Box drive's system extension update
I am running BoxDrive version 2.23.422
After I upgrade my Mac (for example, from BigSur 11.5 -> 11.6), I get an error dialog the first time I try to open Box Drive. It says "Box Drive's system extension failed to load. Please make sure it has been enabled in System Preferences > Security & Privacy and then restart your computer. ....".
Reinstalling Box Drive and restarting the computer doesn't fix it. I found a workaround at https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360051323454-Box-Drive-s-system-extension-failed-to-load which fixes it, but I have to apply that workaround each time I upgrade my computer. The problem should either be fixed, or the workaround should be published officially.
The workaround is:
- sudo cp -rp /Library/Filesystems/box.fs /Library/Extensions
- sudo kextload /Library/Extensions/box.fs/Contents/Extensions/11.0/osxfuse.kext
- reboot

Improve Relay workflow search bar (end user view)
Relay search is hard to use (cursor pointer disappears while typing)

Turn off notifications for the owner of the account on specific tasks not pertaining to this individual. The account owner is receiving notifications for everyone else's tasks and assignments.

Dynamic File Requests
The ability to utilize File Request to send dynamic file requests. We often request multiple files from our clients. These requests can be 25+ items. It would be beneficial to send a list of required information where the client (external user) could could upload the requested file and the file would retain the name of the item on the original list.
The ability for external users (those with the file request) to see what items on the request list have been fulfilled and which items are still outstanding would be ideal.
It would also be extremely helpful to be able to view a dashboard of specific requests to see what items had been provided and what items are still outstanding. I believe this functionality would be useful for all in the professional services industry and all that request numerous files from one person or group. Being able to create request templates for these dynamic file requests would be idea.

Mentions
Specify multiple people at once when commenting on a comment.
You can use @mentions to notify users of files in Box, but I think it is extremely inefficient to have to enter the user name from @ every time.
However, we think it is extremely inefficient to have to type the username from @ every time.
For example, it would be very convenient to be able to specify @mentions with a single click or by copying and pasting.(和訳)

Add the ability for previewer/uploader, viewer, and previewer to preview video files that contain watermarks.
Currently, due to the specifications in the following article, previewer/uploader, viewer, and previewer cannot preview watermark enabled video files from Box.
Box Notes, video, audio, flash, .msi, .exe, .zip, and 3D files do not support watermarking. Enabling this feature prevents previewer uploaders, viewers and previewers from viewing these file types.

For company operations, when sharing video files with users outside the company, it is a rule to collaborate and share with users outside the company with previewer.

Block single user
Our security has deemed a single email as suspicious. We would like to block this single email from connecting to our Box, or being collaborated into our Box.
With Shield we can block the whole domain, but that approach is too broad and would limit too many valid email addresses.

allow user to set view-only mode
Allow me to read a box document or folder in read-only mode. If I accidentally touch or slip with the mouse - I modify the folder/document. "UNDO" will only do a little bit - but in this case I KNOW I am only browsing a folder that I will be contributing to. It's a bit of a downer to see a document marked as modified today (last modification was a year ago by the document creator) because I missed the CTRL button and typed a "c" into the text. UNDO (CTRL-Z) fixed the doc - but now it looks like I'm the modifier. This just seems all wrong.

Shield access policy customization - inclusion/exclusion list for downloading files
Interested in an inclusion/exclusion list FOR downloading files, as part of a Shield access policy.
Ex: If Owners/Co-Owners/Editors are OK to download they want control the file types they can download. I know you can control this by just creating a separate classification and policy but that could cause too many of them. Better to create an filetype inclusion list

Ability to prevent the admin passwords from expiring
We have our copy machines scan documents directly into Box folders. However those processes periodically fail because Box currently has no ability to stop the Administrator password from expiring.
Please allow an option in the Admin Console where you can select to have the Admin password not expire.

Inserting metadata tags for subject line and message fields within Relay
Within Relay, being able to dynamically populate the metadata fields within the email notifications.
An example use case is for lease renewal. We have a metadata template for the leases. One of the metadata fields is property name. One of the steps in the workflow would be to assign a task to execute the lease renewal for a specific property which is triggered by lease renewal date. When setting up the notification for the lease execution task assignment, right now the subject line is very generic and would say Action Required: Execute Lease Renewal - as a better user experience for the broker, it would be more efficient to set up the subject line as Action Required: Execute Lease Renewal For {property name}. It would also be nice to be able to set the same tags into the message of the email too.

Ability to set Default Collaboration Role to Viewer-Uploader
Please allow the ability to set Default Collaboration Role in admin console to Viewer-Uploader.
Currently the only options are Editor or Viewer. Editor is too much access as a default and Viewer is too limited. Please provide Viewer-Uploader as a third option or to replacement Editor role. Viewer-Uploader is a safer option as a default as it allows everything Editor role does except delete. Users are not being mindful when they share content and our support team spends time doing search and rescue. If Viewer-Uploader were the default, safer environment and Box will have better appeal.

Don't point users to the EID's Primary Admin when users try to access a disabled app. This is problematic for our larger customers as it prompts the user to reach out to an email address that may not be monitored or inundates the admin with what should be HelpDesk tickets.

Improve Gmail Integration
I was hoping that the integration with gmail could be as robust as it is with outlook. I really enjoyed the features of the outlook Box integration and now that I'm on gmail it's a huge step backwards.
