First search with detaled contents filters
Currently the initial search for Box items can be filtered by only three types of contents, then you can squeeze the first search results with more detailed filters, like tags or size etc.
It would be better to be able to use those detailed filters from the beginning.9 votes -
Box Drive Bandwidth Usage - Can I pause or limit?
"Every time my Box Drive is syncing large (200-500mb) files, it uses as much bandwidth as it can. While in the office, this was rarely an issue. But, working from home, the rest of my household notices very slow internet while I am syncing files. "
Please add a feature that allows us to limit the bandwidth of Box Drive.

The "Other Options" menu is missing
The menu display of "Other Options" is cut off.
I want the menu display to be always displayed in its entirety.When files and folders are at the top of the screen, "Other Options" may not be displayed at all.

Ability to Enable/Disable Annotations
We would like to request for a feature to be able to enable/disable Annotations.
Annotations is very convenient, but sometimes it could make users confusing, if they do not know how to use it.

Modify the default published Relay template
There are some Relay templates that Box provides by default that are not available to our company.
Therefore, we would like to control whether or not the default templates are published by tenants.
Also, we would like to publish the templates that we have created as targets.

Uploading restrictions for folders to which Box Shield's "External Collaborator Restrictions" are applied
We would like to be able to restrict users from uploading files and folders to folders to which BoxShield's "External Collaborator Restrictions" have been applied by dragging and dropping them into the browser.
By granting users the authority to edit and prohibiting uploads, it will be possible to more clearly distinguish between file management and access authority management, and allow editing while maintaining a level of security.(In Japanese)

Search for keywords in File content and not only in file names
Just like Explorer search, Box should be able to list PDF files that contain the keywoard in their content and not only in the File name.
Example:

Show Auto-Classification Criteria Matches on Classification Label On File
Auto-classification matches are currently stored within metadata on a file. If auto-classification classifies a piece of content, we'd like for the classification label indicator on a file (or hovering over the label) to show what criteria was met which requires a specific label. The purpose of this is to have a visual indicator to reinforce the sensitivity of content within a file.

Scheduled Lock/Unlock capability
Add a feature that where owners can set up a reoccurring automated lock and unlock for day and time of the week. Same as you see in office outlook for reoccurring meetings, but with a locked file. This way users can only access the file/log during specific times and the owner can work the file when it's locked again. Currently, this is all manual and can cause issues when a report is still locked and users in different time zones need to add items to a log before a specific time in PST. Customize default view
The side bar that shows who the folder/file is shared with always appears and takes up way to much space so I always close it. I wish I didn't have to close it all the time and my preferred view was remembered or I can customize my views in my account

Register multiple certificates in the certificate presence function of Device Trust.
Currently, only one certificate can be registered in the certificate presence function of Device Trust. This makes it very inconvenient when the certificate expires. Please make it possible to register multiple certificates to eliminate the time when the function cannot be used.

Two factor authentication as standard for business customers
Two factor authentication is the standard for securing accounts. I was therefore surprised to learn that enforcing two factor authentication on the business subscription package is not an option. Requiring two factor authentication is only available on the top enterprise price plans.
This is disappointing, as it means businesses customers who use Box, their staff can bypass any requirement to use two factor authentication. It increases the risk of a breach of company data due to a bad password practices by an employee, like using the same password across many different services. We want to be able to assign Tasks to a Box Note similar to the way you can add a General Task or Approval Task to a document.

Retention policy should be able to remove folders in addition to files.
Currently the governance retention policy only delete files. We are using the integration with Oracle NetSuite and as such we have a folder that then gets a folder setup for each Case as we are sending and/or receiving data from customers via the Case we have with them. The policy is set to get data for 30 days. The files are getting removed, however, the folders still exist. This makes it challenging when you look from the Box web interface. It would be nice to have the ability to set folders to remove if they are empty.

Report or visibility into folders set up to receive emails and upload files to Box
It would be super helpful to know as an Admin any folders that are set up to accept emails and upload files to box folders. There is no report or visibility in this. As cyber attacks increase, we need to verify and make sure we know all of our external facing components - not knowing what folders has this component is a concern we have.

Security Logs to add changes to Device Trust requirement settings
We would like to see in security logs to add changes to Device Trust requirements settings and possibly to get notifications for when certain enterprise settings are modified.

Integrate Workshare Compare into BOX.
Workshare Compare is the legal industry standard program for marking one version of a document against a prior version. Microsoft Work includes similar functionality but most large law firms, many small law firms, and many corporate legal departments use Workshare Compare. Thank you.

Collect user info when a box link is shared with non-box users
The goal is to require non-box users enter their first, last name and email before accessing a Box shared link set to permission "People with the link".
I.E, user will click on the link, re-direct to a sign up page requiring first, last name and email. After submitted they are routed to the training videos hosted on Box.
