File Request list
I would like to see the list of the folders that have File Request enabled so that I can check which folder is already enabled and can easily disable from that list.
There is a feature in admin console but would like to have the end users be able to do see it for their collaborated folders.2 votes -
When posting a shared link generated from Box onto Teams, the thumbnail display is slow.
When sharing a link from Box on Teams, there is approximately a 7-second delay before the thumbnail is displayed.
Improve the functionality to allow posting without waiting for the thumbnail to display. Currently, if a post is made without waiting for the thumbnail, it does not showing up.
To prevent posts without thumbnails, the following options are requested:
Implement a control mechanism that grays out the “post button” until the thumbnail is displayed, preventing the ability to post without a thumbnail.
Enhance the functionality to retroactively after posting, even if it was done without waiting for the thumbnail to appear.

data loss in mobile applications
Box is currently unable to save any new files directly from office mobile applications to Box fileserver locations, and the files disappear into the void when attempting to do so. After a few wasted hours of troubleshooting Senior Box Support indicated this is a result from a lack of support for mobile co-authoring functionality. An error message at the absolute bare minimum to instruct users to only save data locally would be the expectation when a file cannot be saved before data loss occurs.

I want BoxEdit/BoxDrive to support the Save As feature
When a user opens a file from the web interface in a desktop app such as Excel, makes edits, selects Save As, and renames the file, the new file does not get saved. Countless hours' worth of work have been lost because of this significant problem. If a user does all the same steps with the exception of opening a file from File Explorer (BoxDrive) instead of from the web interface, the new file is saved. We need the same functionality in the web interface!

BoxRelay trigger "Scheduling"
A customer is considering using boxrelay in the future.
Event scheduling → When triggering by date, currently you can only select the 1st day or the end of the month.
For example, if it were possible to do this on the second Wednesday, the 10th, or the 15th in the future, I think it would be convenient and encourage its use in the future.

Ability to send BOX email notifications from own domain using M365
Hello, this post applies to both regular BOX notifications and BOX sign. Many of our send requests and notifications are getting caught in spam and quarantine filters. This is happening both externally and internally, especially for BOX sign requests. We want to be able to integrate our O365 or GSuite domains into BOX so that all of these notifications (internal and external) are sent from our domain and show in our O365 history. This would dramatically speed up the adoption of BOX sign and we want the audit ability. Thank you!

Improvement of anomalous download
At the present, Anomalous download can't detect the external user's behavior.
I think it is the risk of data leakage.
I want to detect anomalous download of external users who is invited my tenant.

Add date and time of application of classification labels to the Classification Report
The current classification report lists which content is assigned which classification label, but does not show the date and time the label was applied or the user who applied the label.
The date of application and the user who applied the label are displayed in the folder/file details, but this is only the case when the classification label is applied manually.We would like to add an item to the classification report because it is expected to take time to investigate the cause when a classification label is unintentionally changed, and there is a security risk such as information leakage associated with label changes.

shared file links are unique URLs and not a file path we need the file path!!!!!

The URL is meaningless to the end user and the file path would create an easier way to return to the same document and recognize where it is saved3 votes -
Restrict file request dashboard manipulation by co-admin
When a user is made a Tenant Co-Admin, the File Requests dashboard in the Management Console can be manipulated regardless of the permissions granted.
If we want to give co-administrators permission to use certain features, such as running reports, it is a high security risk to allow them to manipulate content in the tenant.Please improve the ability to restrict file request dashboard operations from co-admin permission settings.

Folder differentiation on Web App
While Box does show a different folder if a folder is shared (blue with people silhouette) you are unable to tell which is shared BY you and which is shared TO you. I recommend changing the folder color to the default color, but adding the people silhouette when YOU share folders, then the blue one with the silhouette can be used for folders shared TO you.

Open link accessible only by those who hold a Box account
I want to share sensitive content with people outside my organization for a limited time (e.g., 3 days).
Problems:
- Using an open link does not allow restricting access to specific individuals. Also, if the person does not have a Box account, it is not possible to record an access log.
- Using collaborators does not allow for automatically removing certain collaborators after a set period.
Please provide a solution.

Provide a mechanism to indicate which BOX space you are in - potentially by account owner
It has become clear that personnel often are invited to multiple Box spaces. This can cause confusion due to folder naming that doesn't indicate what Box account that folder is associated with.
It would be beneficial if there was some method to indicate which Box account you are posting information in. This could be done with some type of context switching in the web app, or some listed account name with the folder.
We have found that often times, some personnel with 'free' Box Lite accounts will post information in their 'free' account instead of dropping them in the Box folder they have been invited to. Other time there are personnel that just don't recognize they are in their Box 'free' account compared to a 'compliant' Box account they have been invited to collaborate within.
So in short, the request is to have some type of clear indicator for which Box account you are collaborating in, or some method to context switch between your Box accounts.

Contact search on first and last name when sharing a folder
When searching a contact to share a folder with, the first name, surname and even the email address should be listed as results if they contain the string you are looking for.
Today search "Smith" to find "John Smith" doesn't give any result, but searching "John" will give "John Smith". The issue is that something you only know the first name or last name of the contact you're looking for. Mickey Mouse might be registered as "Mouse Mickey" and won't be found searching "Mickey". Disturbing.

Box Drive app more easily accessible
It would be convenient to have an install Box link located in the Help menu or my Account icon similar to Dropbox. Even still, when I navigate to the Box App Center I have to go to Box Drive, scroll down to the respective OS and install. It sounds tedious but I needed to install Box and Dropbox on a bunch of computers and was reminded how the Box user experience still doesn't hold up to Dropbox. Neither is perfect and both have great features but I always feel like Box makes me take steps I don't need or doesn't understand the customer workflow. More QA and everyday user testing please.

Google Sheets preview
The name of "sheet" on Google spreadsheet is normally displayed in the tab style and we can switch several sheets from one to another. However, when previewing Google Sheets file on Box, the name of sheet are displayed at the top of each page, which forces users to scroll down to the sheet they would like to see.
I want Google Sheets preview to have the same view and style as the native Google spreadsheet.2 votes -
Customize shared link theme and logo
As the File request link can be customized (text, colors, logo...), it would be great to customize a shared link too.
We have many companies inside our enterprise, so each company would be able to set its logo for their shared links (and not the default one of the enterprise).1 vote -
I would like shortcut files created on Box Drive to be reflected on Box Web as well.
I am aware that shortcut files (.lnk) created in Box Drive (on Explorer) are ignored as a file type and cannot be synchronized.
However, in my work, I use Box Drive a lot and sometimes create shortcuts, but I can't share them because they are not synced, and they are deleted when I log out of the system.
I feel this kind of specification is very inconvenient.

Box Drive(エクスプローラー上)で作成したショートカットファイル(.lnk)は、
無視されるファイルの種類として対象となっており同期が出来ないことは認識してます。
しかしながら業務上、Box Driveの利用が多くショートカットの作成することがありますが、
同期されないことで共有もできず、またログアウトしたことで削除されてしまう。
このような仕様だと大変不便に感じてます。

Shared links auto-expiration exception for specific folders
Currently, the auto-expiration policy for shared links applies to all folders and files. For shared links on folders, it would be great if we could prevent specific folders from expiring (similar to custom notifications settings on specific folders).
We have a couple of folders that are synced and shared using public links and shouldn't expire.4 votes -
Add keyword conditions to search filter.
Currently, possible to search by combining Boolean operators and keywords, it is a hurdle for users to use without knowledge.
It would be easier to search if the search filter had a narrowing criterion such as "includes ~" or " not include ~".(日本語)
