Allow naming files before uploading on box mobile
My company previously used Box Capture to record videos of our packed product before going out the door to customers. This helped identify skids if lost by the carrier, as well as identify products reported missing by customers. This worked really well for us for many years.
However, Box Capture is no longer supported and "all of the functionality" was supposed to be available with Box Mobile. However, there is one issue that we immediately discovered is different and is costing us extra time. With Box Mobile, you have to upload the video to Box, then go back into the Box folder to name the file. This is an unnecessary step that takes extra time and can lead to mistakes. On Box Capture, you could name the file before uploading to Box.
In my mind, this just makes sense to introduce this functionality to Box Mobile. PRETTY PLEASE!

Ability to change the Date Field format
Currently the date field is automatically filled based on the signer's PC device language.
When the language is set in Japanese, the date will be written in Japanese but when it is set in English, the date will be written in English.
It would be great if we can set the language/format of the date to be the same when there is multiple signers with different language setting.35 votes -
Metadata immediately is searchable
After metadata is added, there is a lag for when it is searchable. Please eliminate this lag so that it is immediately searchable.

The Connector arrow needs to touch the edge of the Triangle Shape
Currently, when you draw a connector line to or from a triangle shape, the arrow doesn't actually start or end at the triangles border. It appears it just stops and isn't connected because its connecting to an invisible square border around the triangle.

Box session timeout with SSO
We are currently considering implementing SSO. The SSO service we plan to use has a session timeout feature,
This feature allows us to control the session time of the IdP.

I want to enable or disable offline use by folder or user in Box for iOS and Android.
I would like to be able to enable or disable offline use for Box for iOS and Android on a per-folder or per-user basis.

About file display
・I would like to be able to fix the sort order of files when opening folders (many users want to sort by file name).
・I want the viewer screen to open in a separate tab after clicking on a file.

Display folder path under file/folder listings
For example, for a folder "Project 1" several levels down in the Box hierarchy, display the folder path under the folder name:
Project 1
All Files > Level 1 > Level 2 > Level 3 > Level 4The folder path would be in a font smaller than the folder name and a slightly muted colour compared to the folder name

Message template aligned with Sign template
Ability to have message templates aligned with the Sign templates. Modifications to send messages are done per message, even if template is set-up.
template needs to be on each document
Example: Please Sign xyz document, does not populate from document name.

Box for Outlook: would be great if you could modify the attachment file name as you drop into Box.
Let's enable modifying the file name of the attachment in Outlook as it's saved into Box drop. Otherwise, I have to simply use Save As functionality in Outlook to modify the file name and get it to the right customer folder in Box. We use specific naming conventions to save files into customer folders. The document's file name needs to reflect the content. Without this detail, we have to wade through lots of documents in order to find what we need.

Feature enable " bulk uncheck" select items.
when there are many images on the based Boxnotes, Box Notes Images folder multiple items.
would like to make a open link the notes with the Boxnotes images.
If controll for open link, we enabled to be neccesery expiration date admin settings on admin console.But therefore if user needs no expiration (ex.newsletter or somthing) it quite takes time and effort to uncheck ”No expiration dates” shared link.

Improve BOX relay workflow functionality - storing file info / search patterns in a variable for use in a workflow
We tried using BOX relay to see if we can drop a file in a master folder, and copy it from mirrored folders, or delete from mirrored folders when deleted / moved from the master folder. But once you trigger a workflow you lose any connection to that file for future workflows.
A feature request would be to get the filename for file which triggers a workflow - store this in a variable and apply an action on matching files with the same name within another target folder. This filename / variable should be available in all steps within a given workflow.
You could also allow for variables where you store a file search pattern etc. for use in any step within the workflow. For all files matching this search criteria in a given folder, apply these actions.

Add information about when users clicks a bookmark to the user activity report
Currently, the behavior when users click a bookmark created in Box and move to the link destination is not included in the user activity report.
Administrators want to check which they used bookmarks and when from Box and which sites they accessed from the log.

Box Sign - Send documents to CC recipient prior to full execution of document
I would like for the individual(s) who are marked as Copy in the signature order to be able to receive the document prior to it being fully executed by every other person in the signing order.
We have clients where one person signs, but others want to receive the document simultaneously even though they're not signing, and if we use Approver for their role, 95% of the time they are unaware they have an action and the document never gets passed them in the signing order.
Please allow Copy individuals to have a place in the signing order other than at the very end.

Back up desktop and documents folder
It would be really useful if there was an option within box drive that would sync the users desktop documents and perhaps download folder to a folder within box.
I know users could just save the files on to box drive but that doesn't always happen (temp needed files etc) this would act as an almost auto back up feature.

Box Sign HIPAA compliance
I would like to use Box Sign for patients of a medical practice to complete and sign certain medical intake forms. In theory, Box Sign would be HIPAA compliant if not for one significant flaw that should be simple to fix.
Here's the issue...
When the document is completed and signed, the signer (medical patient in this case) gets an unencrypted email with a link to the signed document. Anyone with the link can view and download the document. If the unencrypted email is intercepted or hacked, the patient's protected healthcare information would be at risk.
To fix this, all you need to do is have an option to exclude the document link in the confirmation email. It would be best if we could customize the confirmation email, but at a minimum, we need the option to exclude the link.
This security flaw goes beyond HIPAA compliance. Any private information in a signed form is put at risk with link included in the confirmation email.

A dedicated notifications page to allow viewing of past notifications
I would like a page where all notifications live historically. Right now I am forced to use a small dropdown which is clumsy and not searchable.
I use notifications to find files that I was added to in the past but not recently enough to appear on recents page.
the ipad app has a page similar to what I am talking about except it doesnt go back far enough

Select box reports export folder
With the new scheduled report capability, it would be useful to determine the folder where scheduled report are exported as a way to grant access to a range of users. Whilst we can now select who are the viewers for a report, this is not ideal as people change roles, and therefore a location or a Box Group would be much more convenient ways to share scheduled reports
