Box AI Describe Changes in File Versions
It would be useful if Box AI was able to tell me what has changes between different versions of documents.
For example, if my coworkers were updating a report or presentation while I was out of the office, it would be great if I could ask Box AI what changes have happened in the past x-number of days to the document to quickly bring me up to speed.

Toggle for automatically opening documents in a new tab
Either allowing Right Click on suggested search bar results or creating a toggle where clicking a document/picture/file/etc opens it in a new tab instead of on the current tab. I am SO tired of hitting the back arrow/duplicating pages when I need to open more than one document at a time

Filter on multiple text values in text data type
Currently, a metadata field needs to already be a multiselect to use the Match Any to allow form multiple match cases for a given metadata field. If the data type is a text field you and only match on one value.
Essential, we would like to be able to create an OR conditional match on multiple values for a text field when querying metadata in a Box App View.

In Doc Gen I would like to be able to conditionally display an item in a list of items based on evaluation of an item property value or values using the standard evaluation rules. For example,

"Favorites" option for applying signers to a document
If 90% of the sign documents you generate need to be signed by a unique person, but then by two internal people, it would be nice if you could select from a "favorites" list.
So, each sign document has a unique underlying document, but the signers are, for the most part, always the same. Rather than entering "tom smith, mary jones, john white" for each document, you could just select "AR Group" from a favorites list.4 votes -
More robust in-line editing for Box App views
Currently inline editing is limited to single select metadata values. It would be great if this could be expanded to other data types, especially multiselect and date.

Add further columns to Shared Links report
In order to prepare a csv file to bulk update existing shared links, it is necessary to
A) run TWO reports - a BOX USERS Report (CLI command), and a SHARED LINKS ReportIf however, you wish to provide a list of shared links to each Box user who created the link(s), then a THIRD report is needed, a USER ACTIVITY Report (for max years, Items Shared action). This report needs to be filtered to show only the latest date/user that created the link (NB a shared link may be created more than once)

We would like to make only files with a specific metadata template assigned eligible for publication in Hubs.
When publishing a folder to Hubs, all files under the target folder are published, which quickly exceeds the file limit for using Box AI for Hubs.
When publishing a folder, I want to filter and publish only the necessary files that have unique metadata (e.g., contracts, proposals, etc.) under that folder to the Hub, so that Box AI can be used more efficiently.

Hubsにフォルダを掲載する時、対象フォルダ配下のすべてのファイルが掲載され、Box AI for Hubsを利用できるファイル上限数をすぐに超過してしまいます。

Expand number of folders displayed in folder hierarchy
Our team works in incredibly deep folder structures and would appreciate the opportunity to view all subfolders in the folder hierarchy to more easily navigate through our folder structure. For example, if someone shares a file with me and it's in the "trailers" folder, it's very difficult for me to tell which project this is associated with unless I navigate many levels up in the folder structure to see a folder with the project name. Ability to exclude invitation restrictions in tenant settings in Hubs
We would like the ability to add folders with editor privileges in Hubs, even if only co-owners or higher can be invited in the tenant settings, so that it does not affect the invitation restrictions in the tenant settings.
Anticipate that many companies will not be able to change the invitation restrictions on the tenant side due to personnel issuances, security risk avoidance, etc.
Like to see this feature implemented, as it would improve the convenience of Hubs if there is a function to prevent tenant settings from affecting Hubs.テナント設定で共同所有者以上のみ招待可能な場合でも、Hubsでは編集者権限を持つフォルダを追加できるように、テナント設定の招待制限には影響しないようにする機能が欲しいです。

Allow Box AI summaries to display by default when a file is opened or selected
It would be helpful if Box AI could automatically show the summary panel by default when a user selects a file or opens it in preview.
Currently, users must manually trigger the AI to see summaries.
For workflows involving many files, default visibility of summaries would improve usability and make Box AI insights more accessible and efficient.4 votes -

Currently, you can select not only the "file that triggered the flow" but also the "folder that triggered the flow."
However, this only copies the folder, not the items contained within it.
To avoid complicating the workflow for a single folder, make sure the folder contents are also copied.Box Relayを使用して、アップロードしたフォルダを別のフォルダ内にアイテムと一緒にコピーしたい

Easy access the original file from the user interface after signing is completed
We use Box Sign frequently in our work.
In the current specifications, after signing is completed, the "Sign Completed Screen" or the "Box Sign List Screen" is displayed.After a file has been signed, there are many cases where additional work needs to be done in the location where the original file is stored.
However, we find it very inconvenient that we cannot reach the folder where the original signature file is saved unless we trace it back from the top folder.Please prepare a link to access the original file (or the folder where the original file is saved)…

Request for Partial Upgrade to Box Enterprise Advanced.
We would like to partially upgrade to the Box Enterprise Advanced plan, rather than applying it to the entire tenant. This would allow us to conduct testing in a real environment, which could ultimately lead to a full company-wide upgrade.
Box Enterprise Advancedのプランについてテナント全体ではなく部分的にアップグレードを可能にしたい。このことによって実際の環境での検証が可能になり、最終的に全社でのアップグレードにもつながる可能性がある。

Support Document Tabs in Google Docs.
I am a heavy user of Document Tabs [1] to help with my productivity and organization when using Google Docs.
However, if I create a Google Doc from Box or if I save my Google Doc from Google Drive into Box, the document tabs that I use are removed and the document tab feature is disabled. Because I don't have this feature, I am avoiding the creation of my Google Docs and storing my Google Docs in Box because it is causing a major disruption to my productivity.

Add new formats to formatting text tags (年月日, yyyy/mm/dd)
Please make the text tags specified in DocGen templates compatible with the date formats commonly used by Japanese customers.
These are formats that are very commonly used in contracts and invoices.
1. yyyy/mm/dd → 2025/06/06
2. yyyy/m/d → 2025/6/6
3. yyyy年mm月dd日 → 2025年06月06日
4. yyyy年m月d日 → 2025年6月6日ーーーーーーーーーーーー

Ability to Customize Styling of Box Sign Email Notifications
Hi Box Support,
I’d like to submit a feature request for Box Sign regarding the email notifications that are sent to recipients when requesting signatures.
Currently, these emails appear to use a standard layout and font, with limited ability to customize the visual presentation. It would be extremely helpful to have the option to customize the email’s styling, including:
