Select multiple folders as the location filter for Views in Box Apps
I would like the ability to select multiple folders as the location filter for Views in Box Apps. For example, I may have a project folder with a metadata template cascading to all subfolders, but I only want to see content from 2 out of the 3 subfolders in the View.

Allow separate notification messages for task assignment and completion
Currently, when creating a general or approval task, the same notification message is sent both when the task is assigned and when it is completed.
As a result, recipients of the message can sometimes become confused.I would like the ability to set different notification messages for task assignment and task completion.

Ability to hide a Hub from personal view
I would like the option to hide specific Hubs from my view without leaving or losing access to them. This would allow me to declutter my Hub list and focus on the Hubs most relevant to my current work.
Use Case
- I have access to multiple Hubs but only actively use a few on a regular basis
- Some Hubs are for reference only or used infrequently
- My Hub list has become cluttered, making it harder to find the Hubs I need quickly
Proposed Functionality
- Add a "Hide from view" option for individual Hubs
- Hidden Hubs would not appear in my main Hub list
- Provide a way to access/view hidden Hubs (e.g., a "Show hidden Hubs" toggle or separate section)
- Allow users to unhide Hubs at any time
- Hiding should be user-specific and not affect other Hub members

Adding AI activities to the User Activity Report
Box AI reporting is currently only available to tenants on the Enterprise Plus plan.
Box AI is now available to tenants with the business plan or above, but since operation logs cannot be confirmed from reports, auditing is not possible, making it unusable for businesses and posing a fatal security flaw.
In order to use and utilize Box AI, please make sure that AI activities are output regardless of your plan.(日本語訳)

Date and TimeStamp - Box Sign
Add date and timestamp on the signature field is currently and enterprise setting. The user would like for this to be user facing, instead of enterprise wide. So that individual users could choose to toggle on or off. Or specific users and groups

form submission export
Box forms submissions should be available via export/report to show each submission and it's form responses, as well as info about the submission (who was it by, when, etc.). This would help with tracking specific forms and reflect functionality with similar products.

Export transparent images using Box Canvas
When exporting Box Canvas as an image, I want to be able to make the background transparent.
Currently, when exporting Box Canvas as an image, the background appears white. Since there are cases where it's more convenient to have no background color when pasting into another medium, I would like the option to export only the elements drawn on the Box Canvas as an image, with the background set to transparent.

Users and Groups - Move "More Options" [...] Menu to Left-Hand Side of Page
Admins regularly take repeated actions in the Users and Groups tab of the Admin Console - specifically Log in as User, and Add User to Groups. If the menu could be close to the user's name, this would make manual processing much easier for admins.

Request to add output items to the Box Hubs Report
Could you please include the "Hub Settings" items in the output of the Box Hubs Report?
After a Hub is created, the creator configures access and collaboration settings for the Hub in "Hub Settings."
As Box administrators, we would like to have an overview of access and collaboration settings for each Hub.
While the settings can be checked individually in Content > Hubs by clicking into each Hub, it is necessary to open each one separately to confirm the configurations.
Therefore, it would be much more convenient if "Hub Settings" could be reviewed collectively in the report.16 votes -

From a User Experience (UX) perspective, we believe it is critical to keep the user flow consistent. Therefore, it is highly desirable for users to be able to expand folders and navigate their contents directly within the Hubs interface, rather than being redirected to a new tab.
Request: We kindly request the implementation of a feature that allows folder expansion and navigation within the Box Hubs UI. Furthermore, it would be ideal if this feature could be configurable, allowing administrators to toggle this behavior (enable/disable in-Hub expansion) on a per-Hub basis.

Enhancing View Visibility with Text and Background Customization
I received feedback from a customer regarding improving visibility within views.
They specifically requested the following enhancements:
・Ability to adjust text size
・Ability to change text color
・Expanded background color palette, including darker color optionsThese improvements would allow users to better tailor the interface to their preferences and working environments (e.g., long working hours or dark mode setups).
In views with a high density of information, visibility directly impacts productivity, so we believe this would be a valuable enhancement.

Request for a function that can determine whether an email address is registered in the Suppression List
If a welcome message is sent before the mailbox creation is complete, it will be added to the Suppression List as an invalid email address.

We would like metadata to also be stored in the specified Zone.
In Box Zones settings, content can be stored in the specified zone, but metadata is always stored in the United States.

We want all content to be displayed in Hub without using the "Show more" button.
When a large amount of content is placed in a single block in Hub, not all of the content is displayed in the UI, and users need to click "Show more" to see the rest.
We would like all content to be displayed without having to use the "Show more" button.

Box AI support for all spreadsheet tabs
Currently, Box AI only reads the first sheet of an Excel file. We would appreciate it if this could be expanded to cover the entire workbook (all tabs).

Notification(s) for Box Notes
In the "Inbox" of Box Notes, any Note that gets updated by someone is conveniently displayed at the top. While this feature is helpful, it can also be bothersome because Notes that I no longer need to see keep appearing at the top of my screen every time someone opens them. Additionally, I’d like to be able to turn off unread notifications for Notes that aren’t relevant to me.
It would be helpful to have a setting that allows users to turn update/unread notifications ON or OFF for each Note individually.
Box Notesの「Inbox」で表示されるBox Notesは、誰かに更新されるたびに分かりやすく一番上に更新されたNoteが表示されます。この機能は便利ですが、もう見る必要がないNoteも誰かが開くたび、自分の画面のトップに表示され続けるため煩わしいです。また、未読通知も自分にとって必要ないものはOFFにしたいです。
ユーザー自身でNoteごとに更新通知/未読通知をON/OFFできる設定があると便利です。

We would like to be able to check users’ departments from the UI:
Currently, you can view the usernames of users invited to a folder and the permissions granted to them within that folder.
However, there is no field in the account profile settings for entering a user’s department, so it cannot be easily checked.
While it is possible to work around this by adding the department to the username, this makes usernames longer and harder to read.
For example, I would like to be able to confirm a user’s department by displaying it in the same area as the permissions granted in the folder, or by showing the department when hovering the cursor over the username.--
UIからユーザーの所属部署を確認できるようにしたい:現在、フォルダに招待されたユーザーのユーザー名と、そのフォルダ内で付与された権限を確認できます。
しかし、アカウントプロファイル設定にはユーザーの所属部署を入力するフィールドがないため、簡単に確認できません。

User dropdown for Box Forms
In Box Forms it would be very convenient to have a User dropdown field.
Many of our workflows have a user fill out a form, which is then rendered into a document and sent for approval - and often, approvers are not static (e.g. their manager).
It would be very convenient if they could select another Box user with a similar experience to the collaboration dialog, or when you're adding to a Box Sign - a few characters from their name or email will show matching users. This field would then expose both the user's name and their email as variables in subsequent Relay steps.
It would be even better if the selectable users could be limited to a predefined list - especially if that list could contain an existing Box group. That way, when we update our managers group all the associated forms would automatically update.
Right now, our workaround is to add fields for both Approver Name and Approver Email, and have the user either type or select from a static dropdown, which means we have to update many forms when we have org changes - and it's on the end user to correctly match the email and name.

Disposition Report should be able to show files that were deleted in the past
It's important for GxP compliance and ease of auditing to know what files were disposed of in the past, or during a specific period, like in the last 30 days, last 6 months, etc.
Disposition report should be able to show previous deletions, not just upcoming deletions, and admins should be able to filter by retention policy, and date.
