Can we have the ability to preview files in the trash can like we can in the web browser? Having all of the trashed files listed by name but with no way to preview makes it harder for me to identify the content I may want to permanently delete or restore. Also, can we please have the ability to know the folder path the deleted file will be restored to before restoring the file? I have to hunt down files after I restore them as there is no easy way for me to know where they are going to be…

Uploading files with exactly the same hash value on BoxDrive should not be recorded as a 'copy' in the user activity report
If I upload a new file on Box Drive and then upload the same file (with the same hash value) again, the server copies the first uploaded file to reduce load and the user activity report records it as a copy. Even if these two file names are different!
In this case, if I have a workflow triggered by 'upload' in Box Relay, the trigger may not work because the event is considered a copy.
This behaviour is a limitation of the product specification, but I would like a fix so that it is treated as an upload.■In Japanese…

Request for additional functions to BoxCanvas
We have received requests from users to add the following functions to BoxCanvas as well as BoxNote.
A function to display a preview of the URL.

Collaboration expiration notice to the inviter
Only owners and co-owners will be notified when collaboration invitations expire.
I would be happy if this could be delivered to the "inviter" as well.
The person who is most concerned about this is the inviter as host.

Shortcuts for Box Notes
Shortcuts don't work in Box Notes when Caps Lock is on.
For your reference, in Excel, it works even if Caps Lock is on.

Empty (not delete) folder by Box Relay folder action
It would be great to have a relay folder action which empties a folder. Currently folder and files can only be deleted.
We use Box folders for mail-2-box actions, and very ofter users simply forget to remove a file from the folder. I want to achive a time-controlled trigger which empties the respective folders ever night. Many thanks.2 votes -

preview text in monospaced font
It looks like the preview of text files is trying hard to show them in a monospaced font--it wraps the content in both <pre> and <code>--but there seems to be a stray CSS rule that overrides them to make it match the rest of the page instead:
.be *{font-family:inherit}
Sure would be nice if this could be fixed to display text files in monospace as seems to be intended.

To be able to set their preferred default search to either "Everywhere" or in the folder you're in, depending on their own workflow.
From what I'm reading, I am not alone. I would like to be able to set mypreferred default search to the "Everywhere" option instead of the current folder. Others prefer the folder they are currently in, but it should be up to the user to determine what they want it defaulted to. Not what the develepors think everyone wants.

Notify person needing a copy that others still need to sign
Since there is no portal/no way to know when another member as sent a signature for tracking and workflow purposes, people need to be aware that signatures have gone out.

Ability to specify the destination folder for periodic output of Box reports

Box AI currently opens in a windows that covers the file I'm viewing in the browser.
Open Box AI in a new window that I can drag to another monitor so I can still see the file I'm using and better form my prompts/questions for Box AI.

Ability to select specific shared links and delete them all together
Sometimes, users create shared links and then leave them unattended.
As part of our inventory, we delete unnecessary shared links based on the shared link report.
However, in order to delete them, we need to access each file from a browser.
We would like a mechanism to delete multiple specific shared links at once.
If there are multiple shared links in the same folder, I would like the ability to check them off and delete them all together.In Japanese：

Box Sign: Document ID on the header/footer of the document
We would like to add the Document ID number on the header or footer of the documents when we finished signing with Box Sign. We understand that the hard copy is not required as long as the sign is done with Box Sign. But, if we print out the signed document, we can not see any evidence that the signed page is related to the other pages. In the DocuSign, I can see such function.

Enhanced Permissions for Locked Accounting Periods in Box for Netsuite Integration
It would be helpful for the integration to change all permissions to Viewer for transactions in a locked accounting period. This would ensure data retention. I realize we could use "Viewer Uploader", however, accountants need delete permissions (i.e. "Editor") until the accounting period is closed.
