Special characters searchable in content manager
The ability to search with the filename and extension within quotes, i.e. workshop.one
Right now search separates the two and makes it difficult to locate the file, as it would be searching for "workshop one"

Unable to see folders users have access to through Group invitations
A group is given access to a folder on Box (ie Project A). When the admin views what folders a specific user in Project A has access to, it does not show the collaborated folder for Project A

New 'Limited' Content Manager Permission - No ability to preview or download files/folders
A new co-admin option that's more even more restrictive than the current 'View users' content' Content Manager role with the following abilities:
--View users (like currently possible)
--Browse user folder trees (like currently possible)
--View file properties (uploaded, version #, modified, name, description, etc.)
--View collaborators on folders and add new collaborators to folders
--NO ability to preview or download files or folders (this is the critical item that's missing currently for Coke as even the 'view' Content Manager role currently allows the co-admin to preview and download files/folders)This could possibly also be solved by breaking up the Content…

The User Filter is built to only look at the list of current, managed users, so it would be quite difficult to include deleted users.

Report on who deleted from trash
Currently we have configured our Box instance to disallow end users to delete files, only for Admins and not even auto-delete items after X days. However, we are looking for some record/log of this.

Streamline process of adding collaborators to content
Our users often create their own personal folders and then attempt to share them with their colleagues via shared links. If their colleague has not been added to the file/folder as a collaborator, they will hit a page that says "This shared file or folder has been removed or is unavailable to you." They will then email/message the content owner to request access and/or ask if they have the wrong link. This creates a lot of ad-hoc messages and emails.

Invite Box Groups from Another Tenant
Currently, when inviting users who belong to a different tenant to our tenant, each user must be invited individually. This process is time-consuming and inefficient.
We would like the ability to invite users from another tenant by group, rather than having to invite them one by one.（InJapanese）

Request for Hubs Version History Feature
Customer Pain Point & Concern:
Our customer is highly concerned about the risk of editors accidentally deleting or overwriting pages or sections within Hubs. Currently, there is no built-in version control or version history feature for Hubs (similar to what is available in Box Notes). More visibility of 'find and replace' feature
Regarding the search and replace function in Box Note— beyond displaying it with Ctrl+F, are there any plans to make it more accessible, such as adding it to the three-dot menu (⋯) or another more visible location?

Request to Change Message Sending Shortcut in Box AI
I would like Box AI to use the Enter key for line breaks and Ctrl+Enter for sending messages.
Currently, in Box AI, pressing Enter immediately sends the message, which sometimes causes messages to be sent unintentionally while still being written.
Please make it possible to configure sending with Ctrl+Enter, either as an optional setting or as the default behavior

Sync Box to an external hard drive
This should go without saying, but internal hard disks are far too small for cloud storage to sync, especially when using the cloud storage for large files such as video editing. We have several Terabytes of data on ours that we access all the time, as a group of editors. It's an absolute dealbreaker that we're forced to use the default location of the local drive to sync files using Box Desktop, and we would like the option of choosing an external hard drive or even a secondary internal drive to sync to. Make folder retention policies non-removable (or always visible) to Editors
Today, Editors can remove the visible retention policy from a file or folder’s details panel, even though the underlying non-modifiable retention policy remains active in the background. This means that after an Editor removes the visible policy, there is no indication in the UI that retention still applies, which makes it appear as though the content is not under retention at all.
This behavior causes confusion for end users and admins, and makes it harder to support clear records management and compliance because enforced retention is not transparently visible in the interface.

Enforce signer-only access and security controls in Box Sign
It would be helpful to have the ability to restrict access to Box Sign documents to signers only.
Currently, additional protections such as password or login can be configured, but access itself is not strictly limited to the intended signers, which may create a risk of unintended access.
It would be great if admins could enforce signer-only access at the organizational level, ensuring that only designated signers can view the documents sent via Box Sign.

Make Folder Auto-Delete Retry Past-Due Items
Please improve Folder Automatic Actions so that folders with a deletion date in the past are also included in later auto-delete runs.
Currently, if deletion fails on the scheduled date for any reason, the folder remains undeleted afterward.
Requested change:
configured deletion date = processing date
→ configured deletion date <= processing date
This would make auto-delete more reliable even when processing is missed due to maintenance or a temporary issue.【In Japanese】
