Automatically generate a password for the shared link
I would like to request the addition of a feature that generates a random password meeting the password requirements on the screen where users create an open sharing link and are prompted to set a password.

Ready-Sign Links: Ability to make signers optional
Currently, ready-sign links require all signers to be assigned (i.e. I must enter an email address for signer 1 and signer 2). This means that one can't create a ready-sign link when multiple signers might be (but aren't always) needed.
Examples:
A registration form for an event where all attendees in the party need to sign. If there is only one attendee, there are no additional signers (and those fields would be left blank)

Ability to identify password protected files(パスワード付きファイルを特定する機能)
If a file is password protected, Box Shield's deep scan cannot be performed.

I like to be able to see on the "Saved Reports" screen whether scheduled report is still active.
Currently, the "Report Status" screen does not allow you to determine whether a saved report is enabled for regular output, so you must check the "End Date" on the "Edit Schedule" screen, which requires some work.
I would like to see the display improved so that it is easier to understand that regular output is enabled on the "Saved Reports" screen.

Singapore Zones
We would like to have Singapore Zones as a main storage country.
Currently you can select Singapore as a back up of Japan but not as a main country.

I want to change the preview size when embedding the preview into BoxNotes. / BoxNotesへプレビュー埋め込みする際にプレビューサイズの変更を行いたい。
When I insert a shared link into BoxNotes, the default preview size takes up a lot of vertical space when displayed as a preview, and it gets in the way.
I would like the ability to resize the preview display, minimize it like the preview display of an external link, or collapse the preview screen.

Feature request for display of overlapping connector wires in Box Canvas
I would like to see an improvement in the display when the connect lines overlap.
Connect lines intersect in a straight line, but I would like to see the addition of a feature that avoids them when they do, like Omni Graffle or Microsoft Visio.

Extension of the number of versions limit when using Governance
We would like to be able to extend the maximum number of versions that can be set in the management console to about 2000-3000.
When we subscribe to Box Governance, we can choose to have unlimited versions of files or 1~100 versions.
We are currently using unlimited, but sometimes we find that files with many versions (e.g. restoring from the Recycle Bin) are slow.

Metadata “number” format supports comma “,”.
In order to comply with the Electronic Bookkeeping Act, amounts are entered in "number" format in the metadata.In this case, we would like to enter a comma "," as a separator to prevent errors in the number of digits. Currently, the "Number" format only allows numbers to be entered.If we select "Text" as the format, we can enter a comma ",". Problem with workbook link in Excel
we have a problem with some excel files with embedded workbook links pointing to a BOX folder.
Today, after enabling BOX for Microsoft Office (desktop) some of these links changed from:C:\users\username\BOX\Boxdrivername\Boxfoldername
To
api.box.com\userName\BOX\Boxdrivername\Boxfoldername
thus giving a file not found error when we reopen the "master" excel file.
How can we solve this problem?
Below is the procedure for reproducing the error.
Starting Configuration:
BOX drive installed: YES
Enabled Box for Microsoft Office Coauthoring: NO
In this example, the original file (test.xlsx) contains a link to a second file (linkedworkbook.xlsx) . As you can see the path is C:\users\svacchini\BOX\CIT.......…4 votes -
File request metadata type to search instead of drop down
I have metadata attribute with over 100 items. In our workflow artwork is submitted for review. Upon submission key attributes need to be selected during the file request process. Type to search would be far more effective then a drop down in this scenario. Can you make it so it's drop down, but if someone types in, the drop down filters based on what is typed?
