MFA Excluded User List Needed
MFA Excluded User List Needed - if a user has to switch MFA devices, as of now the Admin would need to globally turn MFA off for everyone, also an admin might need to setup a box account and login as a user (say using lastpass) before the hire date, thus they need to be on an exclusion list until they start, additionally automated processes might need a login that would be excluded from MFA needs direclty within box, thus the requirement for an exclusion list for MFA that is freely adjustable.
5 votes- We will soon have the ability to download back up codes that can be used in case you don't have access to your MFA device.
- Certain Box plans have the ability to exempt specific users from MFA.
- We do have this exclusion list for external users.
Given these, we don't have plans to add an exclusion list for managed user MFA at this point.

Allow a Custom Size for Chunked Uploads
Currently, each part should have exactly the size that was returned from post-files-upload-sessions (Link: https://developer.box.com/reference/post-files-upload-sessions/) API call in Upload session object (Link: https://developer.box.com/reference/resources/upload-session/#param-part_size)
Depending on a user's network configuration, allowing a user to determine the specific part size for chunked uploads can allow them more control in completing these uploads quicker, and preventing failures based on network restrictions they may possibly have in place.

Output a report detailing the operation of a file request.
The current useractivity report outputs all file requests as "Edit File Request Link" when the settings are changed or when the file request expires, so it is not possible to see the details of what operations are performed from the report.
Please make it possible to output a report detailing what was set or changed in the operation.

[Box Drive's ability to require re-authentication when changing networks]
After authenticating Box Drive, we want it to detect that the network has changed (For example, changes in IP addresses, etc.) and re-authenticate. If this is not possible, I would like to see the retention period for authentication information shortened (up to 24 hours).
This is because, although only authorized terminals can be authenticated, Box cannot be used from unauthorized networks.

Box Relay
Allow metadata and other substitutions in the message body and subject lines of the Assign a Task and Send a Notification outcomes. We would like to be able to customize message body and subject lines with one or more metadata items. As an example, if we have a workflow that is being run for each of several subject people (think onboarding a group of new employees), the tasks will be assigned to the same user for multiple people. We'd like to add name of target employee in the subject line or body of the outcomes.

API for "CRUD" for Box Relay and Box Relay Lite
We have created over a hundred of Relay workflows and have currently faced a difficulty in adjusting all rules when our orgnization is changed. We would like to have a set of APIs for Relay for creation, reference, update and delete operations (so called CRUD).
Also we would like to have an way to update folder ID(s) on existing workflows. It would help so much especially when annual org change happens.

Expand Window for Select Folders
Change the Select Folder to Add window to a FULLSCREEN, adjustable, or with horizontal scrolling. I have PROPERTY folders and DEPT subfolders that I can't read in the mini window provided. I can skip this step and then go to the share and invite them, but it should not be required. I can't keep guessing whether or not I am assigning them to Human Resources or Housekeeping, simply because I can't see what I selected.

Bold/Italic/ underline option for a single word in a sentence
Bold/italic/underline and other home page tools options are graded out when selecting a single word in a sentence within a cell on Box Excel online. Suggestion to add the option

Add option to cancel workflow
Currently there is only delete option to stop the workflow.
Workflows are stalled or stacked as in progress sometimes. We want to assign similar task manually or re-assign the same task to complete the workflow in time.
But it will cause duplicated tasks assigned unexpectedly or file operation (move or copy etc.) is executed twice. This is very confusing.
So we want to cancel the existing workflow before manual workaround.12 votes -
Increase size of left-side menu on Home screen
The left-side menu on the Home screen is too narrow and cuts off the names of folders/files saved under My Collections/Favorites.
Users should be able to set whatever width is needed for the menu.

Enable option for a pre-built integration with Addepar.
My wealth management customer sees Addepar as indispensable, and would greatly benefit from a Box integration, in order to leverage Box as the content layer for Addepar.
Addepar is their portfolio management system.

Default sort by date to descending (most recent first)
The default sort order is Alphabetical by folder name. When I sort by Updated date, it defaults to ascending -- oldest items first. I'm most often looking for something in a folder that was updated very recently; I would prefer that the default for sorting by Updated date be descending -- newest items first.

Custom apps with restricted folder access
We want to create a custom app where access is restricted to certain folders only.
Downscoping is not the best solution.
JWT key pairs are at risk of leaking.

E.g. add more fields, enable option so the File Request does not have to all be completed all at once, enable a dashboard for sender and receiver to see completion progress on the full File Request, enable ability for creator of file request to approve items on the file request and mark them complete, enable ability for sender and receiver to edit the File Request retroactively after submissions.

I would like to see BoxWeb implement a function to sort files by extension.
The current BoxWeb does not allow sorting by file extension.
However, in some fields, a large number of photos and videos are often taken for measurement and development work, and many types of files are miscellaneously stored in a single folder.For example, when searching for image files (.png/.jpg/etc...) For example, if you are looking for image files (.png/.jpg/etc...), you can search for them by file name, but you may also want to check them by file extension.
We currently use a method of dividing files into categories by file type, such as blocks of image files, blocks of video…

Ruled line
When the excel file is previewed, there are ruled line.
It makes us hinder clearly understand the report.
