Disable File Request Feature in Enterprise Settings
Disabling the File Request feature in enterprise settings should be offered to Admin's of an enterprise that want to restrict any unknown collaborators from uploading content.

Cross-platform Box Drive with multiple accounts needed
I realize this has been asked for in the past, but dismissed without much explanation of why it is "not planned." I'm the admin of a Box enterprise account. Co-admins in our enterprise org require user-level file access to perform their job duties. While our corporate policy does permit employees to use their Box accounts for personal data, there are numerous issues with this:
1) I travel frequently, and need offline file access, from my computer and devices; can't do that if I have to log out and back in.
2) Box Drive on mobile devices is not particularly useful…6 votes -
Requesting the ability to upload a file for sharing but set a date/time for when the sharing will start.
In the entertainment business films and music can't be released until a specific date and time. The assets are ready in advance. I would like to create a folder for sharing with a start date and time for the sharing. This way I can invite people to a folder i want to share, but they can't access the content until the approved date and time. A time counter would be great so the person i am sharing with will know when the files will be released.

Ability to PAUSE during an audio recording in BOX CAPTURE
During an audio recording, be able to PAUSE, then continue with same recording - so all audio is contained in same audio file (for transcription) Example; audio interviews; record intro with identifying information, including confidential ID, pause recording, then invite interviewee into interview, then re-start recording. When we send these files for transcription the confidential identifying information is included at the beginning of each file - but the interviewee is not aware of the confidential ID.

Notification when a collaborator is removed
We would love it if there were a way to get immediately notified if the “System Account” group were ever to be removed in the future.

Ability to exclude syncing certain files by type.
Box Drive - exclude syncing certain files by type. I use several software that use this lock file approach and the lock files should NEVER be synced. (sometimes for size reasons, sometimes for frequent uploads and deletes)

change lock default
Allow users to change the default Lock settings. Instead of Unlimited, they should be able to change the default.

Custom error message for disabled user
Currently, if the disabled user accesses box, it shows “Disabled by administrator” and advises them to contact “administrator” only. But there are the possibilities that administrator misses these kind of emails (i.e. Out of office situation). So we would like to add "please contact your administrator or 'co-admin'" for this error message.
Or, allow the admin to modify this message directly would be the best option.6 votes -
Admin reports should differentiate between MFO and Downloads
MFO actions are logged in User Activity Reports as Downloads. However, since MFO is completely a local setting, there currently isn't any logging within the Admin Console that will distinguish between regular downloads and MFO downloads.
We want a way for admin to know if there is MFOed items on user’s machine.

Real time collaborative PDF markup between multiple users. Similar to how the iwork suite can be used collaboratively but with PDF. Drawing tools and iOS integration would be important. maybe using something like https://www.pdftron.com

We have folders that frequently need permission changes and it is much easier to bulk remove all permission and add only users that need access.

Allow the Copy to also include file history
There are times when making a copy of a file should allow version history to be captured as well. Point in Time copies can help with legal matters, and having the version history can help us understand when changes were made, what changes were made and by whom. This shouldn't be on a move ONLY feature but also a copy feature/option.

Geo-Restrictions
Would it possible to consider a geo-restriction setting so that an admin user has the option of restricting the location of collaborators and shared link recipients, to certain geographical locations.

Drag and Drop between two browser tabs of the Box Webapp
Allow drag and drop of files and folders from the Box Webapp on one browser tab to the Box Webapp in another browser tab. We often need to search through a large list of project related files to find the place we would like to store information that was created in multiple task related folders. We want to be able to open a task related folder on one tab and the project folder on another tab and then just drag and drop between the tabs. Otherwise, we end up re-searching for the project in the copy and move menu numerous…

Access the Admin Console via the iPad application
Users with a co-admin or primary admin designation should be able to access the Admin Console when logged into the Box for iPad application (vs having to use the web browser)

Add exFAT file system support
Add support for Box Sync to work with exFAT formatted file systems (this is the best file system when trying to swap between PC and Mac).
