RSA Archer Integration
Trying to understand if Box can integrate into RSA Archer (a Governance, Risk, and Compliance tool). We have been unable to find any information on whether Box has this integration and if not what one could look like.

Prioritize specific files for upload
Hi, as someone who has to uploads and shares a lot of large image files through box, each over 1gb, it would be nice to have a way to prioritize which files get uploaded first.

Ability to search by "co-owner" or "editor", I see we can "sort by owners" but that doesn't do any good for users.
We have detailers come in all the time we would like to be able to sort at the "All Folder" zone by "co-owner" or "editor" to ensure detailer gets put in all applicable folders. I see sort by "owner" but no one is that high in the group. the highest we're at is "co-owner" . the sorting feature would allow us to find, add and remove person(s) from folder(s) without having to open every folder and sort through all the users.

Disable File Request Feature in Enterprise Settings
Disabling the File Request feature in enterprise settings should be offered to Admin's of an enterprise that want to restrict any unknown collaborators from uploading content.

Ability to PAUSE during an audio recording in BOX CAPTURE
During an audio recording, be able to PAUSE, then continue with same recording - so all audio is contained in same audio file (for transcription) Example; audio interviews; record intro with identifying information, including confidential ID, pause recording, then invite interviewee into interview, then re-start recording. When we send these files for transcription the confidential identifying information is included at the beginning of each file - but the interviewee is not aware of the confidential ID.

Email notifications for uploads to a folder are very delayed
We would like to request the email service that is responsible for sending upload notifications to be in real time so we do not waste time having to double check with collaborators if they have uploaded something yet.

The verbiage could mean a number of things, and it makes it unclear to the admin what happened. A few of the things that this can mean are: Access type changed to people with the link, access type changed to people in your company, access type changed to invited people only.
Use case:
When security requests reports on links set to open, it is impossible for us to identify specifically when that happened.We would like it if in reporting, we could get some more information when a shared link has been modified. Get User Data For Data Warehouse
If building a data warehouse, would like a way to feed the data from Box directly into a data warehouse without having to use Box reports.

Cross-platform Box Drive with multiple accounts needed
I realize this has been asked for in the past, but dismissed without much explanation of why it is "not planned." I'm the admin of a Box enterprise account. Co-admins in our enterprise org require user-level file access to perform their job duties. While our corporate policy does permit employees to use their Box accounts for personal data, there are numerous issues with this:
1) I travel frequently, and need offline file access, from my computer and devices; can't do that if I have to log out and back in.
2) Box Drive on mobile devices is not particularly useful if I have to keep logging out and back in, nor easy to do with two factor auth using hardware token.
3) We'd have policy conflicts. First, I don't want every personal collaboration showing up as an external collaborator in our Box enterprise account, as those require routine audit. Second, our enterprise settings restrict certain types of collaboration I may want to use for personal collaborators. Third, we have retention policies and governance policies that may conflict with my personal files.
4) Obviously, if I were to end my employment, then it's a big nightmare to extract my data to a personal account.

Provide a way to remove duplicate files throughout a folder and all sub folders
I have a user who copied all the content in multiple folders some how and created duplicate files everywhere in the folder structure. All the duplicate files had a (1) at the end but also had a few files with (email address) at the end as well. Not sure why the (email address) showed up at the end, over the (1).
Never the less, I need a way as an admin or even a user to search for all duplicate files, within a folder/sub folders, and allow me to find all files with *(1) and provide me the list of files without the folder structure in one list. Then provide me an option to select all duplicate files and uncheck a few if necessary with a click delete option.
This could save us a lot of wasted time going into every folder and deleting duplicate files manually.

I couldn't find an app on the Microsoft Store, I can't download it from the website because my laptop has Windows in S mode that doesn't allow installing programs from a website

I need to not have all the oldest files always sync to my desktop and leave all the newest files set by a date.

Folder tree reporting based on user permission
Cannot run a folder tree report out of the admin console due to size constraints. We wants to see folders, “where user is the owner or co-owner.”

shared link password
Currently there is an opportunity for Shared Links with a password to be brute force broken, as there are not any controls in place to disable after unsuccessful attempts. Two options to handle this are:
- Implement the configuration in the Shared Link Password protection option to set the number of unsuccessful attempts
- Implement an audit event that documents an unsuccessful Shared Link Password attempt, so that a custom implementation can monitor the unsuccessful attempts, and react accordingly.28 votesWe'll be evaluating improvements to Shared Links later this year and will provide an update at that time.

box drive for win 8.1
Please port the product to Win 8.1! I don't want to upgrade to Win 10, but would like to use Box Drive!!!!

View folders in Box notes
Right now you see a large collection of recent notes but no folder structure - have a view showing folders.

Opening PDF files using native PDF viewer
Clicking on a PDF should open the PDF in the default PDFviewer (e.g. Bluebeam) instead of previewing the file.

Box Drive and Microsoft Apps like Photos to be able to "save as" back to Box drive.
Users get a low memory error when attempting to "Save As" back to Box Drive. This is a Box Support known issue. Currently users are saving to the desktop and then moving back into Box Drive.
