Templates for Comments
When someone sends me a document I did not ask for ... I want to know three things ... what is it ... why are you sending this to me ... and what, if anything, do you want me to do with it ...? Would be nice if I could create a template for comments, like we have in notes, where someone could select a custom template (like the one I just described) and answer it in the comments section of a document.

Receive notification when a folder is renamed.
I would like to see an email notification sent to the administrator when the title of a folder is changed.
Just like deleting an item, deleting a folder, etc.

Block file extensions lists in Shield malware detection
As part of Governance it is possible to move certain file types to a Quarantine folder. This is useful for a lot of ransomwares, as they change the extension of files.
Currently this "old" functionality has not yet been moved to Shield. Shield does have a malware detection, which uses threat detection technology. We would like to have the ability to extend this with a list of known extensions.

Passwords on File Request links
I would like to be able to add a password on public file request links to protect these file request pages (like how I add passwords on public shared links)

Operation history in box.com/folder/000000000/settings
There isn't a way yet to see how and when the setting was changed. We're trying to know is who and when and how did the Collaboration and Privacy settings change on Admin Console User Activity reports.

Enhanced Box notifications in Microsoft Teams
Enhanced Box notifications in Microsoft Teams
A new feature has been released for receiving Box notifications in Microsoft Teams, but it is limited to a few notifications such as Mentioned Comments.
It would be very useful to extend this feature to receive notifications in Microsoft Teams when uploads or downloads are made in folders you are collaborating on, or when tasks are assigned in Box Relay.

Enhancement to Search (contains instead of exact match)
Currently, when searching for potential collaborators in Share, Box requires you enter in the exact string to search for a user. Users with middle names, unique characters, will not pop up as suggested in Search unless these middle names or unique characters are typed in exactly as written for a user's account.
If we could search for potential collaborators without having to give the exact string, it would be easier and take less time to find potential collaborators in a large enterprise.

Enable excalidraw on box
minimal case: enable preview of excalidraw files. excalidraw is open source (MIT) and strongly draws attention to fast hand-drawn sketches done quickly for more and more people.
optimal: include excalidraw capability editing online, store the file directly in box, enable inline editing similar to office documents.

Instead of stalling/killing workflow when file to be moved is still open, pause and send notifications to close file
Workflows currently stall (=die) if a file is meant to be moved following a task assignment, where the assignee edits the file and "Marks as complete" without having closed the file's tab. This can happen quite commonly: a user is asked to input edits into a file, so they open the file in the relevant Office online app (eg Excel online), and when they're done editing, if they forget to close the Excel online tab in their browser before going back to the BOX preview tab where they click on "Mark as Complete", then the workflow stalls. It would be vastly better if, instead of stalling, BOX/Relay could rather "pause" the workflow and send an email notification to the assignee and/or the workflow owner, asking them to pls close the problematic tab/file, and ideally providing a button in the email that they can click to confirm when they have done it. This can trigger the workflow to try resuming. This basic concept should be applicable in various instances, thus markedly reducing the number of failed workflows, and making the system vastly more robust (which will also increase confidence and adoption...)

Access to file link from search results
When a search is executed in the browser, it is not possible to open a file in the search on another tab. The only option available seemingly is to open on the same tab. It is handy to manage the exploration through the search list to be able to either open a particular file or folder in the search list in a new tab, or copy the file link without having to create a share link to open file in a new tab.

Option to revert accidentally moved files/folders
More often than not users accidentally move files/folders by mistake.
Reverting is nothing but a complete and avoidable nightmare.
The current process is horrendous. Running a report on moves only gives you info on WHO moved the folder and where it was ORIGINALLY. After finally searching for and locating the folder, the Admin Console gives you no options to move the folder. You instead have to granting yourself permission to the parent folder, navigating to your personal Box account and make the move manually. I hope I'm not crazy but this process is in no way intuitive or fun in any way when this happens on a seemingly weekly basis.
Is it really that difficult to put in a button in the report called "revert" to move the folder back to it's original location, or at least TELL US where the folder got moved TO and not where it originally was?

Box Drive Internet Explorer embedded authentication
Box Drive currently utilizes embedded Internet Explorer (IE) for authentication process. Microsoft will end support starting June 15, 2022 for IE. In addition, IE does support all current MFA protocols including FIDO2 (FIDO2 is supported by all other current browsers). We were informed by support that there is no roadmap to correct this and if this is not corrected by June 15, 2022 we will be unable to utilize Box within our organization due to lack of security being presented by Box and it imbedded IE.

About the scope of expiration notice to co-owners.
Currently the expiration of the invited user to a folder is notified to the owner and co-owner of the folder,
however, any co-owner cannot receive the expiration of the invitee of its child folder while owner receives all the expiration notification. We would like to request to cascade the scope of co-owner's privilege to its child folders so that the co-owner of the parent folder can receive all the expiration notification of the descendant folders.

Ability to disable/modify admins receiving ALL collaboration invite notifications
Currently every time someone in our organization shares a file or folder I get an email notification, it gets obnoxious at at times. It seems silly I can't control these notifications. The following need to be able to be turned off,
• Collaboration invitations
• Collaboration invitation acceptancesIn general more control over notifications is ideal, I can't imagine why this would be so difficult. Thank you.

virus metadata
With the virus scan metadata template that is available on an account with shield and virus scan on, I would like to see this metadata applied and visible on all files in my organization, not just those that have been detected as containing malicious content.
It looks like the template was designed for wide spread application since its "scan status" fields contain results such as clean, suspicious, unscanned and unknown along with the malicious result.
In this way we could have better understanding of how the box antivirus saw a file and be more wary when the results are such as unknown, unscanned or suspicious - and even have the ability via reporting to show that the results were 'clean' if asked to do so by auditors.
