Expose Box's "Notification Email" field to SAML provisioning and syncing
The "Notification Email" functionality in Box is very helpful for @mentions, file sharing invites and other user notificaitons that need to go to an email address other than the email address used to sign into Box. This can be the necessary when a company has subsidiaries on a common directory infrastructure, but one or more subsidiaries is still maintain the old email identities for day to day work. There are likely other reasons to use this field.

Removal of restrictions on the number of contents displayed in the Trash Box
The limit on the number of contents that can be displayed in the Recycle Bin without using a marker base will be removed. Contents of 150 pages or more will be displayed in the Recycle Bin without limitation.

Add file count to Folder Properties
Folder properties on browser based app should display the number of files in the folder. We use Box for photoshoot asset sharing while still in production (before moving to our DAM) and it's really a pain to verify file count.

Box Sign - Ability to send templates from All Files
The "Sign - Templates" section in Box used to send templates has a lack of folders and filtering which leads to no ability for us to organize or filter our templates. However the "All Files - (Saved templates folder)" already has the ability to create folders, organize templates and see templates (the blue icon). We would love to be able to send templates with the fields in the document (like in the sign - templates section) from the "All files" folder.

Ability to link the task function of MS Teams to the task function of Box
Request a function that can link the task function of Box and the task function of Teams of M365.
Specifically, I want to be able to manage tasks from the task function of Teams, although the content exists on Box.Currently, it is necessary to receive task notifications by e-mail, access BoxWeb and approve them, but by implementing this function, it is possible to receive and approve notifications at the same time, improving business efficiency.

Box API for creating a File Request
For customers that require several Box File Requests to be created frequently and uniquely in business workflows, there needs to be a method to create them programmatically to properly scale the solution.

Unique domain name for Box Sign
To minimize Box Sign being blocked by customers who block app.box.com, Box Sign should have its own unique domain name. Example, sign.box.com.

Drag to re-order lists and tables in Box Notes
I use lists in Box Notes quite frequently for lists of tasks or priorities. After entering the list items, I often wish to reorder the items. If you could add a simple drag to re-order list items behavior, lists would be a far more useful capability within notes.
This same drag to re-order functionality would also be very useful in tables within Box Notes

Allow variables for folder name creation
I need to create unique folder names as part of Folder Action outcome in Relay. This could be a simple as appending a date stamp or date/time stamp to the end of the predefined folder name, or use the file name that triggered the workflow as the folder name. Some options for creating discrete files names would be very helpful.

Hide user in autocomplete
Similar to how you can hide users from the GAL in Exchange, I would like the ability to hide certain accounts from the auto complete when adding as a collaborator. You would still be able to invite the user by entering in the full email address.

File Request+Metadata issue : Unexpected changing number via mouse operation
When requesting a number field of metadata with a file request link, the number may changes unintentionally due to the user's scrolling the mouse.
Can you improve the input field of the file request so that it is not affected by mouse scrolling?10 votes -

I want to be able to create a private folder for myself within a shared folder where I am the owner and many others are editors/viewers.

UI display on box links to indicate utility of Box for ECI or CUI
I just noticed the ECI/CUI restrictions on shared Box folders. The fact that I was caught off guard about these restrictions, even though it is very clearly written at the time of requesting a Global Share folder, means I suspect many others LM employees are as well. I am concerned about the potential for misuse, especially the way Box was sold as DX for LM, etc. It seems like ANY shared Box link should have a large, bold banner that says NO ECI or CUI permitted.
Parenthetically, these restrictions make Box useless for all of my programs and projects.

Launch study.ambradicom files on double-click
BOX is retiring their DICOM solution at the end of the year, and replacing it with Ambra DICOM. Study files created by the old BOX solution are named "Study.boxdicom" and can be launchd into the BOX DICOM viewer by simply double-clicking on the filename. This is not true for the new Ambra "study,ambradicom" files. In order to view them, you have to clcik on the triple-ellipses. select "Integrations", and then "View DICOM".
I would like to have the ability to simply double-click on the new "study.ambradicom" filename and have it launch the Ambra viewer.

Ability to have Automatic sorting enabled post file rename
It would be nice to have Box simply update a name after the file has been renamed. As of right now, it's difficult to start on a folder renaming image files, closing out, then coming back in and all of the files have been automatically sorted alphabetically, which is a nightmare for images that have ascending or descending filenames. If we could just save changes as-is and have everything still in place when we log back in after closing out of the folder, that would be very useful so that one could simply pick back up where they left off.

Add .pxd file extensions to the approved list of files supported. This if for an illustration software called Pixelmator Pro.

Box Sheild - Improved alert policies
We are based out of the US but have a few users based out of other countries. As of now, every time they access Box we get an alert for a suspicious login location. We can exclude the entire country, which we do not wish to do or we can exclude a specific IP. It would be great if we could create a IF THEN statement. Example: IF user = *@specificdomain.com AND location=specific country THEN SuspiciousLocationAlert=False.
To summarize, additional configuration of alerts would be very beneficial.

Alert on folder names not allowed in Box web
Box Drive will alert when a folder name isn't valid. Would be nice that there would be a way to not allow folder names in Box web when Box Drive doesn't support it.

Ability to specify display sheet in URL
<How to specify the Excel display sheet by URL>
If you add "#p = number of pages" to the end of the URL, you can display the specified page in PowerPoint or Word.
In Excel, there was no way to specify the URL of the sheet to be displayed when accessing.
We need the ability to specify an Excel sheet in a URL.

URLの後ろに「#p=ページ数」を付与すると、PowerPointやWordでは指定のページを表示することができます。
Excelではアクセス時に表示するシートをURL指定する方法がありませんでした。
URLでExcelのシートを指定する機能を必要としています。
