Add Ability to view Overflow Files in Box
It would be really helpful and can save us alot time if we are able to view the actual Overflow interaction flows in Box. That way we can provide comments and feedbacks on the file. Currently, we can only comment on exported PDF's since Overflow is not supported and can't be viewed.

To default folders to sort files descending not ascending.
Not sure why the Box program does not offer a default for folders/files to sorted descending not ascending. Who or what application does it benefit for the folders/files to be defaulted to the ascending, other than the constant secondary clicking of a mouse to hit the name sort button.

Comments in the preview and the word/docx file should be synchronized
Right now, there are two layers of comments when reviewing a word/docx file. If comments are added in the preview, they are not visible when the file is opened in editing/review mode. Furthermore, if comments are marked as resolved in the online editor, the "resolved" status is not persistent if the file is downloaded, edited offline, and uploaded again as a new version.

Be able to set a particular default search File Type such as "Folders"
Be able to set a particular File Type such as "Folders" be the default file type in search rather than "Any Type." Would like to be able to select a file type as default.

Select and Take Action on Multiple Sign Requests | Bulk actions
With Batch Send now available, higher volume e-signature use cases should become more and more prevalent. It'd be great to have the ability to select multiple Sent Requests for Sending a Reminder, Downloading the document, Canceling the Request, and Deleting the Request, as today this must be done on a one by one basis. This would help Box Sign users manage their requests in a more efficient way.

Allow Importing of slides templates to google slides
Want to be able to import slide templates/themes to Google Slides created from Box.
This feature is available in google slides that are created from Google Drive but somehow not an option in BOX. (https://support.google.com/a/users/answer/9308838?hl=en)

Last modified date affected by added metadata
Good afternoon,
When the metadata for a box file record is updated from the UI or from the api, the last modified date and last modified by is not updated. So, it is clear that nowadays only the content itself matters when updating such metadata but if a document altogether with its metadata is considered a unity, it would be good that the modification date would be also changed by a metadata change.
Please, could you consider to have this implemented?

Restrict number of groups you can invite to certain folder
For certain Shield labels I would like to restrict the number of groups co-owners can invite to avoid unnecessary collaboration.

Restrict users to only some Shield label
Currently you can choose which users can put Shield label to contents.
However, this setting is for the whole tenant but I would like to set different types of users to some Shield label that does not apply to all the Shield labels.3 votes -
Box Image Previews Now Crop the Preview in Grid View
Box Preview now crops the images show in Grid View previews so the user is now unable to see the full image unless clicking in.
The previous Grid View previews were the full image size, which allowed for faster reviews of multiple assets. Clicking into each size now adds a great deal of time to the file review process.
Please consider changing back to the old Grid View preview system. Thank you!

Box Relay: ability to save draft of workflows without setting all the required fields
When we create new workflows or edit existing workflows in Box Relay, we cannot save draft until we complete all the required fields. So we sometimes have to re-create workflows from the begging if we cannot fill in all the fields.
It would be more convenient if we can save draft without setting all the required fields, especially when we create new workflows.3 votes -
Improvement to display a pop-up message when a locked file is opened as read-only
When a locked file is opened in BoxDrive, there are some cases where the user does not realize that the file is read-only and updates the file.
We are aware that the pop-up message can be displayed by enabling the auto-lock option or the lock at prompt option, but this option is limited to Office files only.
We would like to improve the functionality so that all users and all files will have a pop-up message confirming that the file is locked and opened as read-only, even if this option is not enabled.（In Japanese）

BoxDriveでロックされたファイルを開く際、読み取り専用であることに気がつかずファイルを更新してしまうケースが発生しています。
自動ロックのオプションまたはプロンプトによるロックのオプションを有効にすることでポップアップメッセージが表示されることは認識していますが、こちらのオプションはOfficeファイル限定となっています。
こちらのオプションを有効にしていなくても全ユーザーとすべてのファイルに対して、ファイルがロックされているため読み取り専用として開かれていることが確認できるポップアップメッセージが表示されるよう機能の改善を希望します。1 vote -
Copy file url
From a folder, it is easy to create a copy a shared link, as when I hover over the file name, a button appears to the right of the file name. It would be great to be able to copy the file's direct url that easy (as opposed to the 'shared' link)

Allow naming files before uploading on box mobile
My company previously used Box Capture to record videos of our packed product before going out the door to customers. This helped identify skids if lost by the carrier, as well as identify products reported missing by customers. This worked really well for us for many years.
However, Box Capture is no longer supported and "all of the functionality" was supposed to be available with Box Mobile. However, there is one issue that we immediately discovered is different and is costing us extra time. With Box Mobile, you have to upload the video to Box, then go back into the…

Provide easier ways to extend collaboration expiration
Similar to the existing post below but the request is a bit different.

Stop or modify instant suspension of new user email addresses on account setup, or give admins access to your blocklist
When a new user account is set up, a confirmation email is automatically sent to the login address for the account. Currently, if this message is bounced, the user's email address is immediately placed on your block list.
So - I create a new staff email account in 365, then use that email address to set up a Box account. Box immediately sends a confirmation email message - but 365 is having a slow day and the gateway hasn't yet caught up with accepting messages for that address. Trigger rescan for Auto-Classification when adding new classifications
We did not implement Box Shield immediately upon standing up our new environment. After over 1TB of data was uploaded, leadership wanted us to implement new auto-classifications. There is currently no way to force a rescan of all existing documents to apply those new classifications. Going into each folder and copy/pasting, moving, or editing each file is impractical for tens of thousands of uploaded files. Would like a simple way to trigger the rescan without having to engage for a consulting project for box.com to create custom scripts to update the classifications.

Box Web - make file icons smaller
Prologis would like the large file icons in All Files > recent files to be smaller. As they are now, they aren't very helpful - the previews are too small, and you can't see the full name of the file, making it difficult to identify.

Lock folder order in All Files
Prologis would like to be able to create a static folder view in All Files. Defaulting to most recently viewed makes it difficult to find things. It would also be helpful if the file names were larger.
