would be helpful to have this on a per folder level as well.
This would be beneficial as various departments/users share data of varying sensitivity and in various use cases (such as sharing with an external contractor whose contract is for X months).

Box Legal Hold Export API
The current Box Legal Hold Exports function becomes difficult to manage at scale. The export process itself generates "batch" zip files that need to be manually downloaded via the user interface. Because the zip files are limited to 5,000 files or aprox 16 GB, I have one user to export who has over 500 "batch" zip files to download. The API does not support directly downloading these batch files. A way to bulk download or programmatically download these batch files is essential when exporting a very large (either in pure storage size or in number of files) user hold.

Hello Box,
Box, by removing the Grid View for us desktop users you are making life hellish for those who need to send video files and images to clients for selection/use at their end. 90% of value in the Box platform has been diminished by this one change.
Instead of us/our clients being able to scan hundreds of images/video clips and then be able to click in to specific files for a closer look, people have to go through one by one to see what images/video clips look like. This update is like going back to the stone ages for people working with video/images and a major mistake that needs urgent attention. Does Aaron know what types of problems it is causing?
Can you resolve this for us desktop users using of box?
Has anyone actually checked with customers if this 'update' is useful, or has someone made an update for the sake of it?
This needs to be looked at from a customer's perspective. Simple exercise. Go to Shutterstock or Getty Images, and imagine you can only see all their images on a desktop/laptop in a list with a tiny thumbnail. That would not work.
Not everyone is using the app.

Create Relay to Connect to Users Table
The only way to view the number of user licenses consumed is to view the Insights in the Admin Console. Unless you look there, there's no visibility. When I approach my purchased license limit, I would like to build a Relay that can tap into the users table to monitor the number of licenses then alert me when that limit is approaching.

Request for the ability to not display specific folders in BoxDrive
BoxDrive is very convenient because it can be used as an explorer, but due to user operational error
folders or files may be moved to unintended folders.
Folders to be collaborated outside the company can lead to information leakage,

BoxNotes table of contents width
It is now possible to create a table of contents in BoxNotes, but since the display width of the table of contents is fixed, when a long sentence is displayed in the table of contents, the right end is cut off and becomes "...", and it is not possible to display all the character strings.
