Customize default view
The side bar that shows who the folder/file is shared with always appears and takes up way to much space so I always close it. I wish I didn't have to close it all the time and my preferred view was remembered or I can customize my views in my account

Auto-size content search manager as you go down the tree
When using the content search manger, the further you go down the tree the less of the folder name you see. This view should auto-expand to show the full name of the folder not just the the first couple characters.

I have several reviewers that need independent approve/reject in parallel (simultaneously) rather than serially.
We have 5 reviewers for a task, each having different elements they are responsible for reviewing. Currently we can require they each approve independently, however if one rejects the task is ended for all, regardless of whether they've reviewed it or not, approved it or not.
We need 100% independent approve/reject

Change File Request to accept emails that begin with a number
File request currently flags an email that begins with a number as an invalid email and won't let the user continue with that email. Please update to accept emails that begin with a number.

File request custom theme transparent logo suggestion tooltip
When putting themes for file request, using logos with existing color backgrounds does not look as clean. It would be great to add a tooltip suggestion to use a transparent logo for the user designing the theme.

Sort order when User Activity reports filter is selected.
The content is sorted by content ID, but since it cannot be sorted, visibility is poor, so we want to sort by name, etc.

There should be option in box to export or share a file to other apps instead sharing link. It only provides link option to send file.

I want Capture to upload photos in landscape direction & be able to edit before upload
Would like to be able to edit a photo on capture before it uploads, for example, crop, flip direction, & add text. Similar to what you can do on Microsoft teams when you send a photo thru chat.
We should also be able to take a photo in landscape mode and have it upload in that direction. Right now if I upload a landscape photo I have to open it on Box and flip it. It's very time consuming.1 vote -
Directly to presentation mode for PowerPoint files when clicking on URLS to box
Box should be able to create a URL that will allow the users to display the power point in presentation mode without extra clicks.

Option to have an approval that’s only visible to a specific group. Signer can see checkbox that comes with “approval” button, but as POps we do not want a signer to see that someone else has approved their document

I would like a report that includes the URL for folders.
Currently we copy an ID number from our database and go to Box. We then paste the ID number into Box to locate the file we want to work in. I have recently created a field that will hold that URL and at the click of a button, the database will copy the link, go to browser and paste in the URL - a lot of time savings in our workflow. The issue I am having it is taking a long time to collect all the URLs. I would like an admin report that would allow me to export the…

Allow One-Off Reissue of Custom Terms of Service in Box
If a user ever rejects a custom terms of service, they are not able to access Box or attempt to connect via the collaboration link. It seems that they could try again in 30 days (we have not tested, this is way too long to wait for a time-out).
The only resolution to allow the single external collaborator to "reset" the ToS and accept them to sign in is to disable and re-enable custom ToS for all users.
This is a major problem - we should not have to revalidate all ToS for EVERY user to resolve an issue for…

Admin Reports - User Activity -> Actions needs a field for if the user triggered or an automation like Box Drive triggered
When you see "downloaded" next to Box Drive for the action, you dont know if it was a folder marked for offline just downloading automatically, or if the user is actively opening the file...this needs clarity!

Leverage QR codes & Capture to organize things that business physically must keep
Sometimes business legally have to keep a physical copy of a document fo so long. So while it may be scanned & added in box, it would be nice to know where the physical doc is. Using QR codes & leveraging capture, you could make a system where you can scan a box to see what is all in it or the inverse, search for the doc in box & then find out which box it is in. You could also pull in governance features to let you know when it is time to discard the physical copy.

Add tasks to main API
I am trying to use the tasks feature as a method of notifying our automation software that it has work to do via your API. However, I can find no method for a user to list all their tasks. Your web app has an undefined endpoint:xxxxxx.app.box.com/app-api/tasks/inbox?limit=10&taskcollaboratorrole=ASSIGNEE&taskstatus=INPROGRESS,NOT_STARTED

I prefer Google Docs/Sheets over Box Notes because of this functionality.
Adding this functionality would be a huge value add.

Launch Zoom inside of Box
Launch a Zoom video from directly inside of Box web UI, Box Notes, etc.
The same way that you can launch a Google Meet video conference directly inside of Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.

New Authentication Process at sign in
The new authentication process is forcing us to use two step authentication even with our ATB Email address' every time we enter or come back after a period of time.
I am really hopeful that this is being looked into as its the most inconvenient. Our CSR's do not have business devices for google authenticator nor does the text feature seem to work to the branch office phones and when you ask it to call it takes a bit for the phones to ring and connect and cuts half the message off so we don't get a code.
