Please add ”LIKE! or Stamp" feature (Just like facebook and slack)
Me and my colleagues want this feature, to show gratitude to the person who created the content.
After new feature "Feed" has released, in my team, sharing the content become more effective. We can notice the new documents and see and use or give he/she an advise. which help our team really a lot. Box Sync: Sharing file Message box character length too short
When sharing a file; in the Message (optional) text box please list the max amount of characters that can be entered in that box. Also, can we increase the number of characters in that box to maybe around 400? It was recently decreased and is now effecting my ability to do my job.

Add option to cancel workflow, move files to trash automatically on reject
On rejecting, the workflow options are to go back to a previous step or to complete the workflow. However, if you reject, you may want the workflow to end and if the file has been rejected you certainly don't want to save it to the approved files directory (this has happened to us recently and caused a problem with a customer). On rejecting there should be a different option - to cancel the workflow and trash the files or auto-select a "rejected documents trashbin folder" in order to avoid accidentally saving rejected files to an approved files directory. Pop-up message when not able to copy ALL data
It would be strongly needed a pop-up message that informs the user when Box stops copying the data and an information on which data has been copied and which not.

Enhance API for group membership search
Current implementation of user group membership search is very inefficient.

New "simplified link"
I hate the new "simplified link" deployment.
When I post a new file online to make it available to one of my clients, I simply copy and paste the link into an email I send them. With this new deployment, the shared link must first be enabled (it is disabled by default). This means you've just added at least a couple of additional clicks to my work flow each and every time I send a link to a customer. Ability to hide tags, and icons such as the sync icon, shared link icon, and comments icon in the user settings.
I am asking as it makes the view very busy with all of these icons present and it would be nice to have a filter option with the view.
I have in mind users that may not as tech savvy and can overwhelmed by the number of visible items.

New field that indicates whether that specific folder has any collaborations of its own, i.e. not inherited from a parent
We have a big problem on our hands when it comes to obtaining all of the collaborations a user created inviting others to their content. There simply is no quick way of doing this, especially on users having massive folders. We discovered that the GET action on the /Folders endpoint has an available request field called “hascollaborations” which indicates whether the folder has any collaborations. I really hoped we could leverage this to cut down on the unnecessary calls to the /Folders/{folderId}/collaborations endpoint if the folder being iterated over had no collaborations, but unfortunately it returns “true” even if…

Allow access to embedded file using LEX app (iOS)
Customer is embedding a url to their iframe. Luckily, they could access the embedded file using their android phones from their LEX application. However, iOS users are not able to access the embedded file using their LEX app. But they can access the URL from their browser

Would like a feature that boilerplate to the message box of Send Shared Link
For example, the customer usually uses shared link with Send Shared Link.
However, the customer sometimes faces insufficient information.

Be able to automatically update all photos taken on my Android phone to a folder on Box. This apparently can be done with an iPhone through Box Capture, but not on an Android.

iOS SDK
'Mark for offline' capability in SDK. Either read-only or edit-sync is a critical requirement for field worker use cases.
With current SDK developers need to build this which is expensive and risky.

Be able to move files on Box online and have it update in Box Drive without having to log out.
When moving large folders via Box online, the folder dissapears within Box Drive. According to Box, this is intended behavior, and requires the user to log out of the software and log back in, which resets what is synced. Box Drive should be able to update folder changes without having to sign out of the account.

Box Drive to notify users before logging out that files or folders not sycn up will be lost.
It will be helpful if users will be notified before logging out of Box Drive that all files or folders not sync up to Box will be lost . In this way, users will be able to check again on the problem items and save it on other location before proceeding on logging out. This will prevent loss of files.

Forward Antivirus Protection notifications to specific definable email addresses
As of now, only Site Admin and Content Owners will receive notifications from the Box Antivirus protection feature. We would like the ability to send those notifications to definable addresses within our organization. This will ensure our Security Team gets all the proper notifications and not just the Site Admin and Content Owner.
The work around at the moment is to have the Site Owner setup forwarding Rules in their e-mail application.

Fix Illegal Characters Automatically When Uploading Via FTP
FTP uploads currently allow illegal filenames or unsupported characters in filenames. This triggers sync and file errors in Box Drive.

ReadOnly Downloads
Allow files to be downloaded via the API when the only Application scope checked is "Read all files and folders stored in Box". Preferably as well users should be able to go into the list of apps authorized to access their files and enforce readOnly access as well.
It is a completely unnecessary liability for apps that only need to download files, and an unnecessary security risk for a User/Organization's data.

Provide BIM management in Box to access Construction market
As we are partnering with Autocad to integrate Box in there tools, it would be great to support BIM file formats, which are starting to get more and more common in construction and building management industries.
This could help Box Sales team to address new markets through Autocad RevIt integration for example.
