Support for Other Templates and Legacy File Formats
Hi Team,
We are looking for Box Drive and Box Web to support additional Word, Excel, and other office templates and file formats so we can save these into Box.
Currently Box only supports a few modern formats like .docx and .xlsx for word and excel for example, but we are using several other templates and formats as you can see in the screenshot below.
Please consider broader support for other types of files for office going forward.

Option to disable Box notices in Microsoft Teams Chat
Customer would like the option to disable notices for Box features in Microsoft Teams Chat. Examples are "Upload file to Box" and "Share file from Box".

Expaned Classification Policy Scale and Functionality
A large enterprise customer is currently evaluating the effectiveness of Box's classification policies and need to audit their configurations to ensure they align with intended design and behavior. However, given current UI constraints that only show up to 100 folders listed under a classification policy (even though there are ~600 items under the policy), the only way to view or verify policy construction is to delete and rebuild these policies. Display more info in "Groups" tab of "Users & Groups" menu and the link to the shared folders the group has access to
It would be great to have more info in the group tab, like:
* More columns: display "Permissions settings" and if it's synched from external or created locally on box.com
* Also on the shared folder when we go to a group, need the lin to the folder, there's only the name and we need to go to different menu to try identify the good folder shared (there can be many with same name, need to find the good one shared to the group, often too difficult)1 vote -
Template Password Setting Function (retain password for placeholder recipients)
A feature that allows passwords set in a template to be saved and reused when using the same template.

I am struggling with basic functionality of box i.e. sharing a folder with external users.
I followed simple steps to use box application to share some business information with external stakeholder.
1. Created a folder
2. Uploaded my files
3. Clicked on share button at the top right corner and added the email addresses of folks I want to share with
4. Gave them viewer accessResult:
1. I can see in sharing panel these new users have pending requests
2. The users get email notification to access the folder but when they click they get an error 403.It has happened multiple times, for some users the process is smooth, others it always throws…

Shield Dashboard Enhancement Request - View detailed reports directly from dashboard graphs
The Shield dashboard shows three different graphs about detected alerts, but in order to get the details, we have to output a separate user activity report.
Since we want to see problems immediately on the spot, we would like to see improvements that would allow us to quickly see the details of alerts without having to leave the dashboard UI, such as being able to click on a graph to be taken to a page with more detailed information.Shieldダッシュボードには、検出されたアラートに関する3種類のグラフが表示されていますが、その詳細を取得するためには、別途ユーザーアクティビティレポートを出力しなければなりません。

We are experiencing an issue where the layout of PDF files is distorted on the preview screen. For example, issues such as line breaks being misaligned or fonts being changed from the original PDF file are occurring. We understand that your company's support site states that you cannot guarantee 100% reproducibility, but we have received strong requests for improvement from customers who have signed contracts with us and use Box, so we would appreciate it if you could proceed with the improvement.
プレビュー画面でPDFファイルのレイアウトが崩れてしまうという現象が発生している。例えば、改行の位置がずれている、フォントが元のPDFファイルから変わってしまっている、といった現象が発生している。100％の再現性を保証しないことは貴社のサポートサイトに記載されていて理解していますが、弊社と契約を結びBoxをご利用いただいているお客様から強い改善要望をいただいており、改善を進めていただきたく宜しくお願いします。

Select multiple Box Notes for AI query
Currently multiple Box Notes cannot be selected for an AI query. Multiple documents can be, but not Notes. This should be a capability that is available.

Save search filter settings
In an environment where you frequently deal with specific files, setting filters every time you search for a file can be tedious and reduces work efficiency.
I wish there was an option to keep search filter settings or not.-in Japanese-

folder-setting to restrict who can classify content.
Want more granular control over who can apply classification labels — specifically:
Restrict end users from applying classifications to content that is shared via public/shared links.
Allow only folder owners or admins to apply classifications in those scenarios.
Still allow end users to apply restrictive/internal-only classifications to content that is not publicly shared (i.e., stays within the organization).

admin reports free version
Is there a way to review whether an invited collaborator has downloaded anything from the shared folder? I have a collaborator that is fearful that his access may have been hacked and we are trying to figure out if anyone tried to download any files from the shared folder. I have the free version so I'm not sure if I have any reporting tools.

Allow for Custom Terms of Service that are different for each folder. Currently, the Terms of Service apply to the whole account regardless of content/folder.

When removing access to Content page, please allow us to remove access to the File Request Link tab as well
When configurating a Co-Admin for Reporting Only rights, it enables the Content link in addition to reporting. Ideally, they would just see the 'Reporting' link under the Co-Admin links. I assume this is because reporting encompasses running reports as well as seeing other reports. The odd thing is that the Content section shows folders for Prior User for some reason. Ideally they wouldn't see Content section, or the right could be spiked out to allow them to see their own reports, but not others so no 'Content' link would be needed. Customizable Disclaimer Box When First Accessing Box AI
Would like to have a customizable box that an end user could check that they have read when first using Box AI - this box could point to our AI governance and terms. Ideally, they check that they've read the disclaimer and can then us Box AI against their files.

Admin View for Large Content Moves
Iterating on a feature request ["Indicators / Progress Bar for Large Folder Operations (Moves, Ownership Transfers, Delete, Copy)"]
It would be great for an admin to have a holistic view of content moves across the enterprise. A report with triggered moves in progress could be a good start (including triggering action/user, folder ID and name, etc), with an eye toward a progress bar or something more detailed in the admin console.

Bulk change link permissions for subfolders and files
As it stands if you create a folder with shared link permissions to be invited people only and then you add files and subfolders, if you change the permissions of the parent folder to change to anyone in your company, they don't propagate, nor do files added after inherit the parent folders permissions which were changed previously. It would be good if when making a change that you are prompted to allow waterfall permissions to subfolders and files or to not. There's no need for the "Launching Application" popup... I know its opening, I just clicked for it to open...
When selecting “Open With” and opening a file this notification pops up:

... is opening in Adobe Acrobat. Saving your file will save changes directly back to
Box.Lock file to prevent others from editing it
This is not necessary. It adds no functionality. I KNOW its opening, I just asked it to open by clicking OPEN. Then I have to click CLOSE to move on to the next step?
