Customizable reminders
Depending on the workflow, the pace at which a process needs to follow through might differ greatly. It would be most useful to be able to determine the interval between 2 reminders, and when the first reminder gets sent

Slow video preview
Video files take way too long until the preview starts. Shuttling is not possible until completely buffered.
To solve this, the preview could be converted in the background into a more web friendly file that starts immediately and allows shuttling. As offered by many other services.

left navigation not collapsing
This is a problem on all pages of Box. The left navigation menu is not collapsing and is blocking access to the files in the center console.

Ability to customize the display of the root folder of [Box for Salesforce]
About the display of the root folder of [Box for Salesforce]
I would like to prevent the root folder of [Box for Salesforce] from being shown when I log in to [Box Web].
The reason is that I want to refer to documents attached in [Salesforce] only in the [Salesforce] screen.
When logging in to [Box Web], we would like to tighten the access control of documents by making it impossible to operate the target documents from [Box Web].4 votes -
Shield Shared Links: Password Requirement
Passwords for public links are wonderful, however, the capability to enforce all links (even those with internal or collaborator scope) would be beneficial for users and content security. If this password requirement could be tied to classifications as an access policy, that would make it increasingly difficult for negligent or malicious actions on Box content. Currently, we can only decrease the scope available for shared links, but by requiring a password, there will be additional adoption for Box and Shield, especially within highly regulated industries that require external or public distribution of content.

Updates on the lock functionality after Save as
I want the lock to come off properly after Save As.(BoxDrive)
If you save a file to a folder in Box Drive using "Save As" in the Office app and then close the app immediately, the newly created file will remain locked.
If I close the app immediately, the newly created file will remain locked.
The lock is not automatically removed when the application is closed.After saving the file, other users are not able to edit the file, and this is interfering with my work. I would like to see this fixed.

すぐにアプリを閉じると、新しく作成されたファイルにロックが残ってしまいます。

FIX the SEARCH to search exact terms and support advanced search parameters
There are several major issues here, search should be powerful in order to make the tool as useful as possible. It is to the point now that we are storing so much information on Box that not having a search tool that actually works is causing us serious headache and loss of productivity.
Search returns results for all forms of a word, how is it helpful to be absolutely unable to narrow a search. For example, if I search for "Government" (yes, even when using quotes) I get results including government, governance, govern, etc. Thanks Box, you have now included…

Today, if I want to invite 3 people to approve a task, but I only need 2/3 to approve it, then this is not an option. Similarly, if I want to invite 10 people to approve a task, but I only need 6/10 to approve it, then this is not an option.
I only have the option for one person to approve it or for everybody to approve it.

searching by "shared with me"
It would be nice to sort my files by those files that "shared with me" by other people. Sometimes I don't know the name of the folder, but know who sent me the data. This search ability in the "sort" section above the files, or on the menu to the left of the files would save time searching for things.

Ability to prevent all managed users from approving invitations from free accounts
Implement a feature that prevents all managed users from approving invitations from free accounts
We believe that receiving invitations from personal free accounts is not desirable from the perspective of possible information leakage, such as intentionally moving or copying company information to a personal account.
If the domain of the owner of the invited folder is not on the domain whitelist, it will result in a considerable time loss before the domain is registered and the invitation is made, leading to a loss of work efficiency.

UI enhancement - View full file names
It is frustrating that I can't read the full file name when looking at box online, I cannot adjust the column widths with the file information and if I hover over the file name it still does not show me the file name. Any one of those options would be useful.

Send a notification regarding document lock/unlock timing
For teams that are actively working on a single document, the lock/unlock feature is nice to prevent version control issues. However, it would be nice to have additional notifications are this feature, namely:
- "Notify me when this file is unlocked"
- "Warn me [the person who locked the file] when the file lock is about to expire"
- "Warn me [the person who locked the file] if I've left the file locked AND inactive for more than X minutes"
Etc.

Create folders under the ownership of the Teams channel owner instead of under the service account
Microsoft Teams channels should have the option to automatically create folders under the ownership of the Teams channel owner instead of under the service account. If the channel owner changes, they want it to move that content to a new owner. I picture this mounting under the [USER]/Microsoft Teams Folder/[TEAM].
The current integration only mounts to the service account for Teams channels .This feature is required for tracking governance of data.

Box uses low contrast fonts which make reading messages difficult
Emails from Box render with a grey font against a grey background in Outlook. Emails are unreadable.
Fonts on the website are low contrast making it hard to read.

Folder access expiration date for internal and external users access to folders
Add a feature to allow user's access to folders to expire on a pre-set date that can be determined at the time you are adding them as a collaborator. We have various students and interns floating through our department that only need temporary access to certain folders and its become incredibly challenging to go back and remove access on a rolling basis.
